Took my car there for simple inspection, the front desk lady was super professional and helpful. I couldnt pick my car up for like 2 days I talked to owner about it he told me not a problem at all. Went in for the $19.99 oil change. The service writer came out with my cabin filter and air filter in hand which were both changed 2 weeks earlier ( Im on Amazon filter program), and was told these need changing soon. Also was told I need a tire rotation ( done two weeks earlier at Discount where I bought the tires). Oh and that brake fluid is no good, it needs changing..must of been upsell Saturday. Oh.. and by the way, we no longer offer the $19.99 oil change. Thatll be $32 now. Have a nice day!

My sister in law spent 3 hours there for an oil change that was advertised $19.00. She didnt look at the bill till she got home and was also charged $22.00 labor.The sign didnt say PLUS LABORWHAT A RIPOFF!!!

When dropping off my Truck at 12:45pm they said it would be an hour. I left it there until 4:15pm. For a full service oil change. When I arrived to pick it up none of my fluids under the hood were “topped off” like stated in their full service that I paid for. Tonya at the desk stated they were out of windshield wiper fluid. One of the guys came to fill up the coolant. And he said they needed to “make some more” window fluid. I’ve now been here an additional 45 mins waiting for them to top off my fluids that should have been done while servicing my vehicle. I’ve always come to precision in Mooresville for last ten years - and lately it’s gotten worse. And this is just poor quality, and poor management - if they’re out of fluids that can be made before the shift begins - someone isn’t doing their job correctly- Just lazy. Do not recommend.

Man Im completely new to the mooresville area and I dont trust many people with my car. Not going to lie at first I was nervous, however they took better care of my car than I did. The manager Chris wouldnt even let me leave until I allowed him to look at anything he assumed might have been the problem. Front desk receptionist made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. If you need anything done to your car I highly highly highly recommend you take it to precision Tune Auto Care.

My 16 year old son had a flat tire in my wifes car. It happened right in front of Precision tune. He pulled off of HWY 150 into the shop. When I arrived I went into the very nice super clean showroom and was greeted with a smile. I was helped right then even though they were closing soon. So I needed a few other things done. I ask if they could help. The only answer that Chris had was YES. I left my car at the shop and they called the next morning with a quote. VERY GOOD PRICE!!! We had the car repaired and were on the road before noon. Thank you very much for the help. Chris has earned my business in the future.

I came in for my regular oil change and tire rotation maintenance. Chris was able to get me scheduled for a same-day appointment. Everyone was amazing and super friendly. Last week, as I was driving I-77, an 18-wheeler had a blow out and their tire hit under my car and since then my tire pressure light had been on. The guys checked it out for me and everything was fine with my tires and sensors and they just reset the light for me. Overall, the price was amazing and in my budget. Definitely more affordable than most places Ive encountered before. I will continue to take my business to Precision Tune in Mooresville as they are so great and always have been for me! From the time I made the first call until my car was repaired, everyone was so professional. I came in with what I thought was a very expensive head gasket repair. It ended up being something half the cost. The time estimate was exactly what was promised. They checked in with me with the findings. The cost was the exact quote. Great job!

I used to really like this place. The lady at the counter is always phenomenal. It’s clean and the technicians seem thorough and efficient. However, the last few times I’ve gone, the service has been extremely odd. There was no follow through, they had my vehicle saying they would have it ready by a certain time and then Chris called saying it would be better if they looked at it on another day because they were busy and it was getting late. I found that odd considering that’s not what I was told when I dropped it off. I won’t be going back unfortunately. Chris was rude and snappy when I politely questioned why it had taken so long for me to be informed. To be fair, this was some time ago and I’m just getting around to addressing this.

One with other repairs we had the windshields wipers replaced. My wife was driving home and it started to rain. Your mechanic put the wipers on wrong and my wife came close to having wreckThank s. Could have cost her her life.

I brought my 94 camaro in for some clutch issues. I was quoted $1,200 for the job. I am no mechanic but being that the value of the car is only $3,000 I figured I should check with a few friends that are mechanics. After talking with 4 different friends they all said it was the master cylinder. One of them actually called the shop to ask a few question to the mechanic on site who had done the quote. No real answers were given just a run around, well we checked and its the clutch. So my friend said dont let them do the work Ill come get it, something isnt adding up. After getting the car he discovered it was in fact the master cylinder a simple $120 fix.DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

These guys are a little more pricey than the competition but they are absolutely worth it. They have not let me down in the years i have been using them. Very dependable crew.

