Crowded and dirty, floors are wet, have to be careful walking and browsing inside this market, wear non-slipped rubber shoes, mask on and disposable gloves. Dont linger inside, check-out as soon you got all you need to buy for your safety.

Largish Asian supermarket located in Chinatown.the supermarket is relatively. shelves are packed with different prepackaged Asian ingredients and household goods. there is fresh produce and meat/seafood sections.it can be hard to find things in the store bc the store itself is not well organized. it took way too long to find something i was looking for bc the staff i spoke to didn’t know where it was…eventually it was found after a while, but still folks who work there should know where they are stocking things.prices are competitive with other supermarkets in the area.checkout is fast. for some reason, they use swipe and not the smart chips on your credit or debit cards which seemed strange to me.

Always crowded, and hard to keep clean! Get here at 7:30 am for freshly caught fish! I go here for the Roast Pork. The butcher lets you pick what you want if you can articulate this to him in Cantonese. They also carry cooking supplies, Chinese groceries, and staple goods! You have to know your stuff to buy vegetables.

Ive been going here since this market opened years ago and each year, they seem to have improved little by little with store renovations. Currently during the pandemic, they were one of the first markets in the Chinatown area to have put up acrylic glasses for each cashier. They also a security guard at all hours of the day, making sure every one who enters is wearing a mask and being protected. The only con is that, they never seem to update the dry/pantry goods areas. Things are a little cluttered and sometimes hard to find items.

A bustling supermarket with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats in Manhattans Chinatown. The prices here are very reasonable (especially for Manhattan) and the selection is great - nearly any fruit or vegetable that is in season you can find here. The market is usually crowded during the day, so if you dont like crowds try to go in the morning. Overall, considering the price and selection, I would recommend shopping here for fresh goods in Manhattans Chinatown.

I LOVE this place, (aka, I Fresh) and the prices are the BEST! My Mandarin/Cantonese isnt good enough to ask the employees questions about items, inventory, ingredients, etc. That said, I believe that they need some staff that can communicate in the English language. The produce cant be beat! Huge selection of fresh seafood and they have meats and a butcher. They even have a reduced table in the back of the produce section. Good selection of teas, nuts, dried items, condiments, noodles. Fresh Peking Duck. Large amount of frozen goods. Best prices for Tofu!

New York Mart is a great place for my grocery shopping. Its a one stop stop for fish, vegetables, and cooking condiments. The fish is generally very fresh. The vegetable selection is generally seasonal. There is a bakery section and cooked Chinese meats in the store. I dont buy my raw meats here, instead I go to another nearby store for that.

I love this place! Great produce, seafood, fruits, and meats in this traditionally Chinese grocery store. Located in Chinatown, this is basically a Chinese supermarket for ethnic Chinese people. There are fresh seafood, fresh produce, canned stuff, ftesh meats, and even what would be considered deli section in American supermarkets. They accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and EBT cards (food assistance cards). Its also a good size too. Its in Manhattan, so parking is basically nonexistent. People there generally do not speak English, so unless you understand Cantonese, shopping there might be hard for you. Its always busy and packed every time I go.
