USED TO BE GOOD. EVERY SINGLE TIME Ive come here the last few months theres no carts available, garden center closed and just very unorganized.Like you dont have cart runners? You dont have 70 employees walking around doing nothing? Or are they pulling for online orders? WHICH I may add didnt work when you call to advise arrival. You HAVE to check in on app. Over it. Wont be coming back.

They had everything I wanted at the best price in town, if you dont like their business model you wont be able to shop anywhere else. Just go and find what you want and get the best price in town.

Was quite frustrated with this location lately. 3rd attempt to cash in a couple arizona lottery tickets, which must be done in lane 9 only. All three times I waited 15 minutes in line because of the lack of checkouts open. Fine with that. Each time I get to the head of the line the cashier tells me they dont know how to do this. First why would you put a cashier on the only lane that can do it and not give them any training.Each time took about 10 more minutes for a team lead to be flagged down for help. Once they stopped socializing with their friends of course. Team lead says they dont know how to do them either. So now I have the cashier in the only lane that can do it not knowing how, but also the next person in authority not trained either. In order to sell these you have to be able to cash them.Not the end of the world but frustrating as heck.

Bugs in there animal food. I have been trying to call for 30 minutes to get someone to answer phone...so they know their food is bad...and no answer. Walmart is going down hill....all the self check outs and only 1 or 2 registers open. The shoppers they have for their pick up orders are rude. ( 1 nice older gentleman doing the shopping is always nice and interactive with customers...the others are rude...get in shoppers way )

I like this location, I just wish we had a 24 hrs Walmart again... Like we did before COVID.

Typical Walmart, really.... like 25 registers... but only ONE for cash purchases.... handfulls of employees socializing... the line is ridiculous I have 4 things and I forgot my card at home.. Then I get to the parking lot and theres a dog locked in a car with no open windows.... ten min go by... do u think any of the MANY idle associates could be bothered to answer the telephone so the owner could be called out for this poor dog. News flash: Walmart prices arent really lower anymore so your going to have to work at giving people a reason to come stand in your stupid long lines instead of getting it from Amazon tomorrow... for less money!

Wednesday I was leaving & hit the curb as I turned, when I stopped to look at tire, I seen I had a big problem! Tire was split (put off buying new ones), I didnt have road service (put that off too) I went back to the tire shop of Walmart and talked to an employee, he told me to drive it back and they would look to see if they could put my spare on. Noah was the mechanic that helped, and he was able to put the donut on, he was very helpful. Bringing the husband back and hopefully Noah will be there to help us choose the best tires. Grateful for where this happened and grateful for Noahs expertise!

Hate Walmart and hate when I have to shop there because the item isn’t found elsewhere. I went for a Baby Shark toothbrush you can’t find anywhere else. 3 stores to find it.I hate that they don’t require masks for customers and can never find anyone to help.Their self serve check out is literally hell itself.

I am like the millions that despise the self-checkout. This Corporation is making billions off of the back of its employees and faithful customers. They can afford to bring in people that will scan and bag your items. This is nothing but corporate greed at its finest. They forgot what its like to be a single mom with children and a cart load of groceries and having to scan your items personally. Its absolutely ridiculous that this company allows this to happen. I hope they go down and go down fast. There will always be another Corporation to pick up the slack by offering good customer service at a reasonable price. This concept is nothing new except now it doesnt come from Walmart!

Love Wal Mart but theyre lacking people with any knowledge. I like to get an answer when I ask a question. They need to train people to work in a specific area so they can answer your questions. And also the Employees should take the initiative to learn where things are in case someone needs assistance.

This one of the dirtiest stores I’ve ever been too…. Nasty floors etc, Plus every time I come in they don’t have stock shelves, customer service is horrible, to be honest I don’t think management knows what the hell they’re doing… I worked there for a little bit back in the day, was a lot nicer back then…. But at one point I did see a rat in produce. FYI customers stay away from this store… They also stock out dated items.

Apparently they dont take cash at all. First it was just self check out and now no lanes will accept cash. None of the employees know how to handle customer service needs and dont know how to get a hold of a manager. 4 different people couldnt get a manager for me. On my way out a greeter told me they could take cash if it was exact change. But the other 3 say no cash in the entire store.. WHY DOES A WALMART SUPER CENTER NOT TAKE CASH? Unbelievable. Literally a $5 bill they would not accept.

I use to love Walmart... It seemed, no matter where I went I could always find what I needed. Parking lot was clean, I couldnt find any shopping carts...had to go outside. Shelves were pretty empty, lots isle ways were clutter free. I went through self-check, the register kept making mistakes. But, the lady working in that section was very friendly and quickly responded to register errors. All-in-all not a bad experience, employees I did encounter were friendly.Nice, safe, family store.