DO NOT GO HERE. I went here today to get an oil change and state inspection. So I’m guessing it’s the manager bald guy comes out and says your vehicle failed inspection you need new tires want me to get you a quote. I tell him no thank you I’ll take it somewhere else to get another opinion. He says oh I’ve never heard that answer before. I go to 15 minutes down the road to my normal inspection place and they tell me everything is fine car passes and I’m on my way. I explained to my normal place what had happened they told me definitely trying to get me to just spend money. Also higher ups need to do something about this place guys are yelling while cussing through the garage manager involved also smoking all through the garage. Rethink going here

Dont waste your time. Called about free alignment check as they advertised on web site and lady on the phone said yes we do free check come any time. So I came ask for free alignment check and manager tried to charge me $69 for alignment. When I said I need just check it and make sure I need alignment or not. Manager just LAUGHED at me and said were not going to do it. Definitely Im not going to come back for any services.

My son went for a oil change. They gave him a list for about $1000 in things he didnt need. What they missed was a leaking radiator, a broken tensioner for the serpentine belt ans 2 bad pullys which i had fixed the next day but with another business. Watch out for corporate businesses, they try to make u pay for everything under the sun of things you dont need

Kind of expensive and long wait time. Traffic is really bad at this location.After placing this review of my experience I received a phonecall the next day. While I appreciated the quick response to my review what it turned into was the man giving me an argument for everything I said. I had planned to go back to give them another chance thinking maybe I just caught them on an off day but after the conversation we had Ive decided not worth the hassle.

They took care of us right away and they did it in a timely fashion. There were very warm and friendly

The staff was very professional, and the service was very quick and efficient. They did not try to up-sell me for any other services, and actually recommended some money-saving options. I had great and honest service, which can sometimes be difficult to come by in the auto service industry.

Customer service was great and very through with me about my vehicle. They make you aware of work you will need in the future, but do not pressure you to do it right then. It was also accommodating for my young child. The manager offered him toys to keep him occupied during our wait. There was also a changing table which I have not seen in other car shops. Overall I had a good experience and will definitely be coming back.

Being a mail carrier, I drive my car a lot! I have had my car serviced and repaired at so many different locations and each location has ripped me off. I needed to find a shop, an honest mechanic that I could bring my car in and do frequently checks. I have been coming to this place for years but I moved and i wanted to find a local shop. That was my mistake. NEVER AGAIN!!! I needed a big repair recently and I finally made the drive and brought my car to them. It took all day (unplanned at the time, not knowing how big the job was or how long) and I needed to use my car the next day. They got me in and out that late afternoon. I am so happy with these guys!! They will tell you what needs to be done and not push for unnecessary services. Customer service is excellent!!! Every time I have to come in for regular service to my vehicle, Im always greeted with respect. They are very courteous and always professional, they seem to care about keeping your vehicle in very good shape and there prices are reasonable. They also have a very nice waiting area that includes beverages, snacks.... Theres also a play area for the kids! Had been good in my review bucket but was very upset about the advice given to me. I went in for an oil change and just a power socket fix. But I was advised to take a full electrical diagnostics. It is as simple as fixing a fuse but they charged me $100. Every power socket has its own electrical fuse and the car is running with no electrical issues then why would we charge $100 an hard earned money? Even then electrical diagnostics is as good as looking for shorts with measurements. Yeah nowadays automobile workshops had to do this I guess.

Precision Tune always takes care of our auto needs. My husband noticed that our alternator belt was beginning to fray. I took our truck in the next day and asked them to take a look at it. They always fix what NEEDS to be repaired and dont tack on extra work like so many other auto repair places do. I was able to get my alternator belt replaced, and get a lube oil and filter...no apt necessary....same day service....and they are so professional. Thanks for another great experience!

To make it even better, a guy named Chris, who came from Meineke, is working there now and he is THE BEST!! I was only there to drop off a customers car! I did notice that they have a key drop box & slot, for vehicles needing svc after hours.

I needed an oil change and an alignment and both of them were at great prices. I also bought tires and they were also at great prices. I also mentioned a loud sound coming from my car when I drive. The associate was nice enough to drive my car around the corner and check out the noise at no extra cost. He also went out of his way to get a quote for a piece I needed by the time my car was finished.

They where busy on a Saturday i can understand the wait. So if you walk in on a Saturday prepare to wait a bit for certain things. I waiting around an hour for a safty inspection.

Had a great experience, have had my oil changed there and they looked over everything and told me what I needed to expect in the future, no pressure sales but prepared me for what’s coming. I was worried about my brakes and they checked them out and told me I still had plenty left. Very trustworthy and I will be going here from now on.

