Love this place! & Love South Nashville!I like it they have lots of spices and nuts and dried legumes & rice and honey.They also have some produce that is local and beautiful like small eggplant,okra and cucumbers and tomatoes. I love Nolensville Road because we have any type of international grocery store you could look for.

My favourite store to shop at, they have best products in the town, their meats are so fresh and REAL HALAL. Right now the New Owner of the store is KURDISH he really takes good care of those store. The been changed about 80% of you compared to a few years ago. I’m so happy HE made the Store so much better. Their sweets are homemade, and tastes so delicious and absolutely beautiful shapes. They bring fresh vegetables and fruits weekly. Thank you so much for your hard works at the store . My family and I are so satisfied to shop at your Market.

We LOVE the baklava, and my husband LOVES the fresh bread, we always come out of here with a lot of goodies. The kids like going and picking new stuff to try as well. Friendly staff.

They are stocked with an enormous amount of international goods that are mainly fresh; however, just like any other establishments like this you always have to be aware of expiration dates. If youre not looking to shop for food items, they offer a variety of home goods such as tea cups, kettles, pots and pans, skewers and much more. They offer halal meat (beef, chicken, lamb). The daily fresh baked bread keeps me a regular customer.

Ive been to the Middle East and like the foods. The Egyptian tea I purchased didnt reflect the numerals I learned. I wanted some sucra but I dont read Arabic. Whats the secret ingredient in the fuul? Do you not have authentic Turkish coffee? Are you new to the area? I think the kettle was pure gold? Nice variety!

They dont mind selling expired goods to people. Big NO NO. Also, the prices have been creeping up in the past year with a more limited selection. Is this the end of Sulav?Also do not eat their shawarma. I have gotten food poisoning

This place is really friendly and has kind staff that will walk you through your needs. The best grocery store in Nashville! They serve shawarma wraps and it’s really delicious and pretty cheap. They also have a Deli department that have fresh HALAL meat unlike other stores in the area. The meat is a little more costly but it’s worth it because it is truly slaughtered the halal way and it’s always fresh. I have been visiting here the past year and I’m always thankful for them. Thank you!

Wonderful store fair price and a lot better than other international store, they are clean and honest. Their Ramadan sweets is super delicious.

Me and my husband find out about this market and restaurant in a funny way. We were eating at one of our favorite places when we look at their card and on their map was a Kabob place marked. We havent seen it. I start looking for it and its because it is part of the market. Today we have lunch there it was Amazing I had the kozy which is a piece of steam lamb that was so tender the meat fells of the bone (it remind me of the barbacoa we eat in Mexico), my husband had the kebob 😋😋😋. The service was great, the waitress was very nice and helpful. Im sure its going to become one of our regular places.

Ive been coming here for years and I cant believe I just now thought of giving them the praise they deserve online. Their shawarma is my favorite sandwich in Nashville! You can choose chicken or beef, then they put it on their delicious homemade bread, put all the toppings and veggies and sauce you want, then press it and make it hot and crispy. Perfection. While youre waiting, you can browse the aisles for some groceries and yummy treats. Plus, the man who makes the sandwiches is my favorite person ever. Definitely check them out!

The shawarma is freaking amazing. What a find. We also had the baklava and it was amazing.

They claimed it was fresh deserts and charged me $7 but then I could only take one bite because it was so nasty and old. I walked right back in the store and handed back to them to trash it. They maybe put back to be sold again.l and of course no refund was offered. Never going back there again. There are many better stores around.

I loved the shawarmas we used to get here. I have seen that they have a butchery there and recommended this place to a friend to buy lamb. The service received during COVID time was terrible. No staff at the store wore masks or bothering to keep distance. All the customers were wearing masks. My friend who was at the meat section trying to buy meat was asked by the staff to take his mask off by the staff when he was speaking. When my friend refused to take off his mask the staff assisting him said rudely he cant hear him and he should come closer. We didnt want to approach the guy since he wasnt wearing any mask or seem bothered about COVID safety. This was disappointing and we eventually ended up going to another store nearby to buy the meat. I hope the staff recognizes how this treatment can offend customers and try to do better.

I have shopped here multiple times. Amazed and delighted at the selection and prices. The Halal lamb is outstanding. Worth the drive and time spent in the store. Decent amount of parking.

