I have used Scanio Moving at least 4 times (most recently in August of 2021) and I have been 100% satisfied every time. Their attention to detail and professional staff, with each move, have delivered all of our household contents including artwork, sculpture and fragile items without incident. If your want to have a worry free move, my advice would be to call Scanio Moving first.

Used Scanio Movers for my move to Houston, Nir and company are the most trustworthy and professional moving company in Manhattan. Gave me a very reasonable cost which was definitely worth it considering the value/time his team spent on this and better than the competition. Our dear friend recommended this company to us for our cross-country move (from NYC to LA).We called them 6 weeks prior to our moving date (we didn’t even have a place yet in LA), but Idan was very helpful in telling us what to do and how to prepare for the move. He suggested a time closer to our estimated moving date to talk again but he ensured us that they’ll be able to help us even though we wanted to move at a busy time: in the middle of July.When I talked to them next time, I sent them a video about our packed apartment, they made an estimate for us which ended up only a $100 more (boxes etc. that they had to bring to cover our furniture, artwork etc. that they couldn’t foresee) thanks to Dane. I think it’s a fair price considering that we packed the apartment and they’ve never seen it in life (thanks to COVID-19).I’d like to give a big shoutout to Dane, Teddy, Frank, Patrick and Kevin for being so efficient, professional, helpful, precise and quick in packaging up our apartment and in 3 hours (they had to pack our furniture) they cleaned out our one-bedroom.We really appreciate their help and highly recommend them to everyone!

Movers double parked next to my car, made a dent and refuse to accept it, although we have video from their truck next to my car.

The crew arrived on time, our estimator (Anthony) was on site to get them started, they were all in uniform and worked as a very efficient team. Herbert was the crew leader and he was cheerful and professional, and got the job done ahead of schedule. They even moved a very large, very heavy, server cabinet down a flight of stairs seamlessly. Highly recommend this company - and in particular Herberts crew!

Scanio removed all our belongings into storage for three months to allow us to renovate our apt. The crew were great, both for the move out and when they returned our belongings. They were attentive, efficient and flexible and they packed everything carefully including ornaments and many fragile items.. I would certainly recommend Scanio without any hesitation

I found them online and after reading some positive reviews I decided to have them come in for a free consultation. The representative that came was very nice and came on time, which I really appreciated - I had 2 other companies come in for estimates and one was over an hour late and the other never showed up. We scheduled a date for the move within the agreed upon fees and timeframe. The movers showed up on time and did an excellent job packing my valuables and carefully taking them down the stairs. Everything was done smoothly and professionally and there were no hidden fees or surprises of any kind - what we agreed on was the price I ended up paying. Scanio is a very professional company and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a solid and reliable moving company.

I used Scanio Moving and Storage for an international move from the United States to Israel. They were extremely professional from day 1. They carefully packed all of my belongings, brought in a container, took care of all the customs issues and after 3 weeks all of my belongings were in Israel. I would highly recommend them for any long distance or international move.

We hired Scanio Moving and Storage for a move from NYC to the San Francisco bay area. Scanio wasnt necessarily the cheapest but we felt was the best option for our moving needs. Everything was handled flawlessly by a very professional moving team - everything was packaged with care and the movers were courteous and tried to get everything done as quickly as possible. Once everything arrived at our new home the movers unpackaged and assembled all of our belongings, removed the debris and voila! We were now settled in our new home - what a great moving experience! A very highly recommended moving company! Very professional!

Beware! I have used a few moving companies in the past, but wow these guys were so bad. They told me it would cost $2k and it was almost double. Then they charged me for 4 hours of driving and lunch time which they said was common.Whats most painful is that they didnt give me the new estimate until all my furniture was already loaded in their truck. So they had all the power.Id really be careful with these guys. I randomly had two neighbors in my new building who their boxes and had similar feedback.

Scanio moved us out of our residence, kept our belongings in storage for 9 months, then moved us into our new home. The process went very smoothly all the way through.We had the same team for both moves led by Boris assisted by Silvu. Their whole team was both very fast, very careful with our furniture and very respectful of their surroundings (wearing shoe covers inside, attentive to not scratching the walls, etc..). On top of this, both Boris and Silvu are very pleasant and seem genuinely concerned with our precious stuff, so kudos to them!Storage was apparently very good because everything was returned to us as it was when it left without any smell or trace of humidity.In summary, I highly recommend Scanio both for moving and for storage (By the way, it was barely more expensive than the other movers we had contacted).

We used Scanio Moving and storage to move from our home in Closter, NJ to Cresskill, NJ. We received several estimates and although Scanio was not the cheapest we definitely felt the most comfortable with them. They were extremely professional from start to finish and had everything done within less than a day. The move was not far but everything was handled with extreme care especially some of our antique furniture. Overall we extremely happy with the service we received and would highly recommend Scanio Moving and Storage to any of our friends or family.

What a terrific moving experience! We hired Scanio Moving and Storage because they were a notch above the rest. We felt that the type of service we were going to get was going to be a leg up from other moving companies we received quotes from. We knew they were going to be a bit more expensive, but when you own things you actually care about and would like they to move in one piece from one place to another paying a little extra doesnt really matter - you get what you pay for... and indeed we did. Everybody was EXTREMELY professional and courteous. All of our items were packed very carefully and the move went by without a hitch - I can only say good things about our experience and would highly recommend Scanio Moving to anybody looking for a high quality moving company which actually cares about its customers moving experience!

A terrible mover. Underpays the men who break their backs and tells them they will make up for wages with client tips. Was bullied into a $4,000 tip on our move. When did it become the owners job to demand a certain tip? After an overwhelming 300 plus items came out of storage, I noticed I was missing three important boxes in which I could positively identify items, including a defibrillator. You know when you are missing one! Nir refused my claim which I found totally unacceptable given scope of move. Is he not bonded and insured? I was never advised by Nir to buy additional insurance for missing boxes. I would not recommend Scanio. There must be a honest mover in NYC. It is not Scanio

Honestly... the BEST moving experience I have ever had. It was so seamless moving from the Upper West Side of Manhattan to Closter, NJ. Scanio Moving did a phenomenal job from start to finish.We received a warm recommendation from our real estate broker and Nir Shuminer, on of the nicer people I have met provided us with a very precise no BS estimate. It was a tad pricier than what we originally hoped for, but you get what you pay for.The moved was handled in a very professional manner - the movers were on time. They were respectful of our belongings and everything was packed very carefully. Large items were professionally wrapped, padded and carried carefully. Everything was just great.The same applies for the drop-off. Everything was placed where it was supposed to, no complaints, no surprises, no damage - just smooth sailing from start to finish.I didnt mind paying a little extra knowing that I would get my price jacked up and my stuff held hostage. We paid what we had to pay and the movers received a very nice tip due to their hard work, professionalism and courteous behavior towards myself and my family.Highly recommended mover, if youre looking for experienced professionals, no surprises or mishaps!

Scanio placed my belongings in storage for five years, and when I had them shipped to me, the items were returned moldy and broken. Even the Scanio movers who transported them from storage could not believe it and said to sue.Scanio refused to do anything about it - the president delayed addressing the issue and used excuses.Scanio charges more and the client gets less. Not a good and honest business.
