This review is of the deli. A few weeks ago, placed an online order. Went to pick it up 10 minutes PAST the pickup time. It wasnt there or ready. It was dead with 2 ppl behind the counter mind you. Fine... Unprecedented times you know.. They finally got to get our order. Got our order home and the meatballs were still frozen. GROSS! OK, 2nd chance time today. Missing items on both of our sandwiches. Bacon being one of them that we pre-paid for. Word of advice, go to 51st Deli down the street. I have been going there for years and never a messed up order. They also serve Boars Head.

As always my favorite Publix..they seem more relaxed and they are of course competent..great atmosphere..boutique style on a larger scale..then there are mountains all around in the background 💓

I always go here because it is at the bottom of the hill of my house and it is spectacular. Sometimes I find random reasons to shop just because I enjoy it so much. They have everything you need. Enjoy!

Went in to purchase Fresh Herbs, Oregano and Basil $1.99 each for my Homemade Spaghetti. Store is super clean and Self Checkout is a breeze. Grew my own Basil this season!

Specific issue with the deli. I was in the area and needed to pick up dinner. I chose Publix because of the convenience of online ordering my sandwich. My issues are: they were not busy, there were multiple associates behind the counter, and there were 20 minutes to complete my order, which I in turn had to wait an additional 10 minutes for. Please stress timeliness and attention to details to your associates. I am greatly disappointed in my experience today.

Slim and Tyler in the deli are so incredible!! Slim helped us out in the deli today and made 100% sure we got everything we needed and were happy while being incredibly sweet and detail oriented! This girl needs a raise!! Thanks guys!

I enjoy the pleasure of occasionally shopping at Publix. The prices are indeed higher than other retailers. We dont mind because the store is seldom crowded, they have excellent meat, dairy, and bread, the manager is friendly and has given us free items when the price was incorrect, and the subs are fantastic. They have made two birthday cakes now, one farm and tractor, and another construction themed, for our kids. Both cakes were great. Also, one of the balloons I bought for the kids popped and they gave me a free one when I tried to buy another balloon. Its small things like this that keep us going back to Publix.

This is consistently the nicest grocery shopping experience possible. The store is clean and well stocked. The food is fresh. Every employee is friendly and helpful. Other shoppers are considerate and pleasant. The checkout process is fast. Its the BEST.

Tried ordering a cake for a birthday with a 4 leaf clover on it because my father in law is Irish and his birthday is one st pattys day and the lady on decorating duty tonight just said straight up she couldn’t make a German chocolate cake, didn’t give an explanation as to why so when I asked why they couldn’t make it since it’s on the choice online to pick as far as flavors she just said they couldn’t (later finding out from Kevin they don’t have the ingredients).. so I switched to vanilla to be easy and asked for a 4 leaf clover on it (given the reason above) she again just said no and that it was a copy right issue.. I asked how since they do many other decorations and it’s literally a leaf..? Still couldn’t get a straight forward answer as to why so I asked to speak to a manager(can’t remember her name) just seemed like it wasn’t a concern to her at all or like she really cared at all or even try to help me she just passed the call over to Kevin (who I was told is the baking manager) and I apologized to Kevin for him having to deal with the issue and again, just talked to me like he had other stuff to do and was very short and rude and asked when I needed the cake I just said atleast by the afternoon Friday to which he complained and said “yaaaa might not happen, we have over 25 cakes for tomorrow “ and then ended up saying I could pick it up at 4. Didn’t ask for my name for the order or my phone number and just hung up. I ended up calling the publix off of belleview where a girl named Charlotte took my order and was absolutely so sweet and easy to work with and nice.. will not go to This publix location again for anything .. though it’s “just a cake” to them, it’s important to me, I’ve gone through publix many times to have huge orders of subs made for my office meetings and parties and will not go to this location Again given management alone and lack of care from all of them. Out of everywhere people can go to, 9/10 they choose publix because how nice everyone is and known for having the best customer service.. definitely not the same for this location.

This location is always understaffed and poorly stocked. There are zero steps taken to prevent the spread of Covid. Maskless employees and customers everywhere. The deli and hot food is consistently deep fried garbage and substandard sandwiches. I’ve seen gas stations with better varieties. I hope Publix finds new management. I will not be back anytime soon.

