Beautiful wall mounted Dellway Villa Road

This location is 2 for 2 in being a major disappointment. Had a 7:30am pickup scheduled (2 weeks in advance), but apparently they never staged the truck. The location didnt open until 9am, so there was no one around to resolve the issue. I had to wait on hold with customer service for 36 minutes, and eventually was sent to another location 20 minutes away (40 minute round-trip). Then, I couldnt return the u-haul at the desired location, so had to drive another 40 minutes round-trip after a grueling day of moving.

Smelled like weed. Took me almost one hour to get my Uhaul. Had to teach the sales associate how to turn the computer on and off again and the entire store is in a storage container. DO NOT GO THERE. PLEASE FIND SOME PLACE ELSE TO GET YOUR UHAUL. PLEASE.

I met Arondae the local uhaul dealer and he was awesome! He was having issues with the computer not working. I could see the screen and it was completely frozen. So we just hung out while he figured out another solution. He was able to get it done on his iPhone instead. He was able to get me out quicker by creating a solution rather than just giving up and waiting for the computer to unfreeze. It was one of the best Uhaul experiences that I have had! Unbelievably bad experience. Worker was 30 min late to opening, service was crazy slow and they were out of almost everything (dollies, etc)

After renting two trucks here I really cant recommend you use this location if another is available. However they do have business hours on Sunday so they get some credit for that. Many other places do not. Of note the building is no longer there it was damaged in the March 2020 tornado. Theyre working from a mobile office on site. The lot is very crowded and it can be hard to find a place to park your personal vehicle. Id recommend being dropped off if at all possible. The employees were ok not rude but very busy and not helpful either. Covid masks are not always worn and not enforced.On the weekends theyre just incredibly busy. On my last rental we stood in line for nearly an hour waiting to be processed and finally drove off the lot an hour and a half after scheduled pickup. To the positive the trucks were clean and in working order.

Maurice and the crew were great! Very attentive and made moving on New Years Day a little less of a beating!

Had a great experience. Im not sure what happened to the building, but the staff was efficient and got me taken care of for pickup and drop off. Ill be back the next time I need a trailer. Thank you!

Build an actual store. This location is a travesty and looks like a prison. Its also obscenely negligent to have multiple people working in a tiny shipping box of an office during a pandemic, let alone to ask customers to go there. The men working there were helpful and professional, but this is the worst U-haul location Ive ever been in. It speaks to very poor management by the upper level of U-haul and diarespect for their customers and staff.

Except for having no DOLLIE and BLANKETS for my furniture everything was Ok

Guys werent the best vocal customer service reps but they handle business great. This Uhaul location has always been my favorite one because of the history. My family has used them for years,, i couldnt imagine them not being there. As far as the pulling in leaving out? That corner is jacked up on all angles period. So just use a little patience and you should be fine.

I have moved several times in Nashville, and the service at the N 1st location has always been amazing, even when they are super packed or even when someone makes a mistake.I originally had a reservation for a truck at 3:30pm and needed it changed to 5:30pm and it was extremely easy to change. They were so busy when I picked up the truck that they forgot to put the dolly in my truck. So they took off the mileage for the drive back and didnt charge me for the dolly.I dont mind if people make mistakes because they are swamped, but the timely and professional way that they handled the issues were really commendable. So 5 stars from me!

Two months after renting a trailer for a day, was charged nearly $2000 for relocation during 60 days of use. Currently trying to get it fixed, BEWARE.

They continue to try to charge my card for a truck that a returned after 4 hours of use. They are claiming i used it for 8 days and keep putting blocks on my card because of it. They told me i could simply leave my keys inside the truck and park it on the lot if i came back after hours, which i did. Had i known they would try to trip me off for a whole week of use i would have never just parked it and made sure i delivered my keys to someone in person. what a joke!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service! Trailer was what we reserved and worked well but their customer service at pick up and drop off is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Do be cautious if you are getting a large trailer or truck as the entry/exit and parking lot can be very difficult to get through.

