I can not say enough about my experience with Mavex and Mike in particular. Bought a boat and knew the generator had to be replaced and I struggled with several suppliers of the brand to get answers on getting the correct replacement. Soon as I talked to Mike he told me he would get it figured out. Not only did he get it figured out he promptly gave me a great price. Man of his word and great communication. Would highly recommend this company.

As a female boat owner I was expecting to have to pay higher prices to service my boat. However, at Mavex my experience was entirely the opposite! Not only were their prices fair but the service they provided was over the top. I highly recommend Mavex to all of my boater friends and they too have experienced superior service. If your serious about great service and reliable parts Mavex is a one-stop shop.

I have worked with Mavex several times for the past 4 years servicing my 2014 36 Chris Craft Corsair Hardtop with my Volvo engines. Despite of some issues on scheduling visits before holidays, I never had any major issues. Few months ago I had an issue on the Drives and called Marcus for an estimate. Mario (The Tech) was very quick to schedule the visit. I was present during the inspection and he told me that the Steering Sensor was demaged and had to be replaced. They charged me $353,00 for the visit, and the whole service would cost aprox $5.000. Three weeks ago I contacted Marcus to schedule the service since I was sending my boat for a bottom paint renewal and so he could take advantage of the fact that the boat was at the yard and out of the water. After phone conversations, he left me hanging for 3 weeks with the promisse of I will go tomorrow !, I will call you later to confirm, Sorry Mario was in Mexico, Sorry I forgot... and so on ! After reaching him out once on his mobile he started sending those Pre-set messages Sorry, I cant talk right now... Today I contacted Volvo directly and reported the service. I am also going after my $350,00 legally, plus the daily fee that I am been charged by the Yard where my boat is right now. I run a business myself and I understand we can ll be busy, but respecting clients should be standard. Just say: Sorry, I wont be able to help you within 1 month, if you cannot wait I can refer you to my friends at JAS Marine, APEX Marine, Austral Intl... That is how you are supposed to represent a brand like VOLVO and respect its clients.