Publix - jaela was awesome. Glad the little red head and lady mgr wasnt there at customer service desk. Whew! Load off.Aside from that, they have great produce and pleasant staff.

My biggest issue was DARRYL in the bakery department. I received a cake for my sons 7th birthday that was horrendous. It was uneven, icing was missing from the sides and the Nerf bullseye decoration was unrecognizable. I immediately calledThe bakery. I spoke to DARRYL who immediately responded very hostile. He told meThat they made this cake at 6 a.m, and the girl who took the order took a digital picture of it and she shouldn’t have and they had no way of getting in touch with her. I told him I completely understood, but that this mishap was in no way myFault. He said very sternly that If I brought the cake back he would refund it. Myself along with my sister-in-law, who had picked up and paid for the cake, went to the bakery. Once I spoke To DARRYL, there was again no apology, he just offered a refund. I wrongly assumed they would remake the cake, but was told they could not because they were busy. My sister-in-law forgot her receipt for the cake, so he would not give her cash back for the cake because he said people use their EBT cards to buy the cake and get cash back when they return them. I told himThe cake was a disaster and we were obviously not trying to do that. He didn’t care, no people skills again not one apology for ruining my sons birthday cake. I had to get a fall themed cake instead. I live in Florida now and have been spoiled with having great customer service at my local publix. At the end of the day, my sons party went great and he in no way cared about the cake. It’s more about the way that I was treated by DARRYL. I assume he was the one who made the cake and was therefore offended, but I am a very nice and understanding person and a simple “I’m very sorry, let me try to rectify this for you”, would have solved everything.

I am a big Publix fan from Florida. This is a large and well organized store with usual clean isles and friendly staff throughout. BUT when you order sliced turkey in the deli and you get home with a shredded mess in a bag you wonder what training goes on and I can not give my usual 5star Publix rating here!

Tried to order a cake for an event. Requested and ordered a cake with flames on it, along with Well Miss You, Friend!.This. This is what we received. Now, Ive seen fails of all kinds. Ive seen mistakes that were understandable. This? Wow! My 6 year old could do a better decoration while needing to go to the bathroom. Pink flames? This looks like a scribbled note hidden in an Easter Basket!Publix, stick to helping people carry groceries, and sell that bakery off to anyone else.

Last evening around 8 pm I left work in Bellevue and stopped for two items. Being alone, I noticed getting out of the car how well lit up the store and surrounding parking area was and how groomed the landscaping is (harder for criminals to hide behind). I felt safe. Also Publix is great about offering to help escort you to your car. I spoke to Houston today (identified as a Manager) and complimented his store, creating a feeling of safety. Another reason to shop Publix. ❤️

If youre deli says that it opens at 10...Does it not stand to reason that all the hot food would be ready at 10?So when I walk in at 11...should it look like no one has cooked a single thing? Should your letting me know that itll be 45 minutes before anything will be ready not come some explanation, seeing as youve allegedly been open for an hour?Help me understand...

Today I visited this Publix location to pick up some subs for lunch for my co worker and I. Jenny in the deli was who put our sandwiches together for us and she was such a delight! You could seriously tell that she loves her job! She even went above and beyond and offered a sample of the new Aloha Boar’s Head turkey to try and that is what I ended up getting on my sub today! Keep up the great work!

Love Publix! The store is always so nice and clean. All the employees go out of their way to help you. If something is not on the shelf they will take the time to go to the back to see if there is any back there for you. Got to LOVE that!

By far the WORST COVID-19 safety precautions of any grocery store in Nashville. There is no enforcement of the one-way lanes, and some lanes aren’t even marked with a direction. Do better.

Expensive and not real efficient. Self checkout is great and so is the 15 items or less line but only having one normal lane open isn’t enough. People lined up 5 deep with full carts in that lane and nobody is paying attention.

Absolutely perfect as always! I had three employees ask if I needed anything, because theyre all fabulous! Baby bella mushrooms were on sale 2/$4, of course I bought two. Their flowers were gorgeous, bought me some crazy daisies. Accidentally walked down the ice cream aisle, so I now have to work off a pint of ice cream tomorrow. But it was all worth it! In all honesty, I just come in for the nice employees. The food is just a bonus.

