They have a huge selection of costumes and masks, of course. But they also have everything for every party. Got a theme? They have it. Color? Theyve got all of them.And balloons!

Ashley was GREAT!! She helped me pick out a costume and warned me it ran small bcuz the material doesnt stretch and she was right!!! It fits perfect!!!

Called and spoke with someone named Angel asked if they had a certain costume they refused to look up if they had it in stock.

They always have plenty of supplies.

A little upsetting that a guy was able to walk in and start begging for money from my husband at the register! Not one employee told his thats inappropriate...

The only place I could find Harry Potter decorations and stuff for goodie bags. My 8 yr old granddaughter was so happy. Which made me happy!

It would be no stars if possible. Be very careful with these people. I called on February 13 three times to place a balloon order for a baby shower. I was told that I had to come in. When I got there the line is almost outside. I waited about thirty minutes. The young lady at the register said I should place my order online. I did this. It was easy. About 10 minutes before they close I got an email that said my order was canceled. I called four times. No answer. It went to a voicemail. I left a couple of messages. The next day the day of my event I called and spoke to a manager. She told me there was no order for me. There was a billing issue. I should call corporate. I called left on hold for twenty five minutes. I hung up. Checked my account. They took the money from my account. No billing issue. A party city issue. No balloons for my event. Had to call bank and stop payment. Party City you are trash as hell for this. No one in the store offered any kind of support. Ok on to the next one.

Aisles were packed with boxes making it hard to maneuver around the store and see shelves fully. I went to ask an employee for help but they were roughhousing and playing around with each other; so I just drove to a different location instead.

It was last minute for me but, I got some great mask for a masquerade party. Affordable and a great variety

Im a working mom Who wanted to surprise my 18 year old daughter with a bunch of balloons rainbow colored and blue was the theme.upon delivery the driver lost one of my ballons the rainbow colored 8. I was offered a gold or rose gold 8 now I didnt want either I want what I paid for initially...I picked the gold because Im at work this was last minute and they needed to be delivered asap ....while trying to get a refund for the balloon that was lost I was really mistreated they made it seem like I should have been ok with my color scheme being thrown off by the gold balloon the came off as if they did me a favor Im disappointed and I dont recommend them delevering anything do not select them for a function they will not care if your order is correct or if something goes wrong

I was greeted by a very courteous associate, but, come checkout time...........the wait was ridiculous. I was the only person at checkout not wanting to order balloons, but for some reason EVERY associate was too busy to help me checkout 6 items. ONE of the 3 clerks up there could have checked me out, I understand the balloon demand from the 2 other customers, but one could have stepped away for 2 minutes to check me out. I waited nearly 10 minutes before an associate from the back of the store came to check me out. Needs better management.

Party City is the place to get your favorite costume! The selection is unlimited! New items, dont have to worry about who worn this item last! So safe!

Waited outside for my order to be brought out to me through the curbside pickup option. After 20 minutes I went in the store, there were 4 associates just talking at the counter and only 1 working at the register. Why would you even have a curbside pickup as an option at this store, if no one bothers to check the orders? Party city is paying people to chit chat with each other at this location.

I was in and out quickly during my lunch with a complete Halloween costume. Still had enough time to enjoy my lunch.

They only carry Genie costumes for Halloween. Why? And the 👧 that helped me was standing on a ladder in front of the thing that looks 👍 it could be Super Womans lasso. Whats going on here?

I came to this location with an order number and no one could find my order. The first employee was very helpful in trying to figure out what happened. But the manager was far from helpful and very nasty!

The service was super slow. I understand that everyone is just now really getting things back going. But I still in line for 15 minutes and they had only dealt with one customer. And then the store had the nerve for the AC to be broken as well. Whats the point of your store being open when you dont have enough employees to service your customers, your AC is broken and you dnt really have any merchandise in the store. The only positive is that they did have the balloon I went in there for.

Staff was sparse, waited in line for at least 20 minutes bc of the 4-5 staff only one was on register. Plus some dude was allowed to walk around the store without a mask, AND not properly distancing, staff didnt do anything about it

Even during this pandemic the employees here are doing a great job and very helpful. Had to order last minute things for a party and they had my order ready for me within an hour of ordering. Thank you!

The store was busy as it was close to Halloween which was to be expected so that wasnt the problem the apathetic employee who didnt even really want to answer any of our questions or help us or point us in a general direction is what really soured The experience so we ended up leaving without buying anything and went somewhere else

Quite a large store and everything seems to be labeled accurately to locate what you need. The staff was helpful when we couldnt quite find the exact item we needed. Also has a good selection of costumes and props even in the off season as we needed some items for a pirate themed party. Will be back for all our party needs.

