I went there by myself and the guys working were incredibly honest about which frames best fit my face. They also gave me my space to look and werent hovering over my shoulder trying to up-sell me on any frames. I incredibly appreciated their honest opinion! This store has a great selection of frames and lens options for less than I have researched elsewhere. I got all my questions answered from the doctor and even though he didnt spend much time with me, I guess he didnt need to because I got my glasses and have been wearing them the past week and LOVE them. I had no idea how much I was struggling to see until now...because I can see so much clearer! I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Ive had glasses & contacts forward x 45 years. This is THE worst of my life! The first who fitted me, was new, & talking about her life. Both she & the Mgr were running to music. Order done. She said theyd come in 7-10 business days. I had asked her before order complete, if I pay now. She said no. My mom came over from getting her hair done to see me in them, & approvedMom just had heart surgery, was tired. Unbeknownst to me she wanted to pay, but said she was tired & would pay when they came in. I had called my husband in Seattle to pay for them & have them shipped, because of vocal cord paralysis. Thats when they said they had no record. She was rude to hubby & mom. When I came in today,.I inquired briefly. She rudely said, the lights are off. Im going to lunch. So, I did come back. I was trying to find them again. No help. She just watched me struggle & snapped her gum, & when I had to write on paper, & lean on desk as Id have back problems, she rolled her eyes! She said last gal quit after only a week! I would too, if she was my mgr. I was looking for a camera. This had to be a prank, or SNL skit. Sadly not. I said if I get them, can you ship, as Im going back to Seattle, & hard for mom to get here. Ahh, I dunno..its kinda hard. We really dont like to do it, & arent really set up for it! WOW! AWFUL?

My family and I which consist of 6 have been clients of JCP Optical for many yearssss even through the company name changes! I took my daughters in for their yearly exam a couple days ago. From the moment we walked in we werent greeted we addressed them. They then proceeded to ask me if I had vision ins. I answered with a yes....they jumped back and said rudely we cant find your kids in the system so basically could I go figure it out and return another day..I gave them my info and asked if that would help them but they continued with attitude like I am wasting their time. So instead of getting to the bottom of the problem I had to contact my insurance company to get them the info that they should of taken care of themselves. They still proceeded to be unhelpful after getting them what they needed. One of the workers started wiping down the checkout desk area and made a rude comment that they wouldnt be getting off until late now. Dont waste your time or money with these rude people! Find a friendly and inviting place that cares to take care of your families vision needs!!!!!

The lady acted like we were bothering her. Picked out my frames and asked the one of the ladies there as they were both sitting at a table. One lady acted like i had two heads and the other lady indicated the previously mentioned lady did all the computer entering and glasses fitting. Everything gets entered...now mind you i verified the lenses were within their 2 pairs for 99$ INCLUDING no line bifocals..ie progressive lenses. Now i did not add anything extra to the lenses. She comes back with a final price of 349$..say whaaaat?. She then proceeds to tell me that each lens, not each pair of lenses is 140$...but she was nice and gave me a discount...screw her...wont be back until shes gone nor will my daughter...

I visited the optical department on Wed 1-6-16. I was greeted and had my questions answered quickly. I did not need an exam so found the frames I liked. Samantha helped narrow down a few choices and we ordered what I needed. I found my experience very pleasant. Thank you very much! I would recommend thisJCP optical to all my friends and family.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If youre in need of a new contacts prescription I urge you not to go here and waste your hard earned money paying $109 only to be told your prescription hasnt changed year after year. If youve been wearing contacts and have no problems download the Simple Contacts app on your smartphone, pay $10 for an exam and then pay half the price youd pay for contacts here! Sorry eyecare stores the days of ripping people off are over!!!!

I went in on Monday and absolutely loved it! Found glasses that i loved right away. Samantha Lee helped me, and she was amazing! She was very kind, quick and her personality just glowed! She gave me an awesome deal on a pair of glasses AND sunglasses! She made the whole process super easy, and is even going to ship my glasses to my house since i live out of town! I felt bad for her though, because she had a broken leg and nobody was in the front to help her, so she had to walk back and forth from the front desk to the seating area answering phones, etc. I saw another woman, not sure of her name but had short, blonde hair and was a bit on the taller side. She was super friendly and professional! Overall, great customer service and i plan on coming back for my next pair in a couple of years. Also, i LOVE JCPs protection plan, only $20, and if i break or damage my glasses they will replace them for only $24, good for a year after purchasing! Awesome!!

I would really like to give this office a -10 but sadly I’m forced to give 1 star. I was asked to arrive for my appointment by 3:30. I walked in at 3:30 and checked in, filled out my paper work then began looking at glasses, I had scheduled an eye glass appointment. The Dr. was currently seeing a lady and took his time. Following her appointment her husband was then seen. At 4:30 while I was texting on my phone I over heard one of the three receptionists say, “is he leaving? He still has a patient.” I immediately looked up to see the Dr. walking out of the office and down the hallway. All three receptionists sat there, until I finally stood up and said, “could somebody stop him? I’ve been waiting for an hour.” There was a hesitation by all three receptionists until one of them got up and went to the hallway calling his name. He at first did not turn around. Finally, she was able to get his attention and informed him he couldn’t leave because he still had a patient. He said, “I’m leaving, I can’t stay late.” He then continued to leave and she returned to the office to inform us all of what he said. I’m not quite sure what he meant by late because it was 4:30 PM. She then approached me and apologized asking if I would like to reschedule. I told her I just started work and can only come Saturdays. She asked if she could look at next Saturday for an appointment and I said yes. Then she says, “sorry no appointments next Saturday but we can get you in on the 9th.” I left very angry. I will be calling the Nationwide Corporate Office on Monday morning to report what occured today. I am very unimpressed with the doctor and office staff. Never have I ever had a doctor leave when I had made an appointment AND waited patiently for an hour to be seen. I am highly unimpressed with the office staff who had to be asked to stop the doctor in the hallway AFTER he had walked by each of them on his way out. And, the lack of true costumer service. I just started working as a teacher & am having a hard time seeing the board. I was there for a real reason today. Very disappointing & very upseting. :(

Great Job JC Penny Staff!!!!! Only took 4 tries and an extra 35 days to get me my contacts. Even better, Ayo claims he called for pickup; too bad even the phone company cant find a record of that call. Strange? Not with you!!! In the future, flip the script, under promise and OVER DELIVER.

I will never go here again. I got there 10 minutes early and 30 minutes after my appointment still not seen. Ended up walking out.
