Amazing experience while visiting Norfolk. Been wanting to try an electric bike and figured our trip to the area was a good chance to experience one. It actually exceeded my expectations! The Elizabeth River bike trail is a great way to test the bike and see the area. There are a couple great breweries along the way that make the journey rewarding. Bikes were a blast! I was thinking about purchasing one before riding, but this adventure has sealed the deal! Staff here is extremely friendly and helpful, to both first time and experienced riders! Stop reading this reveiew and book your bike adventure! It was one of the highlights of our trip for sure!

My first time riding with a group of friends, it was fun. The weather was perfect. Loved the Electric Bike. You will love it, Friendly staff.

The Pedgo team is a great group of people to ride with. Tim is concerned with our safety and gives us great advise while riding on the road with many cars passing us. Being outside in the fresh air getting exercise while having fun is my favorite part. Our last ride of the season had 20 riders. We laughed at stories stopped for lunch and rode the ferry.

The Norfolk store is beautiful. We took our bike there to have work done that other bike shops could not fix . They took the time and fixed everything that I ask. The owners and there staff are very friendly and will help you any way they can .My wife loves her Pedego .

Nice pleasant ride along the Elizabeth River Trail and other sections of historic downtown Norfolk. The Bakehouse At Chelsea is always a highlight stop for some excellent bakery items. The bikes are well maintained and equipped with everything you will need. Shelby is a great guide.

We test drove several bikes and purchased two Elements along with all the bells and whistles. We are so pleased with our purchase and our experience at PEB at Norfolk. Kevin and his staff were very informative, innovative, and just a pleasure to be around. These folks know their products! Great crew! Great customer service!

Fantastic self-guided tour with the e-bikes! They were a bit tricky to get used to at first but Kevin was so patient & kind and helped us get more comfortable with them. By the end of the day, it was like we’d done it all our lives! Super fun way to see a new city, highly recommend!!

We had the most fantastic experience renting bikes today. The associates were extremely knowledgeable and gave us the skills to hit the open rode. The bikes themselves rode smoothly, and the helmets had bluetooth speakers giving us the ability to chat with each other. We cannot wait to be back!

From the minute my wife and I stepped into Kevin and Amy’s Pedego shop in Norfolk, we were treated extremely well - they are top notch from their greeting to their knowledge of the bikes. And oh the bikes…they ARE fun. As a long time triathlete and road cyclist, I was hesitant and leery to give them a try. Boy was I wrong. The bikes turned out to be great exercise as well as perfect way to do a group ride with friends. Bottom line…my wife and I bought two!

Great service and easy to work with. Excellent product knowledge as well. I practically destroyed my city commuter and was having difficulty with various other locations getting it repaired and getting parts. They had all the parts, knocked it out right away, and also tuned up my wifes bike. Purchased a THULE bike rack that mounts great on my pick up. Highly recommend these folks.

Wonderful experience! Bought our first e-bike after spending several hours with Amy, one of the owners of this store. I have experienced all levels of customer service in my 66 years all around the world, and Ive never seen better than this. Yesterday, we went from knowing essentially nothing about e-bikes to being confident in our decision to make this sizable investment. Even though the store is busy, Amy and her staff patiently and fully answered every question we had. It was also a real pleasure to actually ride around the beautiful Norfolk waterfront with Amy. Other retailers take note. This is how you take care of customers and build long term relationships!

As an avid cyclist, I hadn’t considered an e-bike, until I broke my leg. I shopped around a bit but decided on Pedego Norfolk for my purchase based on Amy and her team’s care and concern helping me pick the best bike for me. Also, I was influenced by my brother-in-law’s happy several year long history with his own Pedego bike. I picked up my new Boomerang just in time to join friends riding the New River Trail near Galax, Va. Hello Fun!