The Shawarma wrap is pretty cheap and good. They serve it from 10-5 if im not mistaken.

Good middle eastern store, they have almost anything you need regarding mediterranean grocery.

Too expensive and and they have a lot of expired food. Variety is good. The butcher shop is one of the best. And they have a gyro stand inside. That is also very good.

Ive been going to this International Market forever. DELICIOUS!! Persian menu, with an actual Persian Chef. After moving back from DC where some of my favourite Persian places (and people) are, I realised just HOW much I truly missed this exceptional cuisine and culture. Do yourself a huge favour and visit. You wont be disappointed!!

There are some products on shelves have ended the problem when you dont trust is you have to spend so much time to look for each item expiration to make sure its not expired

I really dont know what to say here! But it bolts down to customer service at the end.Several weeks ago and as usual I was at the check out, I believe one of the owners or the manger on duty offer me a baklava I am not sure it was baklava but like baklava this particular pastry like baklava he offer was so , so tasty after I left the store I had to come back and get some more because it was so delicious.Now, several days ago I was in again this time I saw the same delicious pastry at the counter and this time I bought 2 lbs.Thinking that my taste buds are going to be thanking me later on.....Boy o boy was I wrong or wrong...!I was totally disappointed...!I called back a few hours later to say a few thing about it the gentleman who answer the phone was nothing but understanding and put the all the blame on me..I felt like switched and baited... what a terrible feeling! Terrible customer service!He tells me I should have asked him a sample before I purchased 2 lbs of it. I told hime he should have told me it isnt the same pastry/baklava...!Bottom line is beware! Ask to taste before you buy anything thinking that you are buying the same thing you are buying previously you enjoyed so much of!Clearly it isnt same previously!

A simple but fantastic menu of Persian dishes. This is the only restaurant that my wife and I have found in the entire Nashville or Northern Tennessee area that has a Persian Chef that is satisfactory. The market is also fantastic, I expected Middle Eastern foods but was more than surprised at the selection. They had everything ranging from an Asian to German to a wide variety of Middle Eastern selections as well. Overall a fantastic place for an international taste bud!

This place has one of the best shawarma I have ever tasted. They have good quality products and they have a nice staff. They welcome people of all ethnicities to their shop. I like to grab my groceries with a can vimto every time I visit.

Very good, clean general store with a very large variety of Middle East products, even some European. It also has a small deli where they serve yummy sandwiches. You have got to try their sweets if you stop by. I personally recommend this store to anybody.

The staff have amazing customer service and they pointed me to where I needed to go to find what I was looking for. Also they have amazing food served there as well as fresh baked bread daily. Awesome place to buy all kinds of international food!

My family and I tried the Gyros Sandwiches, the chicken and the lamb sandwiches were amazing, good, fresh, tasty. Also the market got a lot different products, cheeses,nuts, etc.

Very nice people they have the best selection of spices, fresh veggies, and fresh items from their bakery. Sulav international market also has the best sandwich’s with a choice of meat or chicken whichever you would perfer both meats are very tender and easy to chew.

Definitely recommend it, all variety of goods, foods, seasoning and anything a person would look for international grocery it can be found here. People who work there are very nice. They can answer questions.

If you are new in the town just like me and looking for persian stuffs, just dont waste your time exploring all the markets and go straight here. You can find whatever you need and also the best bakery and fresh breads Ive ever tried here in nashville.Cons: a little bit pricey but the same as the other Kurdish or Arabian markets!! Unless you prefer ignore persian goods and shop from nearest Wal-Mart!

Finally ...ive found Lebanese style shawrma in Nashville :)).... When i heard about this place and they offering these great shawarmas I just had to go try em. Walking in this is a basically an all in one market, offering a bakery, groceries, other home items. But when you look on the right side as soon as you walk in you can see heaven, the 2 meats being cooked and 2 guys standing.I ordered a chicken and beef, they ask you what kind of bread you would like the thick or the thin Persian bread, I opted for the Persian. The way the cook handles cutting the meat and the other person dressing up the bread with salad and sauces you can tell they have a lot of experience in doing this. The 2 cooks are tag team experts and dont miss a beat. The sandwich is presented in a very professional chef manner for you to eat.So do try these if you havent and get ready to be blown away. :)