We rented a 26 truck for moving. This was the only location in Nashville that had the size truck we needed available at the time we needed. The employees were helpful and easy to work with.I am only giving 3 stars because of the parking lot. The location is great with quick and easy access to the interstate, but the parking lot is a complete mess. When we went to pick up the truck, my wife dropped me off and waited for me outside. She had to move her car a few times in the 10 minutes we were there because there was no where for her to park and the only entrance was where others returning trucks were trying to pull in. Returning the truck was just as chaotic as I pulled in and there was a car blocking the return line trying to turn around, so I was blocked from pulling completely into the lot. During this time, 3 other trucks were backed up on the street waiting to turn left into the lot.I would have no problems recommending this location if they fixed the parking lot issues.

The staff was nice but the manager charged me extra miles because I had to bring back a truck that was infested with roaches. I rented a truck only for a few hours to move some items and when I got home, I opened the back of the truck and roaches were running everywhere. I refused to put anything in that truck and I took it back to the store. After looking at all of the roaches, they gave me another truck and said I had to pay for mileage on both trucks and I explained that if the roaches were not in the truck, then I would not have had to come back and swap the trucks. So I was charged for an extra 10 miles on a roach infested truck. They don’t ever have to worry about me, because I will not ever use uhaul again!!!!

Courteous staff, knowledgeable. Originally had reservation with 8th & Wedgwood U-haul, but they were so rude we canceled and found another location. So glad we did!

What a cluster!There is only 1 entry/exit point for the entire location, which has every available trailer under the sun, no less than 30, all crammed into one tiny location.There was a line of cars waiting in the street to pull in, once we got in there the customers and 2 employees were frantically moving trucks/trailors around trying to get ppl in/outThe 2 employees were on point though, no complaints about them. The location is just ridiculous

I was excited to rent a truck for my plant sale at the farmers market. After reserving one online for the Davidson Farmers Coop, I went to pick it up and it was not there.I was told that I could pick one up at the N. 1st Uhaul and they called to transfer the reservation. When I arrived the cashier, at first, said that she couldnt find my reservation only to dig deeper to find it. She then was going to charge me a higher price than the coop and scam me on the $10 insurance that is usually covered through personal car insurance.Just before I pressed the accept button on the credit card machine another co-worker said that I couldnt pick up the truck I reserved two days ago until 1:00PM. I said that I just wanted to cancel the transaction telling them that I had reserved the truck two days ago from the Coop and it wasnt there. Without trying to work with me and figure out the situation, they went ahead and canceled the transaction. I asked to talk to Mark the person who transferred the reservation and they didnt know who he was. No truck, no plant sale, do not collect $200.00.Uhaul should work on their logisitics. If you cant really reserve a vehicle online or over the phone, dont offer that service.

My roomate and I were wrongfully charged $56 extra. They claimed that the fuel gauge was at 3/4 when we filled it up RIGHT across the street before dropping it off. In addition, we also got charged a cleaning fee because we did not fold the blankets. I have used uhaul over 10x and have never been charged for something as outrageous as this. They are just trying to tack on as many extra charges as they can. I could understand if something was legitimately spilled in the truck or something of that nature.. but folding two blankets...? Get real. I would stay away from using this Uhaul location.

Do not return to this location. Dangerous, inattentive employees had me unload their trailer in the busy street. I am very disappointed. Also, dont rent here.

Upon renting a truck and trailer, I had realized the workers had incorrectly filled in my name and address in the contract with what I believe I was a filtered name.After spending 45 minutes waiting for customer service I was told they would not change the information because the account was closed.Very disappointing experience.

Very cheap, prompt service, clean trucks.

There was nobody on the site when we got there, and we had to wait 40 minutes before an employee got ddopped off and clocked in. Where the other workers were, who knows.

This U-Haul location provided false information about a rental, They are understaffed as another reviewer has mentioned, & I would strongly suggest that this location be re-staffed and better educated about what they can & cant rent & until then I will not be using their services again.
