READ MY EXPERIENCE BEFORE CONSIGN!Will never use this app again. I sent my authentic leather handbag for quotes request online, and they responded me with a buyout request. Then I sent my handbag to their authentication team. Here’s the ridiculous thing: the team said my item does not match with the descriptions and photos that I submitted, which was absolutely a lie. I took as many photos as I can, showing all angels of this handbag, outside wear-outs and interior wear-outs, including the defects on corner leathers, scratches on handle leather, discoloration on hardware, the brand tag, with no retouch of the photos at all. The photos are all very clear in quality. They now requested me to pay for a $125 authentication fee, and will not ship back my item if I don’t do so. They had never mentioned this fee before I sent out the item!!!I’m absolutely disappointed with this company and will let my friends be aware of their carelessness and their insincere. I am questioning if they’re making fees through this way too….. if they did not intentionally making this ridiculous thing happen, then I would say the team responsible for the buyout quote DID NOT carefully view all my photos submitted.

I wont sell here again.Sent my item in three weeks ago. I asked specifically at the desk what options for payment there were, and requested for a direct deposit since Im certain it was faster. I was told to adjust the payment option online - okay, I try this and its only letting me select under my account for any future sold items? I call back and get a yes of course it cant be changed sorry. Its now been 3 weeks to the day and I havent been paid. Im told the check is on the way multiple times, its impossible to get in contact with anyone, the last woman just rudely hung up on me. Delays are fine, but be consistent - when I dropped my item off I was told 4 days, then 3-5 business days, then two weeks?? First and only experience, not recommended.

I bought a bag for over $2.5k. I opened it, and spotted it not authenticate. I sent back right away with everything it came with for a refund , and I was told the item is not eligible for a refund BUT they would buy it back for a thousand dollars less. Thats how you make a profit- By selling questionable handbags and reject the return request? If you were so confident about the authenticity of your items, why cant i get a full refund?? Frustrating experience. Do not recommend.

You cant return because you cant get someone on the phone.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!I sent my authentic Gucci items to them over a month ago via Neiman Marcus. They still have not paid me and I waited over 3 hours on hold to speak with someone but they never picked up. I thought that if they were affiliated with Neiman Marcus they could be trusted. I may have to forward a complaint to the BBB.

Ive been buying and consigning from Fashionphile for years. The items are always in amazing condition and Ive gotten such great deals on the pricing. For the people who complain about being unable to return items because the tags were already snipped off clearly didnt read the tags. It clearly states that if you cut them off, its yours. BASIC instructions people...BASIC!In my opinion, their items are in the best condition compared to The Real Real and Yoogis Closet. Every flaw is disclosed...pretty much what you see is what you get (for me at least). Plus theyve never had any issues with authenticity like other online consignment shops so Ive been buying from them with confidence.

MISSING A $6,000 BAG I SENT TO THEM. It has been 10 days and counting and I havent gotten any update regarding my item. I have been emailing everyday and all I got was an AUTOREPLY Phone calls PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR OR MORE Fashionphile is a really big store and this must be a regular item for them but it is a lot of money for us. Im just hoping someone would be able to read my review and somehow address my concern, any kind of help or NOT AN AUTO REPLY would matter. Please reach me at kikonkiko at gmail dot com, Im still hoping they find my bag or get my money. Thanks again.

I have been trying to contact customer service for days. I waited 1.5 hours for an agent when I was told am hour wait tops. Their digital agents are also unresponsive. My issue remains unresolved with the callback option also failed. I dont know why they think this is ok, but they lost a client in me.

Their items are sometimes decent and fair/good pricing, but I was quoted for a chanel bag(reissue) so low, even though it was purchased from them in Excellent condition a couple yrs back and never used it! Makes me think I was scammed and overpaid for the item significantly (what was double at the time), especially with prices of chanel rising so significantly each year and reissues a costing almost 7k. I wouldnt buy anything from them unless they have it for 30% off or more; the mark-up for many items is not justifiable and you can get better deals elsewhere.

As a consignor I brought in several designer handbags into the NYC location and they purchased them from me at very fair prices. In addition, they pay you right away (the money is in your bank account) within 3 days. This process is very seamless compared to other consignment companies. I also purchased a handbag for my Mothet (which she loved). They also have a buy back program within a certain timeframe. I would definitely use them again to consign and purchase (they have beautiful handbags).

I have bought two designer bags off their website and each time it was so easy and saved my tons of money!I love the layaway option and the detailed inspection notes that make me so much more confident when buying a used bag online! They each shipped super fast. My only thing to share is to remember you will have to pay customs on the bag fee which can really add up to the cost of buying it new in your own country!

I have been a customer of Fashionphile for several years, both selling and buying. I made an appointment at the New York office and unfortunately the receptionist made an error booking my appointment. I showed up on Thursday but the appointment was for Wednesday. The NY office could care less that I drove from NJ and would do nothing to accommodate me. I was also told that they called and left a voicemail for the appointment confirmation but they absolutely did not! Terrible customer service. Will never deal with them again and my Givenchy Antigona will be pleased to be staying with me!