Amy and her team were better than anywhere I went to look for an electric bike. I went to other bike stores even another Pedego. None were as helpful as Amy in Norfolk. It was worth the 2 hours drive. The first day my husband and I arrived for him to determine if he even wanted an electric bike, they took good care of him. For o er 2 hours they allowed him to test every bike, ride with him around Norfolk and then customized a bike to his specification. I could have not have asked for anymore. But they still went above and Beyond that to help my husband make the best choice for him. I will never buy another bike u less it is from Pedego of Norfolk. I promise you will never regret your decision by allowing these people to help you and buy the best bike for your buck. Prices were great!!!! I could never thank Amy and your team enough for making my husband fee like a kid again.

Rented an electric bicycle for 4 hours. Excellent customer service at the pickup, enhanced by the staffs recommendations of sites to see along the bike path. The bike was extremely easy to use and safe to operate with helmets and locks included. Pricing was very affordable with an hour of free time included. Overall I would say an excellent option for exploring some of the sights of Norfolk and so much fun that the four hours just flew by.

My wife and I bought the Interceptor Platinum eBikes. We couldn’t be more pleased. The bikes are great and a lot of fun. Amy, Kevin, and all of the staff at Pedego Norfolk are a pleasure to do business with. They are all friendly and helpful.

My new Inteceptor is without a doubt the best bike Ive ever owned... and Ive owned many. I was just looking while visiting the Pedego Norfolk store and was immediately impressed by the quality and inventory of products on display. I should add that Store Manager Rick took the time to educate me on Pedego and provided a test ride which pretty much made my decision to purchase. I purchased a new Inteceptor, had a few options added while enjoying lunch just around the corner, and returned home to OBX with it that same day.

After a good bit of research on several eBike products, I landed on a Pedego.Wanted a dealer nearby ( within an hour or so) and found Pedego-Norfolk. This business of getting a bike my mail and unable to test it out just did not work for me. Check.Wanted a lot of information and exposure to Pedego product line finding what is best for me. Jerri at the shop nailed it with her help, knowledge of the Pedego products, listened intently to find a bike match. Check.I spent more than I had initially budgeted but WELL worth it! Beautiful bike and great accessories! Check.Highly recommend Pedego products! I bought the 26” Boomerang. Great low step through a big plus! Check.Lastly…. I visited the Norfolk location a couple of weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the friendly atmosphere and the knowledge I obtained on E Bikes. The owners make you feel at home the moment you walk into the store. They have bikes available for all type of riders and youre able to rent one to get a feel for the bike. Ive rented twice since that time and plan to purchase one within the next month. Great experience!

Best. Day. Ever!! The bikes are so much fun. Do the Saturday morning tour deal which is $20 for 2 hours with a guided tour of the Elizabeth River Trail.Bikes don’t make noise. These are not scary to ride.I went up a steep hill at 17 mph with three pedal revolutions.Staff is fun.Pro Tip: You can actually charge your phone by plugging it into the bike while you ride.Staff takes their time to teach you how to ride the bike and give you some practice time. They offer corporate team building rides and the bikes are for sale.They have a real deal bike mechanic on staff for repairs to your non-electric cycle. Buy your bike gear for any bike here too. This is a real bike shop.

You MUST stop by Pedego Electric Bikes in downtown Norfolk and rent electric bikes! This is a great experience for anyone (groups, friends, dates, etc) whether you are visiting or a local in the Norfolk/VA beach area. This was my first time riding electric bikes and we had a blast. Just down the street are scenic views of the water and more to enjoy. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and personable which made our experience all the more awesome. Trust me, these are not just regular bikes! I could compare the feeling to riding a jet ski or motorcycle as these things can really pick up speed when you want them to! Highly recommend

I made two visits to Pedego Electric Bikes Norfolk. The first was yesterday to try out a bike, the second was today to pick up the bike I wanted.I enjoyed everything about the experience except the fact that the small staff meant having to wait several minutes while other customers were being helped. Everything else was great.

The folks at this shop are so super helpful! I was having a hard time finding the exact helmet I wanted- Thousand Heritage, size small in the color stealth. Not only did they have 1 in stock, they set it aside for me so I could zip in and check it out! oh- and also, for you Linus fans.... they carry these awesome bikes- not just the electric Pedego. If youre like me, you may just think that they carry Pedego bikes and products but they do have a variety of other items available, as well as bike rentals! Go check em out!

