I moved to Nashville about a month ago. My Hammond C2 was damaged by movers and my Leslie connector was shattered. The first call I made was to Nashville Pro Sound in early October based on the great reviews. I was told by Murph that it was a $180 house call and that he was booked thru mid-December. I asked to make an appointment in late December/early January. I was told he was on a service call and couldn’t make the appointment. I was then told to text him my info and he’d call back later. I did, no call. I called three times over the next week. His voicemail has been full so I haven’t been able to leave a voicemail. I finally got a call back two days ago out of nowhere while I was at dinner. I called back immediately after excusing myself from the table and again no answer. Just tried calling again today and no answer. Unprofessional and disappointing.

Not only is Murph the best in the biz, he is a stand up guy. Only reason I gave him a 5 star review is because they dont offer 6. Ive been doing business with Nashville Pro Hammond (not Sound) for well over a decade. He repaired and maintained my 1952 Hammond B2 for many years, until he offered do a complete rebuild on a 68 B3 for me this year. (And Im talking a complete rebuild from the ground up!) Its absolutely beautiful, and screams! The Leslie amp he built is rock solid for the road and the organ sounds better than any ive ever heard. I play for Maren Morris, and get comments on how good it sounds all the time. Hes the man. I cannot recommend him more highly. If youre serious about having your gear sound amazing, call him. Yes, hes busy....cuz everyone knows hes THE guy. Anytime Im at his shop theres at least 10 organs, Leslies, a handful of rhodes and wurlys hes working on...among other things. Trust me...Hes dependable, and reliable. If you want it done right, wait for him to be available.
