I’m a little disappointed with this place. In 2019 I got a rear cam and new stereo installed along with remote start. They couldn’t figure out how to get the new stereo to work with my steering wheel controls even though I advised that is absolutely a feature I didn’t want to lose. They upgraded my remote start as they didn’t have what I asked for which was great. Take whatcha can get I guess.Fast forward two years, my back up cam is flickering and working only sometimes.I spent almost 3 hours sitting at the shop and they tell me that they’ve tried everything. They tried a new camera, they tested the relay and found that the issue is my stereo; the relay or input on the stereo was bad which would only be fixed by replacing the whole thing. Uh.....Considering the stereo is only 2 years old, I was skeptical; I’ve never had this issue before with other vehicles I’ve had the same thing installed in. Regardless they didn’t charge me and I gave the guy a tip for his time and efforts.I take the truck to my father in TN who finds that, oh... it’s just a disconnected wire under the floor board. See photo.And he was able to fix my steering wheel controls. 🤔So either they don’t know how to properly troubleshoot an issue from top to bottom before giving a diagnosis and costing the customer hundreds of unnecessary dollars OR they wanted a sell to make the labor worth their time....I don’t know which one is actually true or which is worse, but either way, I’ll find another shop to do my work.

Hi, my name is Michael; I had my 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 serviced at the Tweet Shop in July 2021. I take reviewing the services I use very seriously because many people make a purchase decision after reading someone elses experience with it. You will see below that my review is divided into 3 sections, and I will update you if any drastic changes occur.MY EXPERIENCE: I went to have an aftermarket head unit put in and brought in wiring harnesses, adapters, and brackets in so they could wire in the steering wheel controls to the new system. I dropped it off at 11 am and they called and informed me that it was ready around 2:30 pm the same day. The head unit works well even though I chose to keep only the stock sound equipment, and the steering wheel controls work beautifully with the system. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because in the process of taking the dash apart for the installation, they took off a wire from my horn switch. To be fair, it was a pretty ghetto wiring job, but they still should have said something about it to me. I was a bit annoyed at first, but I was able to fix it again in 20 minutes and have it back up and running.CONS AND PROS:-Cons: The above horn situation-Pros:1. Fair pricing2. Hassle-free experience overallTHE BOTTON LINE: Even though they messed up my horn, I have no other complaints. The woman who I first talked to when I came in gave me an accurate, up-front estimate. Everything that was related to the job they did works as it should (head unit, steering wheel controls). I would definitely recommend this place if you need work done on your cars sound system.

The sound went out in my truck about a year ago so I took it to a shop in Tillman’s corner off of Government Boulevard. I won’t say the name of the business but they told me that my rear speakers were blown and my amp was probably gone too. They quoted me a price around $200 to $300 so I spent the past year saving my pennies to get this taken care of. A friend recommended the Tweet shop so I took it to them and they got back with me within an hour so let me know that my rear speakers were not blown and the amplifier just needed a proper ground. They only charged me $49 to get my Stereo working properly again. I believe that’s the price of the assessment. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on extras so I can’t thank these people enough. Also they were very friendly and that is a plus in my book.

Knowledgeable staff, very helpfull! Go see these folks if you want quality sound! We drove from Mississippi, because you cant get this quality of customer service there.

Generally helpful, every time Ive been they seem very grumpy. over priced audio when doing comparison shopping, but if need new speakers or other audio fast they usually can get you what you need from stock .

They gave me 3 different prices on phone and in person. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE CROOKS! They cracked my dashboard when they installed my radio. When I turn off my truck and put my truck on the ignition, the radio did not turn on. I returned it back to Tweet Shop, they charged me another $50 to fix their mistake. THEY CHARGED ME $280 JUST TO INSTALLL A RADIO! IF YOU GO TWEET SHOP, YOU WILL REGRET IT! GO TO BEST BUY! THEY ARE CHEAPER AND MORE PROFESSIONAL!!