If youre looking to get active during the pandemic, Pedego Norfolk is the place to go.I started looking for a new bike in May after finally paying off my car. I was looking to get more active after being confined to my apartment for most of the spring, and unfortunately most local places were sold out of anything due to disruptions in production and shipping. At this point I was curious about giving electric a try, and seeing as how I was close to work it could become my primary form of local transportation.I stopped by on a Saturday, and Kevin (one of the owners) was happy to allow me to try several models free of charge or stipulations. He was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process, and the bikes themselves were a ton of fun to ride. Ultimately I decided between two: the Gorilla fat tire bike and the Ford Supercruiser. I still wanted time to make my decision and told him I would return by the end of the month once I had made up my mind over whether or not to make a major purchase. In the meantime, I did more research as well as checked out a local competitor. The competitors product was inferior, and the employees did not know much about the specs on the electric bike I tried at their location. I returned to Pedego Norfolk two weeks later as promised and left happily with my Ford Supercruiser.Amy and Kevin have been amazing to work with. I have only had minor issues with the bike since, and they have been very helpful during those moments. I definitely recommend their business for anyone looking to purchase a bike.

When I was planning my trip to Key West I knew I wanted to rent an electric bike so I decided to rent local at Pedego Electric Bikes Norfolk! Amy and Kevin were amazing and got me hooked up with the Latch which folds and store in a bag with wheels!! How easy and it fit perfectly in my SUV!! I used it every day for two weeks and not one issue!! A friend commented that she didnt understand electric bikes and I said its because you havent ridden one yet!! Do yourself a favor and rent one from Amy and Kevin and Pedego!!!

I was able to look at both the electric fat tire bike and the two onewheel models. Seeing them online and doing research is cool, but being able to look at them in person, feel their weight, and talk to someone about the products was super helpful. The team at the Downtown Norfolk location were able to answer questions, show me accessories m, and even price a bike with everything I’d want on it. Now I just have to figure out which one I want more - the Element or the Onewheel!

Wow! What an awesome experience! After months of quarantine and a cx family trip, my son and I decided to have some fun in August and rent bikes at Pedego Norfolk this summer. What a great time! Kevin, Amy and staff are knowledgable, helpful and fun. The bikes are comfortable, easy to ride and fun! (I had not been on a bike for over 10 years!). The Norfolk route was easy and very scenic. You NEED to do this, you will love it!

I recently purchased a Pedego Interceptor Bike from Pedego Norfolk. Amy Oliver, her husband Kevin, and their son Sam were very helpful in my purchase. I should note that I rented the bike on two occasions before buying it as I like to do before buying expensive items liked bikes and other items costing hundreds or thousands of dollars to get an idea as to whether I really want them. The Pedego electric bike met that criteria and has been fun to ride. I would encourage anyone interested in purchasing a Pedego bike to rent it first, if possible, as it is at Pedego Norfolk. It is nice to know too that Pedego Norfolk offers a “tour”program for rides around different locations in the Hampton Roads area and would encourage those interested in riding an electric bike to check one out for a tour or just rent one to try or buy.

This store offer a huge selection of commuter e-bikes and the owner went out of her way to answer questions and show me her line of e-bikes. E-bikes will definitely be a game-changer for both transportation, recreation and fitness for me.

They have always been very helpful with repairing our bikes I have a trike and my husband has a bike. we bought them from Norfolk Pedego about a year ago. we had a major problem with our bike holder And my trike was dragging on the ground. this caused extensive damage to my trike. we had a time frame as we are full time RVers. they worked0 extra hard to get it repaired by the time we needed it. they are great to work with.

