I just went through the process of renting a storage unit with Extra Space Storage and it went very smoothly! Brandon from the Granby St Site in Norfolk was extremely helpful and patient, answering all of my questions and with a great attitude. He was even on the phone with me for a while taking me step-by-step through the whole process and explaining things for me so I wasn’t confused. I am happy I decided to rent a unit at this location, I know they will take care of me and answer any future questions I might have.

Brandon and the team at Extra Space have always been super helpful and have added the extra effort to ensure all of our storage needs are met. The facility stays clean and secure and you can walk away feeling safe that your belongings are in safe hands. One of the biggest benefits is knowing that you have a person in the vicinity the majority of the time and having that constant onsite presence def makes me feel a lot safer. With the recent cosmetic revamp to the outside of the building the Extra Space Storage facility on Granby street in Norfolk both looks as good on the outside as the care we receive on the inside. I had such a great experience with the staff at Extra Space. When I rented the unit over 4 years go it was a miserable experience and I was dreading coming back to close down my unit. Im renting two storage units at this place now, each time the process was seamless. Did a walkthrough of the unit, picked out one I wanted near my existing unit, and had the paperwork done in about five minutes. The building is secure and the gated loading/unloading area is nice so you can walk away from your moving truck for 5 minutes without worrying about anything getting lost. Theres an ample amount of shared furniture carts for you to use, but youll need to bring your own hand truck if youre moving boxes or appliances. Ive noticed the interior temperature is well-maintained and its never felt too hot/cold or humid inside, so I think my stuff will be fine in there without any risk of mold/mildew. Recommended.

Needed a place to store my stuff while I moved around and found you guys on the Internet with really good reviews. So came in and was helped by a young lady named Alex. She got me all taken care of and I was able to get what I needed done.

My wife and I began storing at the Granby location a couple weeks ago. It has been nothing but GREAT! We were initially assisted by Brandon who patiently listened to our needs and quickly accommodated us. He gave us tours of multiple units and answered our many questions. From there, we were able to sign the contract that day which was a huge relief to us after touring 5 other storage facilities. Although this location is further from our home than we’d like, Brandon is the core reason we are choosing to stay here long-term!In addition, Tony has been a great resource to us. Tony did an amazing job when I came in. He showed me around, broke down the price, helped me with knowing what I’ll need to do next. I did go get pricing at different locations and competitors and though I did see some with cheaper prices I am sticking with extra space storage because of Tony’s amazing customer service. He did a way better job than any other company. He was knowledgeable which is what made me not interested in U-Haul . He had no attitude, how showed he cared and helped me understand storage units. Rented a 12×5 unit here, which was perfect for storing all my items from my one bedroom apartment. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.
