The food was so delicious I forgot to take a picture of it.I got the Mexican omelet, the chorizo was perfectly salty and flavorful The spice level was nice and warm. Sauce on top added depth and creaminess. Cheese was perfectly balanced. I don’t normally eat omelets, but this one I could eat every week.

Very very good food over all. Pancakes are amazing. Breakfast bowl is huge and tasty. Definitely a place to come back. The inside wasnt the cleanest but it wasnt that bad. Specially the floor need some cleaning. I only reviewed food wise for the stars.

Berry Sweet Cafe has found a terrific niche in the breakfast cafe realm. Im always on the lookout for small, unique restaurants and cafes, and Berry Sweet is one of my favorites when Im in the area. The menu does include some of the standard breakfast fare you might expect to find like biscuits and gravy, however everything is cooked to perfection with a flair for flavor you dont find in most small American breakfast cafes. Berry Sweet shines by offering more unique breakfast dishes such as Chilaquiles, a wonderful cilantro variation of sunny side-up eggs; a beef barbacoa and pork breakfast bowl with pickled onions, beans and spinach that makes you wish your last bite was starting all over again; three-egg Mexican omelettes with chorizo with a wonderful blend of heat and lightly seared vegetables that are oh so yummy! I cant say enough about Berry Sweets huge everything omelette, which when paired with a couple of their 5 excellent varieties of pancakes or 4 kinds of French toast, make breakfast at this small, neighborhood restaurant too good to pass up.If a full breakfast is too much, a nice variety of scones and sweet rolls complement the menu. Today, a wonderful fresh fruit tart was also available, which I definitely intend to take along for later.Berry Sweet is a simple, neighborhood establishment that invests creativity and quality in its food. You gotta give this place a try, and before you go, buy a glass of quality lemonade, being sold to help two of the restaurants staff members set aside money for college.

Ordered using Door Dash. The crepes were beautiful (see pic) and quite delish! Also ordered veggie omelet & pancakes. Omelet was loaded with mushrooms and quite tastarific! The pancakes were ok...not much flavor or sweetness. Overall a prettygood order

Big portions, I took half home. Had the Barbacoa breakfast scramble and it was a bit spicy for me, but very tasty. The berry waffle was amazing with a good amount of fruit and cream on top. Love the bottomless mimosas. You order and pay when you first go in, then sit down. Full crowd but didnt have to wait long.

Really nice local independent restaurant. Love the blueberry pancakes. As of 11 May, they have 100% seating (although there was plenty of elbow room when we went just before noon).

I cant believe I waited so long to try this place! I live in the neighborhood where it is located and I will be visiting a lot more! Fantastic breakfast. They make everything from scratch. Order at the counter and wait for food to get to you was very easy. My husband hand the Tacos for lunch and said they were fantastic. I had the egg and meat place. Get the bacon!

Food was delicious. I had the French Toast and my aunt and sister shared the Strawberries & Creme Pancakes. Both were large portions and very good. My husband had the Biscuits & Gravy, his go-to breakfast; he said the gravy was the best he has had in the Twin City area. Well be back!

Ok experience for my first time here. Food was alright, the hash browns were amazing... and they have me enough berries to live up to the name. Staff was warm and friendly. The space felt unfinished and an afterthought. It could have done with some energy or life.

I went to this place on a whim, and discovered a hidden gem. The food is beautiful and so incredibly tasty! I ordered the chilaquiles, with a green chicken chili that is just out of this world good! The cooks back there know how to do things right! All of the food is so good and reasonably priced for the amounts you get. Such a great local place. If you havent been, you gotta go!

Down in the cities taking my daughter and her cat to get spayed.... We had time to kill so I let her pick the restaurant. We came here because mimosas and her cats name is Beri. Well we were pleasantly surprised. Bottom mimosas are the way to go. Sweet potato hash was delicious. The french toast was amazing! Crepes were a work of art. Highly recommend. We will be making the trip back here soon.

Ive been eating at Berry Sweets almost every morning since I weve moved in next door. The food here a flavorsome and fresh. One of the best restaurants in Mpls.

This place is amazing! The waffles are crispy and delicious, the house made raspberry jam is sooo good, and the berries are fantastic. I had no idea a waffle could be so good. The crepes are perfect too. 12/10 definitely go here.

My first time there. I like the homey feel! The pancakes and scone were delicious! My friend had this Mexican type dish with eggs, and a delicious spicy sauce, chicken, and tortilla chips ( I forget the name). I had an omelette. It was pretty good. I would have liked it better if the omelette wasnt made with just the yolk. But, other than that, I would come back and try something else on the menu!! 😋😋😋

Visited at the recommendation of my Airbnb (its walking distance from where Im staying) and its cute! Feels diner-y but also isnt. I ordered the salmon scramble - I wouldve loved a hollandaise or cream cheese-based sauce as a side option, but the simplicity of the ingredients was delicious on their own! A LOT of food, I took most of it back to the airbnb.

Visiting Minnesota from Dallas and stumbled upon this place. Went to brunch and we had the Cuban breakfast and chilaquiles. Both were excellent and their home made toast is to die for. A hidden gem.

The wife and I found this spot for brunch and we couldn’t be more pleased with our meals. Mexican Omelet and Cuban Breakfast would have taken pics but we were too hungry lol.