Paid $1350 for 2 twelves in a box and an amp that was thrown in my trunk not mounted just sliding around loose. Took it back up there to be fixed and just saw it’s still sliding around back there..it cuts off every 30 min bc it gets too hot...would NOT recommend

Highly Recommended!! I visited Tweet Shop not really knowing exactly what I needed only knowing what I would like & how much I was going to spend. (I just bought a vehicle & the radio would come on however no sound. I was looking to buy a touch screen & needed a backup cam because of the tent on my windows was too dark.) I had been taken advantage of by a few other places before my visit here. The first place I was charged $85 for them to tell me I needed speakers which I knew I had all the speakers & even showed the guy that pretend not to see them & insisted on me to pay them $800 for speakers I didnt need.. The other place wouldnt listen to what I wanted either & having the products I was wanting to install in stock they charged me $60 only to rewire my radio which only worked for about a day and a half & lost out on the major sale they could have gotten. When I visited Tweet Shop they actually listen to me & understood exactly what I was looking for as well as knew exactly what I needed. Each employee that spoke to me was all polite & understanding what was going on. They even let me watch while they worked on my SUV while explaining the installation & what they were doing & how it all worked together. Going in not really understanding anything about what I was wanting & leaving knowing everything I needed to know about it all & them keeping the price under what I was willing to spend & getting exactly what I was expecting made my visit much better. I have a few other things that I want to do & will return here for them to do it.. Thanks Tweet Shop for all you do!!

I know the family very well. They are some of the nicest and friendliest people. Their installation prices are the cheapest in town. They also offer discounts if you buy their products and have them install it for you. They have been in business for a very long time and there’s a reason for it. I took my Mercedes Benz to see what was wrong with the radio it came with,The guy who look at it said it got wet& had to get another radio so I did.He install the radio&disconnected my 10 inch woofer&CD changer but now I cant pickup no stations or use CD changer cause he said antenna dont work with radio now I have a shortage in my system&only can play CDs through radio.have to disconnect battery so car wont go dead&Everytime I hope it back up hear noise in my speakers.I need to have my system play right.Been dealing with them a long time&never had a problem with them.They are good no lie.just that day had someone new working on my car.I love the tweet shop good at what they do.

The employees were friendly and laid back, especially since i brought a bird in but i am pretty unsatisfied because i bought a nice new pioneer radio and had the tweet shop install it . The radio worked for almost 5 days and then it stopped working. Im Quite positive it has something to do with the wiring, but other than it was a 9-10 rate on service and a 4 1/2-10 on performance. Seems to me like they sold us a amp that didnt work, wouldnt let us hear it, and claimed it worked tried to hook it up and it was blown. Then told us if it didnt work they would fix it or give us a different one. Now were having to wait until they get one in that was the same price we paid for ours. I feel like they did want they could to get our money now were having to pay for it. I do not like this place what so ever!

I took an underbody light kit to tweet shop to install it. First the owner gave two different price options between the phone and in person. The kit was installed completely wrong because it wouldnt work and they blamed the manufacturer. I had to pay to have the kit taken off and sent back for the manufacturer to tell me there was nothing wrong with the kit and they sent it back. I just installed it myself with the same CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS given. They work perfectly now. Tweet shop did horrible business and wouldnt take any responsibilty.

Have had speakers hooked up there and Jeff did everything right . have had a issue with speakers going out ,no sound bit had bass. took it today and Jeff wasnt there . employees tried to tell me it was my speakers in the doors that have went out . I kept telling them no and explaining why I thought this was false . they kept saying they see it all the time , new speakers would be $170. was bout to leave and woman tod them to check speaker wires. speakers worked ! so they started digging and checking things like they should have to begin with . and it ended up being a $5 rca splitter cord , and a fuse! cost me $10 ! they had to take one my door panels off to check speaker sense they said it went out . when they put everything bk together they didnt put panel bk on right now my door wont open from inside . Ill have to drive 40 miles bk over there tomorrow . felt like they didnt want to really do anything !
