Dante and his team of workers there a very professional job and interstate move for me. They came in one day and packed all my boxes. Then the next day they came and loaded the boxes on the truck. I met them at the destinations on the third day where they unpacked the truck, and put it into storage. Our movers, Adante, Marco, and Derrick, did a great job today. Navigated some very heavy furniture up some tricky stairs . Set up furniture and made sure everything was set up in the right place. Dante, Zarius, and Billy were extremely friendly, respectful, and skilled in moving heavy antique furniture from one 3 story house to another without a scratcb. My mom and I could not have been more pleased with how well they handled my furniture and what nice young men they were. Recommend 100%. This company also moved a baby grand piano that we sold, and they were fantastic then, as well, which is what led me to use them this time. I have had terrible experiences with movers in the past, so it was especially nice to have this team on my side!

When the first moving company I hired dropped my dryer on its face within the first 20 minutes of moving, I had to send them ‘packing’; but found myself stranded with a dryer in my driveway and my move stalled. I didn’t know it at the time, but this incident would lead me to call Southside Moving! They were able to fit me in the next morning and saved me!! They showed up on time, the two guys were very professional and experienced movers. Even midway into the move, management stopped by for a quality check. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am so very Thankful for Southside moving!

*** Surprise Charges--Incomplete work***I used this company to move from 1 apartment to another in the same complex. The 3 movers took breaks often, left my entire kitchen in the old apartment and charged an additional $1000 to the $2000 I had prepaid. They unpacked & repacked items and charged for packing supplies. They also didnt bother to reassemble furniture like my bed to sleep on.I have used them for storage of excess stuff during that time for $50/month for a single vault. I was told that it would cost me $450 for a move to get my belongings back, our $350 for another company to pick up my items, despite that I was originally told it would be a $75 fee to get my items myself using a rental truck.This is the absolutely worst moving experience Ive ever had!

As someone who’s done several moves with the military, This Is NOT the company to go with.1. I wouldn’t call what they do an “estimate”. It a ploy to get you to use them, then the price goes up (almost by 3x in my case). 2. Half -a** pack job and partially packed rooms added both time and materials to BOTH days and ALSO caused me to have to rent another storage unit last minute because my 4 br house wouldn’t fit in a 10x30.3. Banged up doors, missed packing drawers and closets, and best of all, on day two, after a seconded trip, I had to come home and pick up my front yard which was littered with drink bottles, empty tape rolls, box banding, and countless rolls of wrap (at least 3) that I’m sure I got charged for. NOT quick. NOT smooth, NOT efficient....and don’t let me forget standing over my shoulder to insist I fill out a 5 star review at the end.From the “estimate” to the pack out and finally the move to storage, not a smooth move, at all!
