Honest and Down to earth people (was a joy to talk with) they installed carpet on our stairs and guest room and it looks/feels fantastic!

2nd time using A&P carpet, theyve done 2 homes for me now and would use them again without thinking twice. Its rare to find a company these days that are 100% honest, fair prices, high quality and outstanding customer service.Art, the owner, came to measure both times Ive used them and is super nice and doesnt try to upsell like everyone else. And he had the install scheduled within a day!Nice to know they dont subcontract out the install. They have their own install crew that really knows what they are doing and pays attention to the small details. The carpet came out amazing!!Extremely happy with this company, their product, services, staff and prices. Keep your money local in AZ businesses. These guys should be on your short list of places to get an estimate from, you wont regret going with them.

Great family owned business! Art, Pat, and Eddie, in the store, were extremely responsive, patient and helpful in assisting me in choosing my carpet. They were able to install my carpet within three days of initiation. Much earlier than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise.These people are honest and stand behind their work. I shopped around a lot before going with them. A&P Carpet Center were better priced than four other pro carpet vendors.The 3 workers, Brad, Manuel and Jose, were highly skilled, organized and efficient. They hit the ground running, and did a superb job. The carpet and the job was beautifully and neatly done. The workers were professional and very pleasant. Art arrived at the appointment time. He was very professional, honest and provided an estimate on the spot. He was able to schedule the carpet to be installed one day later. Martin and his time were very professional and kept informed as the day went by. The job was amazing! Absolutely beautiful and high quality. We had a fantastic experience here at A & P. We went in, picked out carpet, had the measuring and installation completed within 24 hours. We had just moved into a house and realized that the carpets had to be replaced. I so appreciated the affordable and speedy services so that we could settle into our home!!

We came to check on what they had to offer in carpet and pricing. They occupy an old gas station that’s been upgraded to a neat little carpet store.The guys loading carpet out front were really friendly, letting us know where is good to park. It’s right on the corner too :)We were met with big hellos from Ed Martinez who was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us. Ed gave us some ideas and costs and time frames too!Came back the next week because we didn’t find another place that had the carpet we wanted nor the price we felt was fair. Ed was there along with one of the owners, everyone was so friendly and happy to help us.Pat, one of the owners came out and measured the rooms next morning and afterwards we went back to the store picked out the carpet.We had our carpet installed the next day! The installer, Winston, was very good and friendly too! He did a great job and we are very happy with the whole process too!Three more rooms to get done and we will be going back to A&P!

Let me tell you about professionalism and phenomenal customer service. They came to our home and were very kind and respectful and friendly. Gave us a quote and beat 6 other companies including big box ones. They were out within the week to install. Would have been sooner but we had some personal issues on our side. Eddie went above and beyond to help us when we decided to not go with the color carpet we chose originally. He sent us several pictures of other samples without seeming annoyed or that we were bothering them (which I felt like we were). Everything went smooth. Carpet installation was great. Guys were polite and courteous and prompt. Out when they were supposed to be. Thank you thank you thank you! Ive already recommended your company to two other people looking for carpet. I cant really express how wonderful my experience was with A&P. As a typical husband I put off getting carpet replaced in our guest room (apartment). Family is coming next week. We went shopping for carpet and were discouraged because of the time frame. I stopped by A&P to check if by any chance they could get it done for me. I have purchased some smaller remnants from them previously. Art looked at his book and said, Is this afternoon soon enough?! We looked at several samples and found the perfect carpet and it happened to be a remnant, so not only did we get the carpet installed in time, but we saved several hundred dollars over the quotes for other carpet companies. Dont be deceived by the size of the location. They have more carpet in stock than most carpet companies. You will be pleasantly surprised when you get a tour and please dont forget that they can order something for you. (If your not a forgetful husband and dont need carpet immediately!!) As if that isnt enough, Art and Pat are the most personable people you will ever meet! Thank you for your excellent service and the carpet looks great!!

Our experience with this small locally owned business was very pleasant. Eddie, Pat and the installer, wrre very friendly, answered our questions, gave us a good price and the installation was timely and he cleaned up afterwards. They had a good selection of flooring to choose from and our 2 rooms look great with the new carpet.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Art and his team. I called, they presented options that made sense for my flooring needs and came over within an hour to measure and provide a quote. They even installed next day. I highly recommend for speed, customer service and price!

