And extra $2 discount if youre bringing back your vintage grape bag.They also have a lot of liquors and nice champagne. Staff is very friendly and always helpful

It is Sunday. I was choosing my wine when I got a call from work. When I got to the register I had to wait for the cashier to finish sending her text. Once she was done I paid my purchase and the woman had no consideration to help me out to grab the plastic bag while I was dealing on the phone with a professional call. Despite making her understand that I was holding my phone and could not grab the plastic bag, she made me wrong out loud front of every body because I was making her a gentle sign that i could not grab the bag.It is not the first time. These ladies or the owner need to understand that cashiers cannot be on their cell phone or reading the New York Post while working but hopefully during and only during their brake time?!...Whos the boss and whos the costumer?!I would love to give a 5 stars but it is not only about the product I find but the people working as well. there are 4 liquor stores around that same block. I can chose at any moment to go somewhere else. Hopefully the owner will make a difference.

Nice selection

Very, very disappointed in all the sales staff attitudes including cashiers. No one is friendly or readily helpful either when entering or leaving! Seems like you are bothersome by going in to shop. I asked for a particular white wine I enjoy and was laughed at; “ we haven’t carried that in years!” How am I to know their stock inventory. Upon check out the cashiers don’t even look at you or comment other than what you owe. Bringing business elsewhere where I’m treated as a customer not an annoyance.Never going back...

Great staff good prices

Okay selection of Oregon wines but wow... All the bottles are super warm. Wine isnt supposed to be stored in a warm environment. Oh well, search continues for a better wine store with great selection of Oregon Pinots.

This is my new favorite wine store. First of all, they deliver! Second of all, their selection, price, and variety is the best that I have encountered in UES (between 76th and 94th at least). Finally, if you get 6+ bottles you get 10% off. And if you bring their green 6 bottle wine tote for your next purchase, you get $2 off. Im pretty much not going to a different wine store ever again.

Im a huge fan of this place because they have every bottle I can imagine. Its been the best thing for my home bar, and they definitely know their wines, too. Best liquor store on UES.

I am updating this review - after this mishap below, the manager called to apologize and had the wines I requested plus several other recommendations on my doorstep. Wine shortage crisis averted and relationship with Vintage Grape mended!This has been my go-to store for YEARS, but sadly that ended tonight. Every month or two I order a case and they keep my order that has been carefully honed in their system. But when I went to order my usual case the two assistant managers not only couldnt help me, they had no idea the store actually did that. I explained it was on a computer system with my account and they could not figure it out. When I explained what I wanted, instead of the usual let me pull together a case for you, the assistant manager could not make a single wine recommendation. Its a wonder he works at a place called vintage grape, especially since I gave a price range, specific type of grape and 6 specific bottles that I wanted.Very disappointing!
