DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Inexperience staff left unattended by management has cost me over $600. When I confronted management about the issue, he blamed his new associate instead of taking the blame himself for not properly training his staff members. I was having issues with my phone connecting to the network. No calls, text, or data. After being on the phone with tech support for 2 hours, they decided it was an issue with the phone. I needed a phone ASAP due to work reasons so my only option was to trade my phone for a new one. Instead of doing a $300 transaction for the trade in, the store associate paid my account the $300 towards my bill! In order to get my money back, I would have to call the 800 number and it could take multiple days before I receive it to my card. I ended up going to the VB location to get another phone and it cost me an additional $300. As I mentioned before the manager was of no help. Avoid this store at all cost and go somewhere else.

Kevin the store manager and associates Neil, Jeff and Alyssa were extremely patient and helpful. Although my online order wasnt a quick and simple pickup like it was supposed to be, they took their time and went above and beyond until I walked out with a service and new phone in hand.

I was in downtown Norfolk and saw a local AT&T store so I went in to inquire about upgrading my wife 7+ iPhone… I was greeted immediately by a gentleman named Kevin who proceeded to assist me answered all my questions and also informed me that my wife was entitled to a very big discount because she was an educator and also that I could trade in my iPhone 7+ that ge would save me $350... if it hadn’t been for his customer service and personality I would not of even consider doing business at the store... but because of it I ended up buying a new iPhone 12 until my wife and switching to a new plan that ended up saving me money! Thank you Kevin for your excellent customer service and thank you Keisha four your customer service and when I came back in to finish the deal it’s not too often when you find two of the three employees at a store that are over the top with customer service skills!!!

I’ve been having problems with my phone for more than a week now and technical support told me I just needed a Sim card. I called the store yesterday to be sure they would be open in the morning and when I arrived, despite what I was told, the store was closed. I had to go to work and came back several hours later but was forced to spend the whole day without service. I would have rated this with one star but the gentleman who was in the store alone was really nice and helpful even though he was inundated with customers.The new SIM card didn’t help, either.

My partner and I stopped in the Ghent location at 5:30 hoping to add an extra line and also upgrade my phone. Alexandria made the process extremely seamless for us even when we were faced with unexpected issues. She even stayed a half hour over her shift to make sure we were taken care of, truly exemplary customer service!

To start, two words; EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!Chaz P, hooked me up! He was able to multi-task with I and other customers in the store. He made the experience seemless. His customer service skills, knowledge of products, and full transparency is what truly sets him apart from ANY other AT&T associate Ive ever interacted with. Hands down, he is TOP NOTCH; if he already isnt the manager of this location, he truly needs to be! Not to mention, he was sweet and easy on the eyes. ;o)

Extremely disappointed, I would give 0 Stars if I could. This store has been highly recommended to me for its great service. However, I stopped by there on Wed. 7/8/2020 first thing in the morning. The sign says the store opens at 10:00 but nobody was there. I gave it the benefit of a doubt because unforeseen things do happen, but after waiting till almost 11:00 I gave up and left. I drove 25 min one way to this location for nothing. I was looking into changing my provider but needles to say thats not going to happen right now. I need dependable operating hours.

Had a terrible experience at AT&T Store (Colley Avenue) on 7/11 approximately 11:45 AM. I had to ask the store manager multiple times to keep his mask on (he would put it on and take it off seconds later each time) + he had said to me he is high risk! Additionally and not mask related, he told me multiple false things regarding updating my account and made me call customer service to take care of what needed to be done when he could have helped in person. I will never step foot in this store again.I ended up leaving and went to the AT&T location on military highway and they were all wearing masks and very helpful!

I came by the store around 10:45am yesterday, Wednesday July 7, 2020, only to find out that they were closed. I needed to open a business account for my agency and ended up driving to another location. There was no sign on the door stating why the doors were closed. Total waste of my time. Call before you go. Called today and they are open. I guess they do whatever they want here.

I visited this location to inquire about upgrading my phone. The worker that was there offered to lower our phone bill because upon seeing our account he mentioned that we were overpaying. Obviously everyone likes a deal so he lowered it for us. He then talked about the Buy-One-Get-One free deal going on. My husband and I are on a plan together so we were interested. After leaving the store and agreeing to come back another day to actually purchase the phones we were told to call the AT&Ts customer service to drop two unused lines we had on our account. The next day I called to drop the two lines only to be told that the man at the store switched use to an even more expensive plan. We also were then told that the BOGO deal did not even apply fully to the phones my husband and I were interested in buying but that we would get a $750 credit for one of the phones. Please insure that your staff are fully informed on the details of ongoing promotions. Very disappointed.