I cannot say enough about this company. I was shopping for runners for our new home and needed two of them to be extremely long. Eddie was so extremely patient while I looked through the various remnants to find the perfect carpet. He cut a few samples for me to take home to make sure I selected the right one. Good prices. Lowe’s came out to quote me with their “free” install. They added 600 sq feet for waste. Art quoted me accurate sq footage and waste making him less expensive than Lowe’s even with the “free” install. The install crew exceeded my expectations, I’ve had to deal with many contractors in last several months and these guys were by far the best team I’ve dealt with. I honestly can’t say enough about how great the install went.

I had the pleasure of visiting here for the first time last month, I have to say I was pretty impressed with the hospitality of Pat, the owner. As we were looking at the carpet, she brought us some bottled water and was very courteous and knowledgeable. Also, there was a pretty amazing selection of carpet. They really have something for everyone. They have outdoor carpet, indoor carpet, lots of different colors and textures. So many times when you look at carpet all they have is a little sample for you to look at. Its pretty neat to see the massive rolls of carpet, it gives a better picture of what it would look like over a large area. I had my 6 year old with me and he has a short attention span, but he enjoyed our visit here. This company is literally across the street from my house, and I have to say that they make really great neighbors. For the first few years that I lived here, I didnt pay much attention to what was across the street, but I have been visiting there regularly the past few weeks. We picked up some very nice carpet for my daughters room. They are currently having a red tag sale and have some excellent prices. I didnt realize it until my experience with them, but my dad said that this has been his go-to place for carpet remnants for years. These days, there arent many companies who still sell remnants. I am grateful to live so close to such a wonderful company!

We had our entire house carpeted with A & P Carpet, and this company is absolutely 5 stars. The customer service was exceptional. They are honest, and less expensive than Home Depot. Home Depot was having a sale, which was free installation with a padding and carpet purchase, and A & P was still a lot cheaper.When A & P came out to measure my house, I had told the owner Art, that I wanted new carpet and padding. He told me that he was in the business of selling padding, but my house did not need new padding. WOW! Thats when you know someone is honest! They did a great job, the carpet looks awesome! They also were able to schedule my carpet to be laid on the exact day I needed it to be done! Very happy! Highly recommend!

Do not hesitate to use A&P. I needed three spare rooms carpeted by the end of September. Went to a big box store and waited three days with no call to schedule measurement. Called that store to complain and was assured someone would call me that day or the next.I started to panic when no one called that day so I searched Google for flooring places with carpet in stock. I eventually hit on A&P and based on reviews, I jumped in the car and went there. Eddie gave me samples, sent Art right out to measure and I seriously had all three rooms carpeted by noon the next day!!! The rooms look great and the price was very reasonable.By the way, it’s been three days since the carpet installation and I have still not heard from the big box store about measuring my rooms.

We have used A&P 2 times in the past 2 years installing carpeting(second time due to water damage). They have done an excellent job at a good price. Today Martin & Manuel came on time, were friendly , did a great job ,great moving furniture and cleaning up.Very professional!!!Thanks Art for sending them.

Eddie was super friendly and helpful on our initial phone call and again when we went down to the shop to see what carpet we would like. I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell us on the most expensive thing he just showed us options and explained differences. Their prices totally beat everyone else we had checked and they were able to come install the next day.

We had our carpet done in 2006 by them and now we had wood vinyl planks and carpet done. Great prices, great customer service. You actually do business with the owners. The work done was flawless. Highly recommended

I want to line my toolboxes with carpet. I have a few done already and it works great. I went in to this place and told the sales person what I was looking for. 15 x 48... and I needed enough for 5 drawers. They had remnants with that approximate size. I asked for a tape measure to make they were wide enough. The sales person said they had a tape measure but never went to go get it. Then too me over to a different area with 20 x 8 sections and said that it would be more than I needed. I said it was way too much. I would throw away more than I would use. He then said he couldnt help me. Even with all the cut-offs they had sitting around. Didnt even try to sell me what I was asking for. Worse place ever!

When I pulled into the showroom I wondered if it was even open to the public (it is). Dont be turned off by the fact its in an old service station - the sales staff is friendly and low pressure, and the installers are professional and cleaned up thoroughly after finishing. Theres a big selection and I got some very nice carpet for half of what other places were asking. Definitely check this place out!

Tile looks good. Cleanup was horrible grout left on all the baseboards, big chip in the wall, the master bath stool was not put back right. Art said he would hire a cleanup crew to clean everything up he didnt do that. We trusted him to do this as this is our winter home so we where not here when the job was being done. We came back this June to find the mess. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone.

