They replaced the strings on my guitar, cleaned it and tuned it, and only charged me for the cost of the strings which was less than $5. Definitely would recommend it.

The guys here are pretty intense, but in a good way, and if they dont have what youre after, theyll tell you when to check back. Musicians will like this place

We absolutely love this place! They helped my wife buy me a surprise guitar over 10 years ago. They helped us buy a thirteen-year-old an awesome keyboard surprise. Everyone you talk to is very friendly and helpful and works with you.Tonight we went to our second event at their Listening Room in the back which was a 65th birthday party for a great friend who takes guitar and voice lessons and plays in a band. Amazing group of people, we enjoyed every minute of our time there.These people do not care your level of ability, they work with you and help you reach your goals. Theyre an amazing group of people ! ! !

My kids and I have taken lessons here for years. Reasonably priced, instructors are highly professional but also caring and willing to go at a pace appropriate for the student. Malinda, Scott, Liz, Brandon, and Christi are awesome teachers! The retail store has a great selection of guitars & other instruments. Knowledgeable staff (Corey is great!) will help you find the right instrument for your skill level & budget.

I have taken music lessons (drums) for some time here and rave about their program. The way the school was designed with things like sound insulation, creative colors and individual private rooms is near perfect. Above all the schools events are fun for many students, especially the twice a year student band gigs. Schools organization is good and although each teacher is different, many are highly educated and care about teaching in my experience. The staff is very friendly and passionate about their gear. They got some rather high end things that you would not find elsewhere. Now they just added a Performance Venue with more workshops and places for local talent to practice. Cant wait for student concerts in there! Very cool place I hope they continue on.

The old and new owners are awesome. They really care and you know from the start. The teachers are awesome. Melinda and Brandon rock. We have 3 people in lessons each week and it is just a great place to hang. The performance room is really nice.

I cannot express the appreciation i have for this location. the actual store is a treasure trove of music. from a nice used/consignment and new there is a nice range of instruments. the accessories and pedals are awesome in variety and quality.to top it off Chris is a luthier and kind soul who can eduacate and explain how & why things work or dont.you will enjoy your time spent here.I will continue to take all my guitar mods & repairs to Chris.

Great music education facility. Instrument selection has gone down hill in a very bad way post ownership change. Miss Larry and family. The new staff does not know very much about the instruments they sell. Great location for lessons and a Martin guitar. Performance facility is also good. Just don’t go looking for a new electric or accoustic guitar. Otherwise great store.

We love World Music!!! This is a great place to have your guitar worked on and the lessons are amazing!!! The fall and spring rock band performances are really cool to watch. Ill buy all my gear from this place because they are so helpful.

This place has been here for a long time; maybe early 00s? From memory, it used to be bigger with a strong guitar focus. Over the years they expanded next door and opened up a music school (I dont have any experience with them) and expanded their instrumental offerings, but seem have downsized the actual store. I guess it makes sense with GC and online sellers taking over. What they have shifted towards though is providing a welcoming and mellow ecosystem for the guitarist, keyboard/piano player to come by and pickup all the accessories and necessities for playing, taking care of your instrument, or finding new tones (pretty good selection of the popular pedal brands like Earthquaker, JHS, and the other standards that are currently popular) that can be a pain to order offline or need to be tested in person. Theyve got an awesome tech that does solid work and the other staff is super helpful and not pushy. Theres a small selection of amps and guitars (electric and acoustic) and, keyboards (pretty sure) but wont be your main spot to come by and mess around with all the different brand offerings. World music is a great place and your best optionthis side of town. Worth a visit for sure.

One of the best places in town to get a great deal on musical instruments. They are also very well known for there school. They offer tailored lessons to each and every individual at a reasonable price.

Went in here to get supplies for my 5th grader playing the classical bass. The employees were helpful and polite, addressing my son as the customer.

I chose World Music to have a guitar of mine set up and to have some new tuners put on. I called first and asked some general priceing questions and inquired on turnaround time for the job. Took the guitar in and had awesome service. Stepped out for lunch and received a call that my guitar was ready to be picked up. Awesome turnaround time! And the guitar sounds and feels great after the set up.

Super nice staff and good selection of intruments. Much nicer than the place where they give you a visual pat down.

Great staff, was looking for a certain type of capo and they did not have it in stock, when the sales associate found the type of capo online he called me and said he could get the for me. Above and beyond his duties. Great place with great staff

They are a good group of people who give good lessons and sell high quality products, HOWEVER do not get your instruments repaired here. They have a new guitar tech who just cost me a thousand dollar guitar because he didnt know anything about why fret buzz occurs. And now I have a guitar that I cant even play without it making buzz.

Been here several times now and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair as well. Not overpriced like a lot of the music stores around Nashville. Check them out.

Our music teacher is never on time & she always makes snide remarks about our child. My husband says to dismiss it bc thts her style but I find it so insulting & bothering its hard not to tell her off.

Ive been here many times, mostly to kill time because I have to beg for service when Im in there. Today when I was the only guy in the store, I asked a salesperson , Is anyone going to ask me if i need anything? He helped a little, but when we were in the middle of a discussion, he overheard other employees talking and ignored me, so I walked out because his discussion of what inventory they need was more important than me apparently. I got a guitar setup here 2 years ago and when I changed strings, I found that they set up the guitar with the wrong size strings. Not getting any service at all without looking at a guy straight in the eyes and asking for it, well Im writing this review from the parking lot because Im that shocked how this just went and out of three employees, I wasnt worth anything to any of them. I buy A LOT of music gear and Im a working musician, but I wont be using them for anything. There is FAR too much competition in Nashville to bother unless you live close and need something easy. Its sad when Guitar Center gives me more attention than this place because I prefer independent dealers if possible. Avoid if you care about real service.