I was in the Scan & Go line when it was my turn to check out, two women slightly younger than me came up and stood right behind me the whole time. I turned and looked at them and one of them asked me was I uncomfortable with them and I said yes standing right there while Im paying of course I am. they obviously didnt care because they didnt move back in line

They never have enough checkout registers open, they want you to do self checkout. I dont work for Walmart and Im not going to checkout my stuff myself, today they had two lanes open and the lines were ridiculous

Out of stock of some sporting goods items. Store is clean and organized. I like that they have quite a few self checkouts and the equipment is easy to use—not like when there used to be a beep all the time and something would ring up wrong and you’d have to wait for a cashier.

Its Walmart, what more is there to say!! Except, always go to a cashier instead of self checkout!! Every time you go to self checkout, your taking another job from a cashier!!!

My wife had got a twin mattress bed in the box for my father-in-law. We needed the twin XL because its an adjustable bed. That Walmart in Mesa on McKellips has to have been the fastest in the least restrictive for taking something back. Truly a pleasure great job maam

So many products were not in stock, only one live Human cashier was checking groceries. All the other self-operated checkouts were open. When youre buying a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries and goods, is it really fair to have to scan and bag your own groceries? Isnt the price of a cashier built into the cost for the products? I swear, Id rather pay higher prices at Safeway or Albertsons, at least I get a real human and a courtesy clerk to help me with my bags to the car.

Ridiculous self check out lanes where apparently no lanes at all take cash. It was a hassle just trying to buy my groceries. They are always out of stock no matter what department youre in. I always regret coming to this Walmart.

Wal-Mart always has Bananas from green ( husbands favorite ) 2 nice & yellow (my favorite). The craft paint is $.54 cents while at Hobby Lobby same bottle is $1.25 ! Wonderful selection of TV dinners for wives who are tired of cooking & doing dishes. Great Selection of Eye Drops if U live in the hot, hot Arizona summer.

Good sized boxes of veggie egg rolls 😋👌costs less than other stores.

TLDR: Don’t buy paint here. Don’t buy forest passes here. Don’t do pick up orders here. Grocery trips are fine. Produce is decent, but check ALL of your berries for mold.- 1⭐️It takes 20-30min of waiting at the paint counter, and 3 different employees calling over the radio before you get anyone at the counter. Then they mix your paint wrong and it doesn’t match the paint they mixed you 2 days prior.- 1⭐️It takes 30min of waiting at sporting goods, and who knows how many employees calling over the radio for the guy to get there to tell you that the forest passes aren’t in stock. 🤦🏼‍♀️- 1⭐️I have never waited shorter than 20min for my pre-paid pickup order. Yes I check in on my way, and when I arrive. No, it doesn’t make a difference. And no, my toddlers will not chill in a parked car for that long.

Shopping was fine, but on a Sunday Morning they should have more than 3 registers open. They have self serve lanes but they were all backed up, and I had a full cart.

Very large store. I could not get into the Garden area from the parking lot. Have to go thru Pharmacy entrance. Very impressive. Alot of fire exits at the garden area. Great exercise walking. Also, carts are available to push.

Horrible store, horrible customer service. Apparently, the entire store does not accept cash period. I waited in multiple lines, and was directed in a circle of different associates who simply had no answers for where I could pay with cash. They could not find a manager, which is mind blowing. And on top of that, every single associate was absolutely rude and condescending. I will never shop with Walmart again period. Not to mention the last time I pulled out cash back and accidentally forgot it as the store was closing. I went back to get it as I was the last person at the self checkout, and they told me I could not get my money. They literally stole $80 from me and would not return it at any time or way shape of form. Walmart is the worst place to shop and has zero customer service. Pay the extra buck and shop at target. 😎

Snatched up a grip a school supplies here! It was kind of scattered but hey at least we were smarter than most parents were running out this weekend and next weekend which is last minute legit hahahaWe were able to find everything we needed in under an hour and our list had quite an extensive amount of things on it for our fifth grader LOL.The store was sparsely stocked with employees but had a ton of school supplies and clothing for us to peruse. However the employees that were there were professional and nice. Had a great experience here will definitely be back. School supplies

Their motor vehicle department is a complete joke. I’ve called 7-8 times just to be connected to their customer service department that has “no clue” where any of their employees are that is able to help me with a simple question. Absolutely no ownership or initiation in coming up with a solution. A joke of a foundation.