REMEMBER CARPET IS FOR YEARS IN YOUR HOUSE SO TURN AROUND AND FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY....Watch out for this company. The older lady that works the phone and the counter is super sweet and the owner Art will come across nice instil there is a problem We got new carpet from him because we had pets that ruined our old carpet. His installer put it on top of the dog urine that was in the concrete. It got back in the new carpet and smelled like the old carpet. We were not aware of the installation process, nor the process of dealing with the urine. We are not carpet installers. When it started to smell i contacted Art the owner. HE STATED THAT HE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE. I asked for the installers info and he said he would see who the installer was and call me back. 2 weeks I never heard back from him. I call his office and he acted like he didnt know who I was. Finally when I git him to remember he stated HE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE! and hung up on me. We had to have the new carpet professionally cleaned and the pad replaced. $$$$$$$ Just remember that carpet will be in your house for a long time turn around and find a real company. There prices are cheap, because there work is cheap.... You have been WARNED...

PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Took $3000 of my money, did horrible work, then they dont stand behind it. Gave me 1/2 the money back on vinyl and made my husband sign a waiver completely satisfied or he would not give us the check. Bullying us into accepting work that was not even half acceptable. Tried to file complaint with Registar of Contractors and they said since we accepted the $800 we could not hold A&P liable. Had another company come out to inspect the work done, for vinyl that was to have 1 seam there are 15 seams, wrong glue used, and had debris under vinyl that is now showing through, at the seams the vinyl is peeling up. You work hard for your money to have people like this take away and say WE GUARANTEE OUR WORK

The wife and I wanted to redo our teens bedrooms. The house is 15 years old with the original nylon carpet in it. I read some reviews on Yelp and wanted to give the independent local guy a try. I went after work and asked to see what they had. Decent in stock product if you want polyester ( short life span ) carpet. Little to no nylon in stock, but they said ordering wasnt a big deal.So we had Art come out and give an estimate for 3 bedrooms and 1 walk in closet. He gave us a good price on some Mohawk Smartstrand carpet. $30 a yard installed. Not bad at all. I looked into the carpet a little more and decided I still wanted nylon. So we came back and looked through some carpet that would need to be ordered. It was clearly priced at $28.29 a yard installed. So one of Arts employees Eddie found some of the style we wanted and we talked to Art over the phone on a Saturday. He said he would do it for $28 a yard installed. Boom, I said Ill be in Monday with cash....Monday comes and the wife and I come in after work only to find out that they dont have the carpet available... So Art starts making calls to the rep to get things moving again.. All the time Im ok with this as Im not in a super rush I just want a good product at a fair price..Next day I got a call from Eddie. He says they found 80 yards and lets do this deal.. So I asked for the grand total and Art, whos sitting in the background, says the $30 a yard total..I said wait a minute we already reached an agreement at $28 and that the product price was only $28.29. No way am I going to spend $30 a yard. I ask to speak with Art.Art gets on the phone and say things changed. I said we already had a purchase price established. I said what changed? He said the price. No reason, no Im sorry, no nothing. Just very matter of factly.So I said, Art, thanks for your time, have a nice day.Why any owner would think they can change a agreed upon price at the point of order is crazy. We had already established a good rapport with them as I had to stop by 4-5 times during this 3 week process. Mind boggling.This did open my eyes to LVT ( Luxury vinyl tile) Amazing stuff. Very easy to work with a great wearability. Sorry, not sorry, Art, go rip somebody else off! Peeps, do your homework or you will get worked!

Art, the owner, came out himself to measure Wednesday, quoted on the spot, his crew arrived Friday morning and in 5 hours had 1500 square feet with a 5 staircase installed and beautiful! We couldnt be happier.

The worst experience Ive ever had as a consumer. They advertised a 60% savings on a particular product and when we arrived it turned out to be 30% and the owner claimed he had no idea what was on his website. After we decided to go ahead with the purchase we were then loaded with a different grade carpet then what we decided upon! We objected but he guaranteed it was the same product and refused to switch or for the roll we had looked at. We did our research and he gave us a 32 ounce carpet instead of the 38 oz we payed for! We had to involve the police the next day in order to get the right product.

Prices and staff are awesome and helpful

We had A & P Carpet install carpet in our place of business six months ago and the owners have guaranteed their work . We had called them for the last three weeks to amend the fraying of the carpet and a couple of bumps. The owner had come out and said the problem was we kept moving the cubbies and thats why the carpet is frayed. The cubbies might have ruined about four feet of the carpet but the fraying is all around the room where there is no furniture and what about the bumps. He had offered to replace the carpet for us for $300/-. The guarantee on his work was never mentioned.