I ordered the seafood boil. The person working the counter Saturday morning was so helpful. He told me how to prepare the meal. It was great, everyone was raving about the meal. I cant remember his name. I know is was from New Orleans. I just want to tell him thank you.

I am extremely disappointed in this Publix. I have a very sick person at home and I ran down the street to my neighborhood Publix to get him some medicine. I get the medicine I need and head to self check out. My card was declined, so I looked for someone working the self check out. Nobody is there to help so I wait. Nobody shows up and I am tired of waiting so I go to a line. After waiting forever, I finally am getting my medicine checked out and the card is declined again. She is no help, will not try typing in the number or anything. I check my account and have plenty of money in the account. I left without the items and called my bank. There is no problem with the card, the bank said that the merchant didnt have a reliable card reader. If you are going to be selling items like medicine, things that people really need, you need to invest in a reliable way to take cards. I have been very patient with slips ups from this Publix in the past and this is the last straw. I usually shop here at least once a week for the convenience but I will find somewhere else to shop for now on.

Rick, the deli manager, is rude, unprepared, and inconsiderate. Do not visit this Publix deli for your needs. Costco is within walking distance.

Great service, friendliest workers.

We were looking for a particular type of bagel that was out if on shelf. We asked the 1st person we saw at the meat counter, he was going to check when the person that resupplies the cooler area in cheeses, etc, was coming out with cart full to replenish shelves. Low and behold, the bagel was on the bottom of the stack, and the two of them were able to open box carefully at bottom, and there they were. My husband was so happy, and I was, too, and the two guys were so nice. Thanks Publix! Thanks to these two men!!

This is my go-to place for pizza dough and frozen cassava. The staff is friendly, the products are great, and I love the self-checkout lanes theyve added. Clean store with good parking, cant be beat.

Publix is always a pleasure for shopping, though the day before Easter was quite crowded. The store offers a lovely deli with Boars Head meats/cheeses, fresh fruits/vegetables, seafood and meats. Staff are always helpful and cheerful!

There was a customer who was checking out groceries at customer service. I had 2 items to check out, way less than what the man in front me had. When I got to the front STORE ASSOCIATE: RICK told me that he couldnt check me out. When I asked him why he told me that he just might get busy.There wasnt anyone waiting behind me and the area wasnt crowded. This can be checked on the tape for date: 01/02/2020 time: 15:07.This made me feel horrible because the guy in front of me didnt have this issue. He was Caucasian and a male. I am African American and a woman. This was the only difference between the man in front of me and myself including the fact that he had way more groceries than me. I had to ask this associate for a Jr. Jumbo buck scratch off ticket in order for him to want to check me out.Its a shame that fresh in year 2020 people are still like this. I usually dont have these kinds of issues at PUBLIX.

Super nice people, the lady doing the demo cooking(I guess thats what you call it) was awesome, the sample was meatball suband zucchini & onion salad (I have never even tried zucchini) was good. The deli was great as well, I asked for cod fish and they only have it cooked on Friday she said, ( its Tuesday) but she went and cooked it fresh for me. Yea! It was good.

Publix has always been a favorite pf mine Im regards to supermarkets. Very big on customer service and quality, both of which are very important in a supermarket.Publix Customer Service is very friendly and cooperative with all the customers. This includes observing, surveying, and dealing with customer complaints. They also provide quality direction and answers to all customers.

Picked up deli sandwiches for lunch. Always a good choice for turkey and roast beef subs. Very reasonably priced.

Service was good and the staff was friendly. My only issue was that the selection was very limited compared to the comparable supermarkets in the area, especially in the deli and meat departments. The Publix, Harris Teeter, and Kroger on West End are all nicer and close enough that I would never come to this one unless it was just for one or two basic things and I was already at Nashville West

As a Florida transplant, its so nice to walk into a Publix here! Hit the sandwich counter for lunch and get addicted like the rest of us.Fresh produce and a large selection, great meats, and obscure items. Publix wins the grocer games.

The produce is the best in town. Love the BOGOs! Best of all is their Customer Service! The eye to eye Hellos. They ask if you need help finding an item before you ask for help. It seems as if Publix people read facial expressions. I am in a wheelchair and could not ask for a better store and staff.

The sushi department is amazing! Always friendly service and great sushi.