Very professional and considerate staff. I have been doing oil change, State inspection and other services for my Honda with them for last 1 year. Last time I went to STR automobiles for oil change and they stated that drain plug is over tightened in last service and threads on oil pan is stripped. Oil leak and immediate need of pan replacement. Big shock to me but was not sure who did it . Went back to precision and explained the complete scenario. Patrick over there calmly listened and agreed to meet half way on labor. Luckily they were able to fix the thread using their special kit and saved me pan replacement..on top of that Patrick waived the complete labor. Highly appreciated their professionalism to treat & retain customer. Thanks again Patrick.

My experience was less than satisfactory putting it mildly. The day of my service was a downpour, wind, sideways rain, water accumulating on parking lot. I was instructed to move my car even though as soon as I moved it a serviceman pulled it into a bay. It crossed my mind that she found it humorous but I gave her benefit of the doubt. The gentleman in front of me walked in the bay to retrieve his car but me on the other hand..... My car was pulled to the far side of the lot, five spaces from the door. No other vehicle was in the parking lot at that point. That made it completely apparent that the manager was playing mean girl. Grow up! I will never be back. I will encourage all of my friends and associates to avoid this business. This is what happens when you try to be cheap.....I had a coupon. Needless to say I will be going back to my former garage.

I always go here for my oil changes, and since their prices are so much cheaper than everywhere else. In the past they would try to sell me stuff I knew I didnt need, but the people they have working there now behind the counter are great! My reason for updating my review today is to say THANK YOU for not caving in to the overwhelming groupthink and hysteria thats taken over our country for the past 13-14 months. I come here every time I need an oil change, and several months ago (right after our emperor - I mean governor - announced his mask mandate) I remember being pleasantly surprised and RELIEVED when I walked up and there were no MASK REQUIRED UPON ENTRY signs posted all over the front door, like every other business did. I was even happier when I walked in and none of the employees had masks on either! I can not and will not wear a mask, so going out in public for the past year has been interesting, to say the least. I had all but stopped going out because of the anxiety it gave me every time I went in a store, not knowing if an employee or another shopper was going to attack me for daring to not wear a bacteria-collecting, chemically treated face diaper (look it up, medical masks and even a lot of cloth masks are treated with toxic ethylene oxide, which is a known carcinogen) over my face and nose. Precision is one of only two businesses in the Lake Norman area that Ive been to in the last year who didnt impose this nonsense on its employees and customers. I just want to say thank you!!

Im a little disappointed with how my trip went. I called ahead to get a quote and made an appointment for an alignment. I was told $49.90. I got there and checked in. They loaded the car up and did the alignment which turned out fine. I was given the receipt and I noticed a $3.99 shop supplies fee which I understand to cover rags, solvents, etc. Well I watched the whole alignment process and didnt see any shop supplies used like you would expect to see in a parts repair job. I know its a common fee, but I think its a junk fee that should have been mentioned in the quote I called for. When I politely mentioned to Joe, the desk attendant that I didnt see any shop supplies being used, he replied in a rather rude tone, Its on all of the invoices. You already got $20 off, nothing I can do for you. Im not sure what he meant by getting $20 off, but I wasnt going to press. I was left with a bad taste from the attitude and lack of explanation. Sadly I probably wont be back all over a silly $4 charge and poor attitude.

Quick diagnosis & repair. Fair pricing. Fit & finish needs work tho - had to return at least once to tighten up the glove box, which had been removed during repair. Otherwise, fair pricing for work performed.The estimate changed once they got deeply into the project, but they called to authorize the addl labor, which was reasonable.Had two unrelated problems crop up @ the same time, which they handled quickly & competently.

Ray the Manager was absolutely great to work with! Shanes diagnosis and repair were spot on as usual. What a great team and the Best car repair experience ever. Patrick even waited after closing so I could pick my car up! This would explain why I travel over 100 miles to get my car FIXED and I FEEL GOOD doing so.

Usually I receive great Customer Service however going in today tired from working all night so when you try to sell me additional things it always annoys me to the fullest so I cut him off soon as he started so he said YOUR RUDE! Really I don’t care right now I’m tired and people have came in after me and gone getting an oil change and inspection which requires more time than my regular oil change only! I took my 1970 Chevelle to have some brake work done .they took care of it in a timely fashion and took care of my car like it was their own. great customer service and the technician Shane was great also . I would recommend to take your classic car or your daily driver to have it repaired at that facilities.