They let me try out the onewheel pint and drive and had a fleet of really nice bikes

Had an issue with my bike over the weekend called and spoke with Kevin. He tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone with me but I wasnt able to fix it . So he told me to bring it in on Monday witch is a closed for business day for them he had a mechanic Ricky to come in that day to fix my bike now thats what I call outstanding business ownership. Buying Pedego bikes was such a great decision for my husband and me. We love spending time together, but normally run out of ideas for things we can do. We are eating more heathy, so going out to eat doesn’t happen very often either. We needed something enjoyable to do together that didn’t involve food! My husband bought me a Pedego for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE IT! He and I started riding together; me on my Pedego and he on his mountain bike. We had great times together and knew we were on to something. We enjoyed the rides, but we did have some trouble communicating during the rides. He also had some trouble keeping up with me. Over the course of a few weeks, I was pushing him to get a Pedego because knew he would love it. He pushed back for a while. Finally I said I was going to get him one for his birthday. He finally conceded, and now he is so glad he did. While we were in the Norfolk store picking out his bike, we told Amy that we really didn’t need helmets and probably wouldn’t wear them. That is until she demonstrated how we could communicate clearly with each other through the helmets while riding together. They were a game changer. We no longer feel alone while riding, and no matter how windy it is or how fast you are riding, you don’t hear wind noise and the comms are loud and clear. We are enjoying the bikes so much, and especially the distances we can cover using the pedal assist. We still get the exercise, but can take longer rides. Now we have a Thule bike carrier for the car so we can take the bikes to new locations to ride. These bikes have turned out to be the best gifts we could have chosen for each other. We now have a hobby we look forward to doing together, we get more exercise, and we have both lost over 15 lbs. Spring is almost here folks! Join in the fun! Thank you Amy and Kevin for everything! Pedego Norfolk is centrally located in downtown Norfolk with easy access to Granby Street, the Elizabeth River Trail, and more! Dawn and I rented bikes took an Independence Day ride around Norfolk and over to Portsmouth. We rode 20+ miles and hardly broke a sweat! Wes and Dane were really helpful in making sure that we selected the correct bikes and giving us instruction on how to use them.

This is one of the most exciting businesses to open in Norfolk! What great timing too. So many people dont want to drive their car to work or out, so whats a great in-between way to go? Electric Assist Biking! I was eager to rent one and now Im looking to buy!

Everybody needs to get downtown Norfolk and check out the cool Pedego Electric Bikes! I stopped by just to check it out and was completely blown away! These are a different type of electric bikes then most of us are used to. It is a pedal assisted electric bike. You can pedal, then Cruise, then go to the throttle whichever you choose. Has a great many different styles for different uses. The owner even took me on a test drive! How cool is that?! The owner and the staff that I met are open honest and genuine people. Could not have been any more helpful and answered all of my questions. Youve got to check this joint out!!!

If you are looking to rent bikes to cruise around Norfork this is the place to do it. The electric bikes were easy to use and were fun to ride. They had plenty of power and were comfortable for a guy my size 61 300lbs. The bikes had bags to put items in and they provided a lock for when we wanted to stop to grab a bite.

The bikes are amazing for every member of the family. The owners go the extra mile with extraordinary customer service, they are the best!

Incredible service. Amy and Kevin, the owners, were my deciding factor to purchase a Pedego e-bike as opposed to going to one of their competitors.They go above an beyond to make sure that you are taken care of.I had a slow leak in my rear tire and called Pedego of Norfolk and Kevin came by that evening which was the Friday before Memorial Day and he set up a rack in my driveway and fixed it on the spot.A couple of weeks later I had another flat and I called again and Amy drove their Pedego service vehicle and picked it up and delivered it back to me the following morning. A wire sliver half the size of an eyelash was the culprit.All of the above was at no cost... it is just how they operate their business. Their service and desire to take care of their customers is second to none.I ended up choosing Pedego based on their 5 year warranty which is around 4 years more than the industry standard, as well as the fact that I wanted to have a local shop to take it to if I ever had an issue and in the case of Pedego Norfolk they actually came to me and the main deciding factor to purchase was the trust that I had in the owners, Amy and Kevin.If you are considering purchasing an e-bike make the leap and go to Pedego of Norfolk you wont be disappointed.

Kevin and Amy are fantastic to work with. Stop in and they will help you find what you are looking for. I frequent their shop for the great community they have created and their awesome selection of Onewheels and accessories. Their helmet selection is also fantastic. I’ve also rented bikes from them before and their group rides on the ERT are super fun. Check them out for all your e-commuting needs, you won’t be disappointed.
