I came to get my tire fixed after a botched plug job at a previous shop. George took my car in despite only working with one other employee, and knowing how difficult fixing the tire would be. He charged me an amazing price and was done very quickly. He was so sweet and made my day so much brighter after it being so horrible after going through trouble with having a flat, to getting the wrong service etc etc... George is the best!!! First time customer now a life time customer. Today I brought my 2017 sonata to get new tires. I spoke with George the manager and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to find me 20 inch tires in my price range. He took his time explaining the differences in tires and was NOT trying to up sale me his customer service was outstanding to the point where I decided to bring in my Toyota Camry in today as well for tire service. If it has any negative rating , this auto services deserve to be in negative -5. One of the worst and most cheating service i had been till now.The funny part is that for just 1 quantity of caliper he charged 450$ and labor he charged 220$. Just for changing one rotor , caliper and brake pad and for alignment he charged 1800$. But while on phone he said we are changing 2 sides of rotors. Though the parts were there , he said parts were missing.Request guys be aware before going to this guy. He is over arrogant and cheats very easily.

Went in last minute to get a tire mounted. Everyone was really kind and professional. Had us in and out in no time. Price was $40 for the mount, recycling of the old tire and balance. Highly recommend coming here!

I drove in with a check engine light and they performed a thorough check - found a number of preventative maintenance issues overdue... remember your preventative maintenance. We had a conversation about what to prioritize and what I could afford. I felt him looking out for me throughout the service and even when the service took more time, he held true to his estimate.The shop closes at 6; 6:30 and George himself had his hands dirty working hard to ensure I got my car out the same day. Solid customer-first behavior.

I have been a very satisfy client of George for 30 years now.He has always provided excellent service for all my vehicles. He even stayed late to wait for me to service my emergencies including holidays or late evenings.

Bad diagnostics, charged me over 1200 for a hose that didn’t solve my problem and now I have the worst coolant leak you can imagine, avoid repairing here

I had a mishap with one of my tires yesterday and it was absolutely amazing how George was able to go out of his way to assist me. I had a flat tire after leaving work and was going to wait for a tow truck to tow my car back to Oakland but decided it was worth a shot to give some local tire stores a call. It just happens that Newark Tire & Auto Services was the closest and George took my call at 5:45PM - 15 minutes before they closed. Not only did he wait for me to drive to the store - he and his associates were able to fix my tire and get me back on the road, saving me the time I would have waited and the inconvenience of waiting for my roadside assistance. I would say thank to newark tire auto that I was with my family going back to south Cali, my vehicle wheel was making noise, end up repair was done at dealership Toyota Fremont, was charged over $600 front brake. Unfortunately end up they find out was backing plate touching the rotor, this place is so friendly and they were so busy, end up they fit me in before taken appointment and less than a hour my vehicle was ready, we like the shopping center a lot of restaurants and fast food, thanks to Newark Goodyear, I highly recommend this place!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Patient, clear, honest, no hidden fees. Solid knowledgable mechanics with experience. Had tires installed on two vehicles and alignment. Fair prices with options. The owner Mario is a great guy and serious about customer service. He even helped me on a battery issue and offered tips to save money rather than changing parts to find the issue which can get costly. Thats pretty rare from mechanics these days. Thanks.

I would give a lesser rating, but zero stars isnt an option. Not only did the manager try to swindle us out of 2000 dollars, when I chose to seek a second opinion, he was rude, belligerent and even proceeded to perform services that I had not authorized him to do, then proceeded to try and charge me for them. Note that I made k it abundantly clear I did not want him servicing my vehicle, and he did so anyway in an attempt to banboozle me out of more money.He was even so bold as to physically accost me in a confrontation outside his business, then turned around and called the police on us! I wish there was a way to leave negative integers in stars, because he would definitely get them!

Found an honest shop that does quality work for a fair price. Staff are very friendly and easy to work with; Hi George and Price! Mechanics are very knowledgeable and took the extra time to explain root cause for my tire wear issues. Will return for future repairs.

Don’t recommend. Alignment was off and tires lost balancing weights after a month. The shop wouldn’t do rebalance even though promised lifetime balance. Not coming back.

My friend went for error code check. They charged $150 for the error code check and then charged $1200 in repairs. The error code was for a simple pcv valve replacement. They lied about other repairs. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

I took my car to this place expecting to get it fixed. I got two increased from the original estimate, at the end of the repair he told me “the car is not good but I have to charge you everything because I already replaced the parts 😡. I was close to get a layer to help to fight this cause but I trade the car on a dealer. REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE 👎

I live in SJ and just left an appointment, I noticed the Goodyear Tire shop and was in need of an alignment, last week had an oil change and was aware of the conditions of my tires and brakes. When I walked in one person was being helped but I was greeted right away. George is the manager who greeted me explained the cost and alignment service I started to inquire about the other things I knew it needed and he took my word for it and no High pressure sale! I ended up purchasing two tires, replaced 4 brake pads and an alignment! Im very happy and feel confident with the service provided here. The coffee is complimentary and very good too!

Dont go this place! I think the owner is not a honest man and he is trying to set you up for tire replacements, even though it is not necessary yet. All he want from you is money, and he will try his best to make things look more serious than it actually is. Go to Americas tire or Costco, where you can get much cheaper price for good set of tires.

I blew a tire at work and, knowing that my tires were often special orders, I called around to shops nearby and George told me that they had it in stock. He asked me when I thought Id come by and I told him in 20 minutes. He explained that he had to send someone to get it from the warehouse. He didnt ask me for a credit card or really my name, but he sent someone to go pick up the tire. My supposedly run-flat tires never made it all the way to his shop and I had to call a tow truck. I called George back and let him known that Id be arriving later than planned and he said it was okay and gave me an update on how long it would take the tire to arrive. Eventually, the tow truck came and brought me to the shop. Perhaps 10 minutes later, the tire showed up and George had someone promptly change the tire. I assumed from the smoke and damage that Id destroyed my TPS (tire pressure sensor) and George couldve easily charged me another $200-300 bucks if he wanted to and I wouldnt have known any difference. The TPS was fine, they installed the tire and it all worked perfectly. I paid exactly what he quoted me. Also, the shop was well organized and clean and George was a good communicator, trustworthy, professional, and friendly. Ill definitely go back again.

I had a coupon and it still ended up costing over$100 for an oil change. Oooch! Service was good though.

George and Price explained the problem to me really well. They dropped me off at my home for the duration of the repairs. When I went to Costco or other shops, those folks made the whole process unnecessarily complex. These guys even gave me real time updates over text messages during the repair process including photos. Highly recommend getting whee alignment, tire replacement, struts repair, 30 K service.

We took our car there after we got bad fuel at a gas station nearby (go ahead and guess). They did a great job on all of the repairs. New fuel pump, lines, spark plugs, and injectors. Everything was way cheaper then what the dealer would have charged, and I can say we received quality work. I got the feeling that they were very honest and capable. Would definitely recommend.
