Wow, I was going to consider coming into this place to have my scooter worked on but after reading the way the owner responds to the reviews, no way am I stepping foot into this establishment. Like one of the other comments said, I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism before. Absolutely despicable on so many levels. I seriously think this front desk lady might have mental health issues if she honestly believes for a second that this is an acceptable way to conduct business...especially in the United States. Best mechanic in Miami for Japanese motorcycles IMO

Ive been A customer of niv for about one year. If you ever have a scooter/ motorcycle issue. This is the place to come. Reasonable prices very friendly staff.

Immediately after the service my scooter on tires and oil change a ,becasue the so called mechanic did not put back correctly the muffler ,it causes for the muffler to fall on the road 45 minutes after I got the scooter back and while I was driving causing the pipe to break and almost cause an accident . I called them in order to make complaint and I was told to get a lawyer and sue them without taking any responsibility. They have also tried to make me an unnecessary repair for over $1000 . These people are not only incompetent on the highest level, they are also a scammers. Just check the other reviews and do yourself a favor not to any business with this company

Rude and insulting front desk lady. I went there to have the headlight replaced, after they complete the service and return the scooter I notice the light bulb still didnt work properly. So I go back inside and asked them if they could take a look at it again because the bulb still didnt work. The front desk lady started yelling a false accusation and insulting me saying...Weve told you of this problem before. This is why Ive kicked you out of here before, because we tell you things and your react with a stupid and crazy look!I was caught off guard because theyve never told me of any problems before, and Ive never been kicked out from there or any place before in my entire life. I have no idea where she came up with that story.But her behavior did not surprise me because I have witnessed her be disrespectful and very unprofessional to other costumers in my previous visits.Even after I replied in a calm tone that Ive been respectful and simply came in for a service she didnt even apologize. The owner and main mechanic witnessed the situation and offered to check it again and was able to fix it right the second time at no extra charge, thanks for this.But next time Ill just go somewhere that the front desk is more respectful and dont insult costumers.

They are great! I bought my scooter there and regularly go to get my scooters oil changed there, they know what they are doing, knowledgeable, professional, fast and are very honest people with fair prices. Great service every time, and is a local business! Its a scooter dealership and workshop so its convenient too.

Poor customer service. Called to ask for a price and refused to give me a quote for a simple tire change when I had all specifications of the tire I needed. The lady cited that it was company policy that they couldnt release prices over the phone. So I just went another shop were they were glad to help me over the phone.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with over the phone. You can definitely tell is a mom and pop small business with how poorly they deal with people. Me being bilingual I didn’t mind repeating myself in Spanish when the lady who answered didn’t understand but I guess she was so busy she got agitated over the phone with me, got angry and passed the phone to another lady. I told her the part I needed and she gave me attitude as well saying she can’t help me when it was as simple as typing in the make and model of my bike to confirm that you had it after telling me your store sells it....your reply to this review makes no sense. No one is discriminating anyone. I’m calling your store out for it’s bad service.

I dont write reviews often, but these guys are so great I am compelled to do so.I have been coming here for years. Nivaldo and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. From the moment you walk in you are treated with genuine kindness, professionalism and respect. They are bilingual in English and Spanish. They provide a range of services, be it regular maintenance or repairs. I have used them for both. They always do a diagnostic and go over their findings in detail before doing anything. They have performed miracles on my old, not so great Chinese scooter. They are extremely honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend NIV Motorcycles for all of your 2 wheeled lifestyle needs. Worst experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. Like many of the other comments on here...these guys deceived me completely. Not trustworthy at all. I was quoted on a price then charged a whole different number. Then the parts break just out of warranty and they didnt own up to it at all; I had to pay for everything repair-wise...as if it were a completely new job. Wouldnt recommend these guys to my worst enemy. Calling these guys will likely result in nothing but a huge headache.UPDATE: 4 years later, my scooter’s engine blew. When I took it to a trusted local mechanic, he told me that whoever did the motor upgrade on my scooter a few years prior (NIV) did something wrong. And now my scooter is wasted.Just more proof that these people are j no or deserving of anyone’s business. How these folks are still in business is mind-boggling.

The lady who answered the phone is the most rude and disrespectful person I’ve ever come across for customer service. All I wanted was a price for a CDI for a 50cc scooter and she told me $150-200 when the best cdi cost anywhere from $8-20 dollars max.

Not worth it. Repair on carburator failed in 2 hours of use. Rude, Rude, Rude, front personnel wouldnt offer to correct mistake or even check if it was their fault. Upfront insinuated there would be more charges after a $350 bill. They treat you dealership style. Go somewhere where you can connect with the repair people not this shielding csr that doesnt care. Went somewhere else and they found that carburator float was stuck. Bad vibes is right not going back ever. The mechanic seemed knowledgeable but under pressure.

To begin with I purchased a Vespa GTV 300 i.e. From Vespa in Miami Beach. After a few attempts to get service and not been satisfied with it. I decided to visit NIV Motorcycles Inc and after a home feel like welcome, they offered the same service that was quoted by Vespa in Miami Beach for over hundred dollars more and a 5 hour service. NIV Motorcycle got it done in a couple of hours although they had over 7 mechanics, the owner himself did the service plus replacement of tire, he ask me to drive it and if I found anything wrong to bring it back. Yes I did went back only to complement the very good work he has done, and how grateful I was, and pleased. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend this shop for all your motorcycle needs, One important thing place of busses A1A family operated.

It is the worst Motorcycle Mechanic in Miami, it charges you to do the service but it does not. It pretends that I changed parts of your bike but it doesnt either. Your motorcycle is better off at a dealer than a person like that, he blatantly steals from you.He charged me twice to do the memo service and never fixed my bike.