My fiance and I ran into this place when we were visiting Minneapolis. This is a fantastic hole-in-the-wall place to visit! It is a family-run, military supporting, very friendly staff! We will definitely be back to visit this place. The food was fantastic, fresh, hot, and very flavorful! The banana French toast has a caramel cream sauce and a very mellow flavor. The breakfast burritos are huge for those men who eat four meals at each sitting. The lattes are exquisite! I used to work at a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop with authentic coffee and if I say its good its fantastic. We definitely recommend this to anybody that likes supporting family run businesses!

I love Berry Sweet Kitchen! Ive been several times now and every time I have to get the banana foster french toast. Its absolutely delicious. This is a great casual brunch place. You order at the counter, deli style and take a number to your table for food delivery. Beverages are self-serve, the food is quick and always good, and the workers are friendly--whats not to love?

A modest exterior hides brilliant breakfasts, from in-house jam to the best bacon Ive ever had I was impressed, and I didnt even have the chance to see the lunch menu before I had decided what I wanted!

Ive eaten here several times and enjoyed the smaller, family owned atmosphere. They make their own bacon. Awesome👍 They could be more inviting/ involved with their customers.

Bacon Alert! They have Some of the best bacon around, MPLS, Minnesota, the Midwest, yeah, it’s that good! 5 stars for the bacon alone. I can’t forget about the pancakes. Light and fluffy. Overall a 5 star breakfast experience! Can’t wait to visit again. Keep up the great service and food!

Go hungry because you get a TON of food and youre not going to want to stop eating it.Ive gotten omelettes both times Ive been here and they did not disappoint. My husband got the two egg and meat combo. In addition to the two eggs and meat, he got a pile of hashed browns, two giant pieces of toast, and a stack of pancakes. He loved it all and finished it all.Theyre also very supportive of the military, which is always really great.I will definitely go here again.

The place is nothing fancy. You order your food at the counter and it is brought to you, which in many ways I prefer. While there are many breakfast choices in Minneapolis, this is one you dont want to miss.

I found this place using the search guide on Google. It is located in an unassuming building but the flavor of the food and the great coffee more than made up for that. There was fresh walnuts, berries of all types including strawberry, blueberries and raspberries. I dont eat bacon normally but the donuts were freshly made so I went for it and it was sweet and savory so good! Will definitely try this place if I am ever in the Minneapolis area again

The french toast was to die for, no syrup needed. The sausage had an amazingly great flavor. Ordered a side of hash browns which were crisp and flavorful.

The berry waffle was loaded with fresh fruit and whipped cream!The banana french toast was delicious! In my opinion was the best dish of the morning! Was at a local ABNB and had breakfast there twice. A bit pricey but over all was pretty good.

Best brunch in the area. Friendliest owners/staff. You have to try the banana french toast. Its one of my favorite things to eat anywhere. Tried the biscuits and gravy this time, they were fantastic. Love their hash browns, onions inside. The huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito grande are delicious as well. Come hungry if you plan to finish that burrito though. Its a beast. That orange juice is to die for. Fresh squeezed daily, definitely recommend giving it a go. Not acidic like some places, just really good orange juice. Have been here a lot, have yet to be disappointed by any of the food. Seating can be tricky at peak brunch hours, but they do their best to get everyone a table and make sure you know theyre taking care of you when its busy.

Never had a bad experience here. It is great they serve breakfast and lunch all day. The owner is work wonderful. He definitely loves what he does and it shows. The food comes fast and it hot. Good pricing and large portions. The fact I can get fresh fruit as a side is a huge plus. I also love they have changing specials.

Came here on Mothers Day, they set up a brunch lunch. It was wonderful. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a nice hole in the wall bakery/breakfast diner.

Great Juicy Lucy! Beat the 5-8 Club hands down. Only downside: $13 was a bit expensive for a glorified cheeseburger, even with all the trimmings included. However, their chocolate cake with berry filling was moist & decadent, & the fruit salad was surprisingly sweet. The strawberry cheesecake was a bit lighter than I usually like, but it was flavorful.

3 times customer, 2 time bitten. I will not go back here. The person at the counter overcharged me for my order one time, when I corrected her (politely) she acted like it was my fault; rolled her eyes, asked for help with blame put on me. The second time the same cashier took my order to go and I was shorted on the gravy and the lids werent sealed tight and ended up spilling in the bag.In the pictures (3 biscuits 2 gravies with the spillage) the second picture is me pouring the gravy out of the bag so I could eat. I was starving and now I am furious. I am NEVER going back there. Unacceptable, trash tier service.

From the outside it does not look like much. You order you food at the counter and they will bring it out to you. We had their chilaquiles which were delicious! We also got their banana french toast which was amazing. Best french toast I had in a long time. Only recommendation is that the carmalize booth side of the banana pieces especially for the bigger pieces.

Worth the wait. Both savory and sweet items were delicious. Get one of each and share!

I discovered Berry Sweet Kitchen during the start of lockdown. If you havent ordered from them YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!!! Everything is made fresh from scratch. Portions are BIG and the food is consistent. Ive never had a bad order. Try the breakfast food.. the banana French toast or the berry crepes. The hashbrowns are seasoned perfection. Hungry for lunch? Order a burger or the chicken club. But honestly there isnt a bad item on the menu. I am a picky person for take out. Usually i end up disappointed and thinking - i could have cooked this better.
