I was told my purchase would ship within one day and arrive one day later due to my local address. It took four days to ship and an additional two days to deliver. I also never received a response to any of my email inquiries regarding my order, and when I called the phone would ring until the line disconnected. The website has little to no details about products, and the whole process was extremely vague and frustrating. Id honestly rather spend extra money to buy from somewhere with a higher level of professionalism and customer service.

Just BUY your books somewhere else, save yourself the trouble.

Got all the books you need but pretty expensive. Get your books on Amazon if possible. Pretty much just a fancy little place thats super expensive. Like every other college bookstore.

Its very nicely appointed with different supplies and school texts. Appropriately sized for the campus.

The people on the register move so slow,, it took me almost 2 hours to collect my books. I understand they trying to help however, its best to finish with one student and move to the nextThey would help 2 or 3 students at a time and at the end everyone waited more than usual. Hopefully this semester is different

Took forever to get my books

Everything necessary to be a successful OCCC student. Helpful staff,fairly priced .

I originally purchased books at this location for the courses i signed up for. After dropping these courses, i thought i would also be able to return the books. No. They offered to buy back the books instead for a fraction of what i paid. They ended up giving me $50 out of the $500 i paid. When i asked if i could please have a receipt of the transaction, the staff became extremely rude and said absolutely NOT. The manager then proceeded to come up to me very aggressively asking why i need a receipt for the transaction. Not feeling the need to explain myself, i said i want a copy of anything i put my signature on. The staff here is completely rude and aggressive. I do not recommend buying your college materials here, you will just be forced into unnecessary aggravation.

The Assistant Manager Scott was one of the most insulting people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. He would not let me finish a sentence while explaining my situation.

Dont buy your books from them or sell your books to them. This place charges too much for books. Just go online if your smart.

The people who work in the book store are great and very helpful

Its useful but very expensive. I would ask for a student discount or something maybe they give it. I would buy when they have things on sale but I dont know when they have things on sale. U have to find out yourself.

The service was ok. People were willing to help but the quality of service is horrible. Selling kits that are supposed to have X number of parts but are half complete. Some students being charged one price and other students a different for the same thing.

Last time I went here, the books were roped off. I asked an employee if I could just duck in and look at what books were required for my class. He went on for a painfully long time, talking around in circles. Eventually, I stopped him and firmly said that I just wanted a straight answer: Could I go take a quick look or not? He told me: no. Why? He couldnt give me a reason. I went online and got my books for pennies, compared to what I wouldve paid there (as I found out online, on the bookstores website). In addition to this, the school supplies are grossly overpriced. As if that werent enough, since the new administration came in, various places on campus have been transformed into profit-making machines. What used to be a lounge is now a bunch of uncomfortable chairs haphazardly tossed in front of a few fridges where people can buy things. The store is no different. Its filled to the brim with merchandise. If you walk by, OCCC-brand items are so plentiful that they almost form curtains over the windows. You know, just in case the cup of something you got at one of the fifty different vending locations runneth over with school spirit instead of a soft drink. Its shameless and repels me. I used to love this school. I used to shop at the school store. Neither of those things applies anymore.

Very expressive and the credit/debit card machine was down....not very nice.

Slightly overpriced but the financial aid integration is awesome. Go in get what you need, show your SUNY ID and your out the door!

In beginning of the year were students need their books and supplies, lines are out the door. They only have two to three registers in which most of the time one of the registers is broken or unused. Staff are very unknowlogible and or give wrong information. However mid year where no one steps into the store for any reason other than to buy a shirt the store is fine.

They have alot of things for school, the texts books when they run out of them I would rent your text books or go back to the book store to see if they have more. Also, buy things when they might have lower prices or sale because they are expensive.

Great Store for Merchandise to Rep your School

Do not bother going here for books, as there are other places to get them. You can rent them from numerous websites / services and save an enormous amount of money.