This Walmart has gone drastically downhill in the last few months. The service used to be solid, now it’s dirty and slow!I’ve recently been using their Wal-Mart pickup option to “save time”. Three experiences:1st: Several items missing from my order. Had to call the 800 number to get a refund for five missing items.2nd: Time slot selected, 30min before pickup window received a message my order was delayed. Never received an update after that. Called the store to see if it’s ready. Manager advised me it had been ready the whole time. Arrived and call in the parking spot for pickups and had to wait over 30 minutes in the parking lot sitting in my car for them to bring my items out.3rd: Waiting in the car as I write this review. They’ve brought out groceries to two cars that have come after me. Order took 19minutes to bring out from the time the manager confirmed someone was on their way.  My credit card was double charged for the order because when I added an item, the store charged me for the full order the first time and again the full order again the second time with the one extra item.Two Questions:1. What is going on behind the scenes in this store that so many issues are occurring?2. Who is running this team because from what I see there is zero organization, zero discipline, zero follow-through, zero quality and it’s costing me more time and headache than benefit at this point. Find a NEW manager to run the team who can actually meet time slot deadlines, get staff hustling, delivering to cars in the order they arrive and proper updates in the app and messages.Literally, the worst possible outcome for trying something out that is supposed to add convenience and save time.  It has been completely ineffective in accomplishing either goal and I am officially done with Walmart Pickup thanks to this incredibly crappy store.

Empty shelves and only 2 registers open with more than 10 people in line. This store has been like this for the last few months. It may cost a little more but its worth every penny to just go to frys or Albertsons.

Went for 2 pick orders. They cancelled my orders without sending an email or any form of notification. The pick up staff was rude and curt, the assistant general manager was more so. He offered no resolution and was over all flippant about the whole ordeal. The only silver lining was the store managers. They went out of there way to try to resolve it but unfortunately were overridden by the gm. If you can avoid it, maybe head to another Walmart with better service.

Next to no selection. Very little staff. Three registers take cash and one shut down. Need to start shopping at frys or winco. Walmart is good if you need clothes or electronics but that’s about it.

This good for any type of groceries and miscellaneous items for the family. It also has a pharmacy. A lot of varieties for food and snacks etc., are there.

I was in this store during my lunch break today. Said hello to the greeter who did not greet me. Spent over $100.00 on fishing supplies. As I was leaving I walked past the greeter a middle aged blond chick on the east side of the building, same greeter I pasted by on the way in. She started stomping toward me asking to see my receipt I told her I had paid for my things. She continued aggressively walking toward me and was inches away from me, I thought she was about to grab my arm. She nastily whispered at me to not come back. I told her to get her manager she told me to get one myself as she hurried away. This chick new she was in the wrong. Had I not had to go back to work I sure would have gotten a manager. I tried to call the store several times and tried all the options, the phone just rings, I am not surprised given the kind of scum they have working for them! I WILL be back at the store after work to return my purchase and will never return to this store again. I will avoid any walmart in the future. I will not be treated treated this way.

One of the better Walmarts in the area in Mesa you should have correct clearance pricing stickers but not always of course I love finding heading gems clearance deals mixed in with all the regular stuff LOL so Im fine with it store employees are very nice and helpful and the stories usually very clean

Honestly I hate this chain store. Their ethics leave alot to be desired! Like the rate of pay for their employees & the treatment of their employees. Besides the fact they run the mom & pop businesses out of business especially in smaller communities. But in this instance they had what I needed on hand at that moment when I was in a hurry due to special circumstances.

It was my first time in this Walmart Supercenter and I had a good overall experience. The place is So well lit that I almost needed my sunglasses. Haha!Seriously tho, I did enjoy my time there and had no problems while there. Well, maybe with the layout, just because I wasnt used to it and it was such a huge store. I do recommend, just make sure you can remember where youre at in the store and where you parked, because, like I said, its a huge store!Hope this helps!✌️❤️

Always a pleasant time, like any Wal-mart it has its quirks, but as a whole, Im never disappointed. Ive had one time where the CS assoc slipped on cash back instead of store credit, but even though I barely got there before 10pm and I had other returns that were store credit, things happen. Service was still professional and friendly and I didnt even realize it till after the fact! Normally the crowd is light to medium regardless of the time and day(holidays excluded).

This is absolutely the worst Walmart EVER!!!! The rudest workers, stand around talking, doing nothing. Their online grocery pickers are the worst, cant bother to find items and half your groceries never make it to your car. And God forbid you ask for a store manager!!!! How and why this store is still open...

Purchased an item, got home and it was the wong one, went immediately to exchange it and even with a current reciept the option to do so was not honored.

