Total has a large selection of hair for braiding, weaving, and crochet. I had been unable to find 4C crochet hair at other retailers, but found a huge stock here. The sales staff are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. As other reviewers have mentioned they do have a rigid exchange/return policy so be sure about your purchase before checking out. And check out the wigs downstairs, as there are always really good sales.

This store has a variety of wigs and products. You name it, they have it. The one that I purchased was overpriced. One woman was rude and more concerned with following me around the store than actually helping me. She had to ask her co worker if he would help me or if she should do so. Obviously she lacks customer service skills and needs some training.

Feel free to take off your mask when you go to Total 125. No one is going to ask you to put it on. It’s very inconsiderate and unsafe to allow customers to shop without a mask in sight and to allow other customers to shop and talk with a mask on their chin only. Will not be shopping here during COVID.

Total 125 Beauty Supply in my opinion, is one of the best beauty stores around Harlem. It has almost everything that I need when I go there, from shampoos to make-up and nail polish and a whole section downstairs for wigs! All the employees are friendly and they help you if you need help. The setup of the store is good so if you are finding something, you can easily find it without any help. If you are going by car, just watch out and dont go past the store because there is a tree blocking half of the store sign and you might go past it. If you are looking for a beauty store to go I prefer here.

I needed 2 different lengths of hair but mistakenly purchased same length. Literally went back 10 minutes later to correct and exchange 1 pack for longer length but they didnt have it. So I ended up going with different brand that I dont like as much for less money. They would not give me the difference back. I understand they have an exchange only policy but they could have given me a refund for the difference if they wanted to. I have been buying hair and products from them for years. Thats not a way to treat repeat customers. So now I will go back to spend my credit but after that I will walk to hell to get hair stuff before I give them another dime.

The wig lady was so nice and even tho I came right when they were about to close, she didn’t rush me at all. They have most things. Customer service has been on fleek so far. This has become my GO TO store for hair stuff.

Clean and big. But I wont be charged 4 bucks for a cap that is 2 dollars in a more expensive neighborhood

The workers are friendly and they are always there too help you with any product you need and they give free hair samples love it there
