This is a great hardware store. I looked everywhere for a 7/16-20 screw to no avail, and walked in here, and the very helpful staff immediately located the screw and had different lengths and strengths to offer. The service was great and I got what I needed in a very timely fashion. Thank you!

Amazing service at this neighborhood hardware store. We wanted to garden and had trouble finding the right soil in Manhattan, so we decided to check out this local store. They carried some varieties but after speaking to the store associate, she actually helped us order the exact soil we needed directly from her supplier (even though the store doesnt usually carry this item). They also delivered for free to our door. She was so knowledgeable and helpful - the whole experience was amazing! I could not recommend them enough.

They remind me why local shops are so great. I built a planter and ran out of screws, thought about going to Home Depot but swung in here and they had more selection plus better prices.I also struggled looking for soil to put into my planter (surprisingly not an easy thing to find online and ship for free still). I talked to the crew at Warshaw, they ordered it from their distributor and delivered it to my door for free 2 days later.If youre considering a DIY job, looking for some items, or just want to chat then please stop in and see their team first! I am so glad I did and will continue to do so.

This is the model of what a hardware store should be. If you think the stuff should be in a hardware store, its in there. Itll be priced right and the staff will give advice or tell you what shelf if you need. If youre not sure they carry what you seek: call they guys! Theyll pick up the phone and tell you.Youre in, youre out, the staff is right there and knowledgeable and odds are they have what you need. Not sure why youd willing choose to go anywhere else (ie, home depot)

Warshaw Hardware is a haven in the Gramercy Park neighborhood which is full of items ranging from house hold necessities, to hard to find plumbing and electrical parts and nearly everything in between. The staff and owners are particularly knowledgeable with many years of experience amongst them and will help point you in the right direction with projects and problem solving issues you may have. I would definitely recommend visiting and shopping around but remember to do your part and wear a mask! 5/5 stars for sure!

Absolute top hardware store! One stop shop. I have been going to Warsaw for over nine years. They are personable, they are SO knowledgeable and take the time to ask questions so you are purchasing the right merchandise. They are open early and if nothing else during quarantine have been the safety net for our neighborhood as were all overusing our homes. Thank you Warsaw!!

What can you say about a store thats been in business and survived since 1925 except Im not surprised. I was in there yesterday with a lamp that needed rewiring and came away with such a memorable story due to the remarkably friendly and helpful staff in there that Ill be repeating it for years to come!I wouldnt even think of going anywhere else even if I move away from the area. What a gem of a place.

Which is why I am so grateful and happy the Warshaw clan continues to stand firm against the relentless real estate steamroller. Warshaws respect for craft, caring, their nuts and bolts wisdom. The great local hardware store that has the customer service you have always wanted in the city. If youre looking for large amounts of any wall material like lumber, metal, plastic or MDF this is not the place. But for those small pieces of hardware and fix her offers this is a great spot.

For someone like me who is a total failure as a handyman stores like these are a godsend. I recently moved from Kips Bay to Gramercy and found this store to be far superior to Nuthouse on 29th street.The guys in here are very helpful and I have always been able to find what I need or get advice where needed.Now maybe one day I will know what everything in here is for...then again:)

I have been living in the area of this hardware store for almost 22 years this May 2013. I have always found that this particular hardware store not only has everything I have ever needed but the people there are most helpful, friendly and go over the top to provide whatever is needed including advise. I call them and they are always ready to answer questions so I dont have to walk over there to find out if they can help or not yet, in my long term experience they have ALWAYS been able to help me. I highly recommend make a visit to them for all your hardware needs or call them since you may not even be aware that they can help you! I recently broke the plastic towel bar on the old style towel rack which has the holder ends that are cemented to the tile. Not an easy fix. I went online and found a place who sells a retractable replacement bar for $15.00 BUT, I called Warsaw Hardware and not only did they have the same product in stock and cut it to size for me, it was 1/3 the price!!! Can you beat that?