A bit messy and staff were kinda all over the place chatting up a storm with each other and didnt seem too approachable. The cashier, Emily, however was much nicer and talkative. Not a bad store, not a bad Party City first experience.

This store needs improvement in keeping items stocked and organized. I was disappointed in the lack of selections. I had a 60s party to attend, but the store didnt even have an Afro wig or bell bottoms. Really?! Get it together people! So, I went to a Mom and Pop store in Virginia Beach instead and found everything that I needed plus more for my 60s party.

I placed an online order with this store and the accuracy of what they have in stock to be ordered and picked up in store in NOT accurate. I was told that if something is damaged and they take it out of the system it doesnt update the inventory online... for a big company like this i think that is not acceptable. For example i placed an order with letter balloons and Wedding ring shot glass (quantity 7) and tells me only have 5 in stock when online says 8. She called the Volvo Parkway location to see if they had 2 and online they say they have 23 in stock, that is a very wide quantity difference. Needless to say i wont make another online order to be picked up in store from here again.

13 days until Halloween, costumes advertised still not there and no sold out signs on ones they were out of. Asked about 5 different costumes. No luck. Service was on point. They were ready and willing to help, just not set up for success. Very pleasant staff.

Went to buy a pair of Saint Patrick socks. Sign says 1.99. Marc the manager rings them up and says 5.99. I told him the sign clearly says 1.99. When he went to check he said it does but their not in the right spot. This is not my fault. He would not sell them to me for the price posted. Poor customer service. I left.

Whats cant I say about Party City my kids love Party City I love it. Because I can get everything that I have for the party balloons happy birthday banners and everything. I will recommend Party City One Stop Shop.

I purchased a costume for a halloween party after halloween and it was too small when I tried to return it they said no halloween is over you cant return that even though the recipt says I have upto 30 days with original recipt

They didnt have as much stuff as they normally do during Halloween. Alot of the party supplies. Cant complain too much. It is called party city.

It was like other Party City stores. Lots of great items for parties but it does look a little disorganized and unclean. Staff were friendly even when it was busy. When asking g for balloons the staff made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Overall, it wasnt a bad trip.

Today I went into Party City in Norfolk and I was purchasing some candy. The sign said $9.99 for 320 pieces of fruitys. I counted out 320 at the counter and the young lady who was ringing me up asked William, who Im assuming is the manager said no they are 10 for $1.00. I stated all their signs said $9.99 and William stated it was for the bag candy. There werent any bag of fruitys near the ones we saw ans $9.99 was under all of them. So false advertising and I should have been granted the price that showed up. Well William rude and didnt care to discuss it. The young lady at the register apologize for Mr. William and I said no need. I will never come back.

Great one stop shop for parties and events. Customer service can be hard to come by as there seems to generally be a lack of staffing.

Went to get balloons yesterday for my kids party and they were backed up with orders, no big deal, but we were ahead of a guy that decided he couldnt wait, asked to have his giant balloons filled up first or he was going to ask for a refund. This girl instead of saying, ok but I have to do their order first before I give you your refund, just started filling up this guys balloon right in front of my in laws and I. The employees and manager move so slowly and have horrible customer service. I asked the manager for a certain decoration and instead of saying let me check, or literally doing anything to try just flat out says we dont have any of those necklaces. He didnt make any effort to look or give me an aisle to even look down. Needless to say I found three boxes on my own. This place is horribly managed and today when I woke up the balloons were already on the floor and the expensive moana balloon was barely floating. Do yourself a favor and dont go to this store. Im not sure how the other ones are setup, but Id rather go to to Newport news miles out of my way instead of ever going to this poorly run, picked over items store. Do not go here.

At 3:30pm EST today I went to Party City in Norfolk, VA on Military Hwy to obtain items for an event at my school. I approached two female African-American cashiers speaking to each other (cannot recall the name of either, one had a name starting with ‘A’) and said “hello”. They continued talking to each other but were looking at me. I pulled out my phone to ask them a question in locating an item within the store. I was IMMEDIATELY and aggressively YELLED at for “interrupting our conversation”, told I “have no manners”, and they can’t believe how “rude” I was. As I walked away I could still hear them talking rudely about me.I am honestly SHOCKED at how poorly I was treated for attempting to purchase items at this store. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a cashier. I highly doubt that me or my school will be using Party City any longer. I do not believe this is the image that Party City as a company desires for their stores, nor the type of people they wish to employ.
