This location went above and beyond to satisfy me and to make sure I had the correct prescription and I could see perfect with my new glasses. Laura and Yamila were excellent and showed their vast experience and great customer service. I highly recommend it.

I havent even gone to this place yet and already had a bad experience with the guy on the phone, he wouldnt give me a fair price and left me waiting for a response and couldnt even take my insurance, they already lost a potential client, now I am going somewhere else.

Very professional customer service and excellent doctor consultation. There is an optometrist office inside the optic store. Lots of frames available for every age, for males, females and kids. Love this place which is my favorite for this kind of service.

Been a patient here for a few years, however most recently I have experienced horrible service from Dr. Mesa’s assistant. I have called twice to schedule an appointment and I get told I will get a call back, but no one calls back. I call in today, same situation, except this time I didn’t wait until the next day. Upon calling them back (because they probably weren’t going to) I explain that I have made several attempts to schedule appointments but have had no luck and no call backs. They advised they don’t have any appointments available for almost 2 weeks. I then asked for a trial pair of contacts to hold me off until the appointment date, but they couldn’t do that either! I told the rep I would have to go to another Dr. for a quicker exam and she replied “ok bye”. I guess that’s how you treat long time patients. I ended up calling visionworks and sure enough got booked for next day and they advised that they wouldn’t allow me to stay without contacts and they offer their patients a trial under those circumstances! Much better service. If you’re looking for good service, Stay away from this location!! Take your business/insurance/money elsewhere!

Dont be blinded by the advertising, or by the mostly genial and competent staff. Their contract lab service is horrible - it took them three times (and over six weeks wait) for them to get the prescription correct (the staff acknowledged their multiple errors, to be fair). Friendly customer appeal is no good if the company operates on the cheap...and they are definitely cheapskates. Youll get competitive prices nearly everywhere else - theres a Mom and Pop (non-franchise) eye store about five blocks east on Coral Ways north side, for instance, and weve taken our business to them. You can get there in the blink of an eye.

For Eyes has exceptional service and really helped out my daughter in a pinch when she needed a trial sample quickly. Thank you very much - highly recommend!!

Bad place to do the eye Lens, they will provide you with the wrong information about your eye, secondly your glasses will be badly which you will not allow to see normally and this will cause a damage to your eye, then they will make you going several times due that there is not manager or assistant manager that can assist you with your needs or issues. I will not recommended to anyone at all.

Disappointed in the lack of communication. The doctor’s assistant had me use a machine to take pictures of my eyes instead of getting my eyes dilated. What she didn’t mention is my insurance didn’t cover this test and I had to pay out of pocket for it. I wish she would have communicated prior that there was an extra charge so I could refuse this service.

Worst customer service ever! I spent my day calling this place only to be placed on hold for 10min+ every time. Sometimes they didnt even have the courtesy to say hello and would place me straight into a hold. I left several voice mails that were unanswered. When they finally did pick up the phone (I called > 10 times!) they told me they arent taking my insurance and it will have to be out of network even though they are listed as a provider with my insurance. Called again and they changed their story saying they arent taking any insurance until the end of the month. Stay away from this place!

Great experience. Dr. Mesa was quick and direct. Was in and out in under half an hour. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Great place for all your optical needs. Wonderful staff. I have a difficult prescription and came in with a special request. Yamila, the manager, worked with me and made the right recommendations. She is really a step above exceptional, very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. She is truly an asset to the Company.

Im thrilled to know my favorite opthamologist, Dr Carlos Mesa, has continued his practice still close to home. Ive been seeing him since 03 and have trusted my eyes as well as loved ones eyes to him. I highly recommend anyone to have a an eye check up with him. He is thorough in his examination which when it comes to our eyes a definite must.

Worst place ever visit, they do not give you the right glasses at all. They also tell you the wrong thing about your eyes, they try to sale that is all, they don’t care about you, all what they care is to make money out of you. Besides they makes you go as many times if you face an issues, the managers are not there neither has an assistant that you can count . Terrible I will not refer to anyone

The DR. service may be fine but if you expect them to honor an appointment forget about it. They have no respect for your time or the meaning of appointment .The first time I went they made me wait more than an hour. The second time I told them when I made the appointment about that experience and to call me ahead of time if they could not keep it or needed to make another time as I only live 10 minutes away,But no, I show up and someone is in the chair and another walk in in front of me so I had to leave to make MY time commitments to my customers.Apparently they do not consider your time to be valuable so I vote with my $ and will never go to another For Eyes.

