This place is fire. Massive portions, amazing gyros, very friendly staff.Id recommend ordering your gyro spicy and your fries seasoned.

Its doesnt get much better than Loon Deli!! Though, be prepared to fall into a food coma. The guys that work there are very kind and efficient, and the food always hits the spot. Loon is easily among me top spots in the City. I swear by the spicy gyro combo, but one of the workers there says he would choose the Philly if he could only eat one thing the rest of his life!

Great gyro and falafel. I know good falafel is hard to come by, crispy and moist / flavorful.Pickles were great too!

The Philly Cheese Steak is superb. Customer service is wonderful and they treat you like family. Its not a sit down deli so grab and go but youll be back for more guaranteed. I highly recommend this spot.

I love there gyros 🥙🤤 but make sure you ask for lemon 🍋 pepper on your fries 🍟 or else they forget, so double check 👍🏾

This place is a few blocks from my apartment and is the best place in the city for a gyro in my opinion. The food is reasonably priced with great portions and is, of course, delicious. I recommend this place to everyone I know!

Stopped at this location on my way to go visit my friend who lives a block away because I wanted to grab some to eat quick but ended up leaving without buying anything because this place was very dirty and smelled really bad.Edited after they replied to my comment - You must be a certified troll thinking everybody is a troll , clean up and take care of the bad smell if you dont want people to leave bad reviews is that simple.

Don’t be fooled by the appearance, this place delivers. Slightly inconsistent, but well worth the risk you have to take. Bang for your buck may be the best in uptown.

Dirty place , nasty food and super shady people. Had to change my bank card info right after I left this place. Was my first and last time.

Very well decorated inside that creates a comfortable environment for the customers. Fresh and Healthy foods are offered. Great place to come with friends are family. I loved some dishes including Pork Belly Steam Buns, Cuban Pork Crisis, Korean Bulgogi.

Its been over 4 years since Ive visited The Loon for a gyro. They used to recognize my voice and already know what my order was. There is nothing in Colorado Springs that compares and I miss these guys and this spot so much!

I first came to this place in 2008 or 2009 while out exploring the city as a young man on my longboard. I’ve been back countless times over the years and I believed than as I believe now that they make the best gyros in town. You have to stop in and say hello.

I love the small-town type of service I get every time I visit the Loon. The cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake, and the carrot cake are great but hands down, the carrot cake is most irresistible!

SO GOOD! Best gyro I’ve ever had. Their gyro platter is awesome. For $11 you get amazing hummus, Greek salad, gyro meat, rice, and pita. So good could eat it every day.

They are slightly more expensive then the speed way down the street. They have huge selection of e-smokes. The president made kind.

If you want some terrible for your body but deliciously deep fried for cheap, I highly recommend this place. The shrimp basket was an exceptional value. They did not skimp on the serving size. The only thing that would have made it better was if they had some delicious zesty sauce to dip your fries and shrimp in. The mysterious sea food sauce didnt do it for me. Fries were fried perfectly.

The Gyros here are fantastic. Ask for it spicy - the hot peppers are delicious and have a pleasant heat. I have had Gyros a number of places in the Twin Cities and these are my favorite.

Been going to this place for a few years now. Food quality has always been great and its a great place for takeaway burgers and fries. Love the Turkey and veggie burgers.Cash is preferred, but they take cards. Also remember that they tend to close earlier than the shop attached, so keep an eye on the time before you head over.

The staff is the best, and so is the take out food. The gyros are the best and Ive yet to find a place with better fried chicken take out. Mustafa is awesome. He remembers my family and me and always asks about my baby if he doesnt come along for pickup. Call ahead to order your food and you wont have to wait.

What a fun experience. Never would have expected such a nice meal based on the looks, but the food was delicious and the portions were large. It is takeout only, but food was fine 15 minutes after we left. There wasnt a wait for us but the chef said there can be a wait. Here chopped veggies for my salad after I ordered, so it took a little time but the food was fresh. Loved the falafel and the hummus. My salad with gyro meat was top notch. Would definitely come again.

Honestly, one of the best falafel places anywhere in the city.Had the falafel sandwich and the veggie platter. The food is incredible. The old guy is right when he tells you to get it spicy.It doesnt look like much, but they have tables outside you can enjoy if its nice out.Overall it was incredibly satisfying and worth it. Would recommend.

I live a block from the loon and will probably have to move because of it- I cant stop myself from grabbing a super cheap and amazing (seriously, best in the city) gyro. Plus, theyve changed the convenience store into a full smoke shop, so while Im waiting for dinner, I can browse the unique pipes and cbd products, and chat with the friendly staff. And I was kidding about moving. Unless I could take this place with me, I would never move.

Yesterday was my first time trying Gyros from Loon Deli (part of Loon Grocery in Uptown) and it was sooooo good. Probably the best Gyro Ive ever had and definitely the biggest (VERY filling). I loved the spicy giardiniera sauce. Our entire office had it delivered and loved it.

This place has amazing food and friendly staff. The Gyro is one of my favorites in town, and the portions are big. I highly recommend giving it a try if you havent yet.

The staff here are very friendly, and helpful. I mostly visit the tobacco shop side of the business, and they have everything you need in stock. They close at 10 pm. So if you work late that kinda sucks.

Totally agree with the other reviews, the gyros are amazing. I like that they add actual peppers and not sauce if you want it spicy. Unfortunately the baklava was mediocre, so five stars for the meal, three stars for the dessert.

Wings are amazing! So was banana pie. Friendly staff who remember you when you stop by.
