Omg...Let me tell you what happened when the worker from this place arrived. He proceeded to jump on top of my washer and was pulling on the plug. I told him stop pulling on it and get down. The cord maybe stuck under the machine because I had unplugged it and turned the water off. Than I told him please pull the machine out just a little. You be able to get it that way. He didn’t listen to a word that I said. He went right back to pulling on my cord and than. He broke the prong. He than went out and brought in another cord and cut my cord in half. Than stripped the wires and taped them together. I was so angry. I told him that you didn’t need to do that. They sell replacements prong at Home Depot for $2-$6 dollars. You just cut the prong off strip it and attach it. He didn’t fix my washer. He took the wires of the unit that activated the washer once the door is close. Stripped it and joined them together and taped it. I already knew that I could do that. I wanted it repaired correctly. So he did all this and still took every cent of my money. He never apologized for breaking my cord. Where did they find this guy. He was totally rude. Mind you I had not been using this washer for seven years. We were going to the Laundromat and drying them at home. I have Kenmore washer and dryer. The top of the line built to last. The picture is all that he needed instead of cutting my cord in half. This company has a great reputation of excellence. That’s why I called them. I don’t know what went wrong this day. UPDATE: The owner of this business called me. He wanted to come over and repair the damage done. Here’s the kicker he wanted me to pay for the visit and repairs. I had no problem paying for the part that was needed. He wanted me to pay three times the price of the piece. I flat out told him absolutely not. I don’t trust your company

I purchased a washing machine in April 2020 with a 2 month warranty! Today I called and they came out and fix my washer for free even though the warranty had expired months ago! Thanks GMJ

They have so much inventory to get rid of and instead of making a sale they wanna be petty over 20 bucks and didnt want to deliver it into the home but to the curve.... sorry but theres other used places that offer more than a 2 month warranty....

We purchased a Kenmore refrigerator. This is our first time purchasing any item from GMJ Appliances. They have washing machine, dryers, refrigerator, stoves etc.... Everything went well with purchase & delivery. They do charge for delivery as well as tax....We would definitely purchase again if need be!

Most amazing place to buy a fridge

Purchased a refrigerator from this company and within the first two days the refrigerator broke down. Guy came out to fix it and it worked fine for 4 months, then it broke down again. Called to have someone look at it and we havent heard anything back...I guess after the 60 day warranty expires they dont care.Update: Within me writing this post, the company came out and repaired my refrigerator and fixed it without hesitation and after the warranty expired. WOW is all I can say!! I had to change my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. GMJ went above and beyond to help this customer become a satisfied customer. Forever grateful because now I dont have to purchase another refrigerator.

I needed a new washing machine after being told mine could not be fiaxed by another repair company, for $75 that mine could not be fixed. I went to G M G, on Thursday, and got a washing machine on Friday for half of what I would have paid new. They took my broken washer installed the refurbished the next day. I would highly recommend them.

Went it 2 times to try to find a fridge, but I just found high prices on no very good appliances, place is in a dirty old looking building, customer service is not really what you can expect, I mean almost all Newark are is terrible customer service everywhere you go.

Hard to find hide behind school buses. Fridge dirty and smelly also overpriced for something picked up off the street on bulk day not to mention a $65 delivery fee.