I bought a 2k Louis Vuitton bag - came with box and dust bag. I opened the LV box only to find it EMPTY. Via their claims department, I have to wait until 4/14 to even follow up with them so UPS can do their “investigation.” This is an issue between Fashionphile and UPS. Send me a new one while you figure out why items are being stolen.Certainly not a good look for a retailer, especially one selling high-end items. This wouldn’t happen with The RealReal...

THE WORST PLACE TO BUY ANYTHING. MISLEADING LISTING, BAD CONDITION OF THE ITEM THAT WAS NOT DISCLOSED IN THEIR LISTING. WHEN I RECEIVED IT WAS REALLY BAD. SENT IT BACK THE SAME DAY...THEY RECEIVED IT AND REFUNDED MY MONEY MINUS 10% THEIR RESTOCKING FEE.....REALLY? SO THEY ILLEGAL KEPT $600 FROM ME SAYING THAT THIS IS THEIR POLICY AND I SHOULD HAVE READ IT BEFORE I PURCHASED IT. WELL WHEN YOU LIST AN ITEM AND BLATANTLY YOU LIE ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THAT ITEM , OF COURSE PEOPLE WILL RETURN IT UNHAPPY AND YOU DONT CARE CAUSE YOU KEEP $600 FROM THEIR MONEY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST. THEY ARE RUDE, UNHELPFUL AND HANG UP THE PHONE IN YOUR FACE

Purse scalpers with zero customer service. Buy a purse on their website and theyll sit on your order for several days before demanding that you call their call center (and then no one answers). They hoard purses for no apparent reason. Maybe theyre renting them out on the side? Cannot fathom how these people stay in business with such wretched, rude staff and lousy prices and nonexistent fulfillment.

Updated from 1 to 2 stars after they finally allowed me to return the item, no apologies though.—I will start by saying that I’ve been a buyer and seller here since 2017. I placed an order to be delivered to their NYC showroom to be picked up. Right after the tracking number shows delivered, I showed COVID symptoms and was unable to come pick up the item. Fashionphile said they’d do a courtesy hold for me and that I did not need an appointment to come in. When I came in to pick it up, I asked to check the item before picking it up and decided to not pick it up. The rep said I was 1 day past the return window. So, due to an extenuating circumstance such as being sick and not allowed to come in any store, not just theirs, I did mention with them, they arranged for the pickup such that the first time I see the item is the day I had no chance to return it. They blamed it on me saying that I was supposed to come in earlier on a specific day to pick it up, yet they could not produce any evidence of me scheduling an appointment to come in on that day (exactly because they said I could come in ANYTIME with no appointment). How was I supposed to know, without an email confirmation for an appointment on that date at that time, that I was expected to come in that day when they said since its a pickup I could come in any time? I’m profoundly disappointed in the way they treat their long term customer, especially when I have spent close to $50k there over the years, vouch for them with my friends, etc. Fashionphile CEO, I hope you could train your employees to be more sympathetic and flexible, especially when times and plans are made uncertain by things like COVID. They asked me why I did not tell them I couldn’t come pick it up—I mean, apologies but when you’re sick with COVID the last thing you think about is your online shopping orders...?! It makes me angry to think I was 1 day past the return window when I could come in after having to quarantine, and they found every excuse in the book that implies I should have contacted them when I was sick and unsure if I could make it...? If they’re so worried about losing out on potential buyers while holding my item for me, why didn’t they just follow a clear policy that they’d cancel an order if I took too long to pick up? I can’t bring myself to do business with people who treat me like this, so will be buying and reselling my luxury items to other consignment stores in NYC. Buyers beware

I sent them my purse, it’s long been sold, and they refuse to pay me. Their system logs every address you’ve ever had and they mailed the check to the wrong address. Their customer service rep (Corbin) seems to be a fake alias since he doesn’t exists on LinkedIn or in any records. After many back and forth emails they still won’t mail me a check siting they are unsure of where I live (even though I’ve had three bags shipped to me at this address). I’m so disappointed in the way they’re handled this matter and the disrespect they have for customers. I will never shop here again or refer any more of my friends. Furthermore I’ve had to escalate the issue just to get paid for a bag I sent them. It’s basically robbery at this point. I still havent recieved a check or even confirmation its been mailed. Do not sell your stuff to them!!!

I made my first purchase of a Prada bag in perfect condition (and almost at retail price) a few months ago. Within 1 week, 3 pieces of hardware fell off. I contacted the Fashionphile and they were completely unwilling to do anything since the tags were off - even though the bag was worn only a few times and fell apart. They suggested I bring the bag to Prada, which I did and $200 dollars and 10 weeks later, the bag was fixed. Fashionphile is refusing to cover the charge. HORRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. Buyer beware!