Dr. Mesa is very knowledgeable and caring. He takes his time with you and will answer any questions you have. I definitely recommend him

I dont think Ill ever go anywhere else again!!! I dont have insurance so I payed $74 for my eye exam but they do everything there! The gentleman at the front desk is very kind and helpful and didnt seem one bit bothered by the fact that I called 2 or 3 times for directions. The Dr is amazing! Hes very kind as well and explains everything! He told me he saw some some type of cataract or something in my eye thats been there since birth yet no other Dr ever had told me this before and Ive used glasses for almost 20 years!!! I decided to buy my glasses there as well with the help of a young lady by the name of Yamila. Definitely best customer service EVER! She showed me glasses that looked well on me and was still what I was looking for and then even helped me pick out sunglasses which I absolutely loved and Im not a sunglass person. This is definitely the place to go to!!!!P.S. even though theyre located on coral way which is famous for lack of parking youll never have that problem because they have their own little parking in the back :-)

Best customer service and they can do electronic testing on the eyes without dilating. Very reasonable prices... I used my FSA card, but I believe it was about $150 for all tests, prescriptions, etc, which I though was extremely reasonable. The Dr. showed me my test results and explained what he looks for to detect glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc. I will go here forever!!

The doctor was amazing.. but ..The staff for selling the glasses had a bad attitude. 3 sales ladies, 2 customers. One sales lady worked and the other two went off in a back room on their phones. They didnt care a customer was waiting.Finally a sales lady Vanessa came up to me. Very smug. I told her I never had glasses before, told her I dont know much about glasses..Instead of being helpful she just ask me about insurance.I asked a glasses question..She asked for my insurance info again.I told her med eye...She said she never heard of that one. Looked like I said something wring. She was frusterated about me wanting to look at the glasses vs giving her my perscription and insurance info. I told her I was trying to ask questions before committing to buy from this store.My insurance was eyemed not medeye. I mixed it up... Vanessa made me feel like an idiot for the mixup. Literally treated me like an inconvenience, and left me feeling bad for mixing up the insurance name.Some of the things I asked, she made it seem like it should be obvious, or that I should already know the answers. I explained again I never had glasses, and didnt know how any of the ordering worked. The moment she took my insurance info and snatched my perscription she ran to her PC vs trying to help me more. She assumed the sale of the glasses before I committed to anything. She tried to pick out glasses she liked vs what I wanted. She continued to make me feel dumb for taking pics of glasses to send my husband for his advice.Her total for 1 pair of glasses with insurance paying for the frame was over $500.I left without ordering anything as the vibe was bad, she kept trying to say I needed to order from her. Said she already had the order set (to a frame I didnt care for) and asked me to confirm for her to set the order. Over all it was pushy, unfriendly, assuming alot... and while I was clear I was not set on any frame just yet and still had questions 3 other cuscustom came in, and the other 2 sales girls ignored everyone sitting in the back. Vanessa tried to greet everyone which was good... but the tension from other customers didnt help anything. I left... went online... and for a similar pair of glasses with perscription lens and with transition lenses, anti glair, scratch for $98 shipped. Online prices are way better. I ordered a 2nd pair of glasses last night, coach brand glasses with all the works as well for my perscription and it cost $172 shipped. The coach glasses at foreyes was $239 just for the frame, $300 for lenses, $98 for transition lenses, $35 for scratch resistance, $35 for anti glair... Ill stick to online to avoid the pushy sales people with rude attitudes.

This is the best For Eyes optical in all the Miami area. I needed my glasses to be adjusted because they are progressive and on top of that my prescription is very high. So, I visited For Eyes in Aventura, Miami Beach and Sweetwater, none of them were able to solve the problem. I am so glad I went to this location. The Manager and all of her staff are friendly, helpful and kind. They never let me feel guilty of having such a difficult and not that easy prescription. Thank you all...God bless you! Bad, bad experience we never eat come back .... the prescription was wrong 3 times, its too expensive place .... my husband and I have had to return 3 times because the recipe is wrong or we could not use the eyeglasses after having paid almost $ 1500 x 2 pairs of glasses and have been more than 5 hours for the service and be clients x 3 years, I do not recommend anyone to go through this situation, look for information on other options and not for eyes .....