Well where do i start customers beware of this walmart i worked at this location for a few days beware of management they train there employees to tell the customer no on merchandise even though they have it in the backroom ALSO BEWARE UNSAFE FOOD PRACTICES IN GROCERY THIS IS REALLY THE WORST WALMART IN MESA. There is very few that care at this location very sad.

Its Walmart. I was there to find an ice chest and camping supplies. I was not disappointed.

This Walmart was pretty clean. People were very respectful of your space. The only issue that I saw was some lights being out in certain cases. Also some parts of the grocery area seem dirty.

Walmart is convenient and carries an extensive line of food and about anything else your heart desires.

What can I say? Walmart is great! It always has pretty good deals and pretty much everything you need in the same store! Theres some things that are better at other places, but convenience and price usually wins out in the end for me. Im grateful that there are so many walmarts around!

A group of volunteers were ringing bells at the red kettles for The Salvation Army at the East and West doors. The people going in and out were charitable and they enjoyed our bell ringing and music.

Had trouble getting my SSI check cashed. The staff was good but their computers were horrible.

This is my go-to Walmart. Employees are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean and organized. Definitely would recommend shopping here.

Store is never organized or stocked. Customer service is not great. The Deli area is always down all the time, they say the cutter doesnt work? Hummmm....

This Walmart is one of those walmarts where u may see things you or your children should not have seen ever but other than that the rollback prices are fantastic...and they had a blackout special because they forgot to pay the electric bill and they kicked everyone out

This store is always out of stock on merchandise. The shelves are always empty no matter what part of the store you go in. I worked for Walmart for over 20 years and I dont remember the stores being so out of stock.

Order online and pick up from this Walmart location regularly. Makes it easy to get my to do list done without getting out of my car. Love it!!

Good morning crew at this location is the absolute Best location for grocery pick up!!!!! Manny the team lead is absolutely phenomenal. He truly defines the definition of exceptional customer service and going above and beyond. He has made a loyal customer out of me for the second time. I cannot express enough how amazing the morning crew at this location is. And the customer service is always exceptional which unfortunately seems to be something rare these days. So thank you to the morning crew and to Manny for how you all take care of your customers these five stars are for you all. I wish the afternoon/night crew could get some good training from you guys. This is the best thing ever! The Walmart employees that bring your groceries out to your car are always friendly and helpful and they try to load them with care. Theyre the best!

Saw some manager named Kiri or Kini or something yelling at other managers being completely unprofessional. Came in to get an oil change done (auto center was great, but this was about how they treat employees) and she looked incredibly upset.I like to shop at places where people are actually treated well because the experience leaks onto customers and how were treated by the employees. Even saw some actively try to avoid the guy because they didnt want to be screamed at, which lead to customers not being helped.

Not bad. Just a normal wal mart. Theres a greeter, you go in but your stuff carry your stuff pay for your stuff and checkout and leave all by your self. Its Wally world in a warm climate. Nothing special.

One stop shopping in a pinch. Only a few places where you can pick up Olive oil, clothes, and power tools in the same store.

Its walmart, ya know...not the best not the worst...dissapointed to learn theyre converting all registers to self-serve but I shop here regularly.

Store needs some cleaning. Many out of stock items- asparagus, Serrano peppers, habanero peppers, etc. Hate the movement towards all self checkout. We spent over $200 a week there and should not have to take on the checkout and bagging labor. Prices are the only reason we continue to shop at Walmart.

Theres a lot of opened products from shop lifters. I assume. But very nice hard workers

On line orders BEWARE! If product is not correct walmart will make it as difficult to return as possible. This is not a store issue its an internet issue. Go with Amazon.

I don’t suggest ordering your groceries for delivery, if you want them to arrive. If your thinking that you will call the store if there’s a problem, good luck with that. No one is going to answer no matter how long it rings.

Its a Sunday (The most busy shopping day of the week!) And there are TWO TOTAL registers with people open?! Self checkout has insane lines!!! Whoever is managing this location has failed EVERYONE today. My feet hurt and Im tired and why am I still in line????Edit: After waiting 20 PLUS minutes at one of the registers and checking out, I noticed they had opened 3 more while I was leaving. So who coordinates these things? 🤔

Store was clean shelve were semi stocked. Didnt have what I needed.

I needed an oil change. Usually I take my car to the dealership but I didnt have time to make an appointment. Walmart tire and lube is pretty fast and very affordable. The people were nice. They didnt try to sell me everything like Jiffy lube does but they did an inspection and let me know what might need to be done soon.

What can I say, its Walmart. The online pickup experience is getting better all the time. I have a hatchlid that I can open and close from the dash. My last trip was truly a NO CONTACT purchase!