Just left from out of this location trying to switch my Samsung Note 9 to my iPhone 11 (that was purchased through AT&T). The sales associate was VERY RUDE from the beginning saying he basically couldnt do much because I ordered it online which cuts them out of commission. He then continues to be rude stating that its instructions on how to activate my phone on the box! Franchise or not, this was unacceptable & I wont do business with this location anymore. So much for the commission he would have made on the accessories I was going to purchase. To Military Hwy I go!

I came in with a very complicated situation that took a quite a while, but not because of the sales team in the store. The associate who helped me, Cameron, was very professional and provided excellent customer service. He deserves 5 stars. He would have been done with everything I needed in 30 minutes tops, but my business required calls to the AT&T customer service call center. Cameron was repeatedly sent to the wrong departments after long waits on hold, only to be returned back to where he started. He knew exactly what needed to be done, but the customer service call center didn’t.

Went to this store today had the pleasure of being Accosted meaning walked up on by the manager in a threatening manner because I asked for service that he didnt want to provide me Kevin invited me to a fight because I told that at&t does help with phone problems he stated that he doesnt do that and to take my at&t phone somewhere else mind you I have 3 line and I pay at&t 300 a month .my biggest problem is if he was that aggressive with me so freely how many other women has he done that to and yes it was bad enough to call the cops but I thought about his black live next his boss the owner and BBB Kevin should not be working there he doesnt work well with others

If zero stars were an option that is what this place would get. I was lied to by the representative. Told that a hotspot came with my service and was told it would only be one price a month which it ended up being more and it does not come with and I had to pay an early termination fee to get out of the contract for a hot spot that I said I didnt need but the sales man said it comes with it. I called the at&t customer service and explained the story and they understood and were very helpful but the return of the hot spot had to be made at the store and the manager wouldnt allow it because the purchase was made over 2 weeks ago and two weeks is their cut off. By the way I was only 3 days after that 2 weeks and I you dont get your bill until a month after. So its not like you can even see your bill before you decided if you want to keep it or not. And I explained to the manager how I didnt ask for it but the representative acted like it wasnt a choice and gave it to me like it wasnt a big deal. And she said he didnt work there anymore and was therefore not responsible for what he sold me. As if it wasnt them who hired him and therefore took that responsibility when they did that. And when I say he gave it to me I seriously mean he got it out and started setting it up and didnt even say a word about it until I asked him what was it and he said its a hot spot and I said I dont need one I have WiFi and he said dont worry it comes with it. The unfortunate news it that the only thing that actually came with the service I received at this store location was lies and disrespect.

Unprofessional. Workers were unhelpful and when I had to make a call to authorize a user they were literally SHOUTING and CURSING while joking around with each other when I was trying to call. I had to leave and go to a different location to get any help. EXTREMELY disappointed. If I could do no stars I would.

Do not use this store unless youre a masochist. We upgraded to an iphone 7 plus and traded in an iphone 6. We were never given a receipt for the trade in because their printer wasnt working. I received a notice from ATT that my device was never received almost a month after trading in. I tried calling the colley ave store several times, but there was no answer so I called ATT directly. ATT rep calls the store literally 2 minutes later and they answered right away, they tell the rep that the phone was sent out already. Now were almost two months from when we traded in the phone and we just got another notice from ATT that the phone still has not been received. They have already billed me for the entire amount owed on the previously traded in device. Called ATT and since the previous rep noted that the store said they sent it in, they will credit my account on my next bill. Ive traded in/upgraded phones before and never had this happen. This is the first time Ive used this store and it will be the last. Both ATT reps said that you should go to their corporate stores rather than an authorized retailer because of the issues with their customer service.

The people at this store, Skyler, in particular, are more incompetent at handling phones than are reps at other AT&T or other mobile retail stores that Ive been to. They dont even know how to insert SIM cards into phones and are blatantly rude. Save your time and go to the AT&T store in the MacArthur Mall. Youll thank me later.
