Firehouse Auto is top notch. They have been our servicing our families cars for over 15 years. Honest, trustworthy, the list goes on... Recently my daughter has had some issues with her older Camry, and they have talked her through each problem before making the repairs so she could understand completely. One afternoon at 5:00 her check engine light came on and she stopped by to see if they could help her, they did it was an issue with not fully tightening her gas gap. No charge! She was relieved. I own a 1990 Chevrolet C1500 Scottsdale with a 5.7 V8. I was have lean fuel codes but the motor would often stall if the gas pedal was pressed to hard. By the performance alone, a person may think that the motor had 368,000 miles on it but this is the second motor with only 68,000 miles. I did not know what to do to fix it. So I took it to Firehouse Auto. The biggest problem trying to get a 31 year old truck fixed is the mechanics that know how to diagnose problems with the C/K1500s is a rare and dying breed. Luckily, Jeff is the best mechanic especially when it comes to old chevrolets. He diagnosed the truck with a cracked manifold, a leaking gasket under the throttle body (thats where the lean fuel problem was coming from) and incorrect timing.

Jeff is probably the most honest mechanic I’ve ever encountered. While working on my vehicle and discovering the issue. He contacted me to let me know it would be a very lengthy and expensive fix. He then went out of his way to figure out if I had an extended warranty on the vehicle. Discovering that I did, he also gave me the contacts to several service providers to expedite the process. I’m not sure how much money this saved me but I know he could’ve made a lot of money off of me and he chose to do the right thing instead.My family and I can’t thank you enough Jeff. Will definitely continue to use Firehouse.

Had tires and inspection completed here, let me say this first, no service with a smile here.....if you need the warm and fuzzies then this is not your place. But they ordered my tires overnight and installed next morning along with inspection in under 2 hours. Theyre quick at what they do and I was satisfied with that. Good price on the tires too

I havent been to Firehouse Auto in several years because of where my daily commute took me versus their location. But I went back for tires and some HVAC issues last week. They fixed the uncertain HVAC issues promptly, honestly and at a price that was a fraction of what a dealership garage led me to believe it would cost. It took only one return trip to Firehouse Auto (working w Dave and Jeff) to completely remind me of why I liked them so much when I first went to them for service!

They were awesome, They told me about a recall, instead of charging me and I got it for free from our dealer. Thats honesty, they still did a bunch of other work for us and it has been awesome. 6 stars if I could.

Went in Sept 28 looking for information and had quick answers on availability and hours.Dropped civic off at 8 30 am where a tire repair, an alignment, and an inspection was requested. All pertinent i formation was gathered and was seen immidiately.315 pm vehicle was picked up with all tasks completed aside from the inspection. Due to my experimentation with tailight tinting spray, it was out of regulation so it hindered that particular work. Easy removal and can be tried again soon. Dave and his crew are on point for their workload and times of week/day. Date of review same day as repairs. Will return if requiring repair!

Pleasantly surprised by this shops performance. Easy to get an appointment, drop off, and pick up. I got an NC vehicle inspection. Everything is done with zero hassle. I will return here again.

Ived used this shop quite a bit over the last decade. Prices arent as good as your friends uncle but they seem to be fair and trustworthy. This past trip I had my air suspension on my old 2005 Buick die and the replacement cost on parts was pretty high but they offered to retro fit/downgrade to tradiotional struts and it saved me a bundle of cash by doing so. Car rides great on the struts and Im very satisfied.

These guys are great. I was in Mooresville from ATL and had a tire mysteriously go flat. These guys had it fixed in no time. These guys are very fair and the kind of guys who remember your name and try to take care of their customers. I would definitely go back if I had an issue in Mooresville again.

Fairly priced, honest mechanics.

These guys are good. The owner is a former airplane technician and really knows his stuff. I have been going there for about three years mainly because they use quality parts when they do oil changes (Napa GOLD filters, rather than the el-cheapo no-name stuff you get at Jiffy Lube and other places) I researched oil filters when I used to drag race and the Napa Gold line is very good, almost as good as Purolator PureOne or Mobil 1, which are about $12 each. They even replaced a license plate light bulb for free one time during my state inspection. Little stuff like that brings me back.

Got my car inspected here. It took 15 minutes and the staff was very friendly. TWCWiFi hotspot.

Store hours should state no new customers after 430 PM. Nothing can be done in that shop in an hours time.
