THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL. When I say they have all your fabric needs-I MEAN IT. The people there are so helpful its like they know all my fabric desires. My cloths are unique and fabulous due to this life changing mart. Just being in the store is enough to get 5stars. Feels like family.

Inexpensive, wide selection of fabrics. I frequent their discount bins outside ($2-$5 per yard) for making toiles.

Lots of silk. Lots of silk on sale. There were several people in this small sho p who were eager to help. Barrels outside had more sale bolts. If you need something very specific you might not find it, but there are loads of choices... if random. Also some basics: muslin, tulle, etc.

The staff who works here was really helpful, fast and professional. I’ll drop by this shop whenever i need fabrics

Nice place! Small but they have lots of stuff. I got a very pretty floral stretch twill for $10/yard. The guy working there was professional and nice.

Amazing prices and great service

I love this place. It is a hole in the wall, but they have most fabrics (felt, cotton, blends, reversible sequin fabric!). They are super helpful and give advice if you want to chat with them about your project. Have come here multiple years in a row for making Halloween costumes.

This place is amazing! If I could have spent more I would have walked out of there with too much to carry. They have some really nice silks for a great price. They dont have huge rolls since they are the end rolls from various clothing manufacturers, but what they do have is nice. They also gave me a great deal on some gorgeous lace. I just wish they had a web site or sold through mail order since we live in Colorado.

This is such a lovely shop for fabric, yarn, embroidery floss, and many other items that will get your creativity going! I feel so inspired just browsing around looking at all the pretty materials, kits and guide books. I recently bought some fabric pieces (for a great price!) and made bandanas for my cat, because I am that girl.

This place is great. Good service, nice selection of silks, and low prices.

Okay, so I ordered a bundle of yarn for a 4 point blanket, and after 2 attempts and running out of yarn I adjusted the pattern which was a total failure. I must say Purl Soho customer service is second to none. They reached out to me and made it right. The yarns are absolutely beautiful, I hope to retry this pattern with additional yarn.

I work in Financial District and wasnt sure where to go for reasonable prices. I fell upon this store in a google search and the positive reviews are accurate. I am very happy with my purchase. I am starting a new project and needed reasonably priced fabric. They have a nice range of prices for quality fabric. ***THING TO KNOW*** they dont have any accessories (zippers, hooks & eye, bias tape, needles, etc); they only carry fabric *****The employee was very helpful during my visit. I will return for my next project, Lords will!

I love coming here for fabric, check out there deals before you come for the week. There is a huge selection of everything. The associates are nice when it comes to cutting the yard you need. The parking next door is free for an hour if you spend $20+ .

Possibly the tiniest gem of a fabric store in existence. I found some incredible deals here (a gorgeous hammered silk for a STEAL!) and the owners were really helpful in trying to find fabrics to match my project.

I didnt have the highest expectations for this shop, but I was amazed when I walked in! They have excellent quality, affordable silks as well as unique prints, brocades, and some textiles I cant even name!The staff are so friendly, and are happy to help you, or cut you a deal if you ask :) I will more than certainly go to them for any of my textile needs!

Actually not cheaper than in average stores and sorted like hell. So much fabrics, that I could barely walk. Overall shop size smaller than my living room. The staff tried to be helpful, but due the overall atmosphere I left very quickly...

Tiny store with LOTS of fabric! They used to be on the corner, but moved not too long ago. Currently they keep the marked down fabrics outside.

I nhave never written a review here but I will say that they are the most fun and helpful group ever... people say new yorkers are mean well these people arent among the. A very quirky fashionable lady is always there with a compliment and a smile then there is the very handsome latino guy who is very helpful when it comes to carrying things and finding fabric LOL and there is the owner guy I think? he was awesome and came down on prices a little bit for me.Whenever I am in NYC I will always make it a point to stop in and say hello to them =)
