My older Hummer H3 had some elusive and frustrating electrical problems, but the guys at Autovaun stuck with it and figured it out. The work took a bit longer than expected, but they kept me informed every step of the way. Im very happy with the results.

A month after having my brakes fixed on my Ford F-150, I noticed they were feeling worse than before I had them fixed. I braced myself for an unpleasant discussion with Autovaun, as I have had to do with other shops when approaching them with problems.To my complete pleasure, after inspecting the brakes, Richard informed me that they replaced defective brake pads and turned the rotors again. I worked with Richard from AutoVaun last week when my 11 jetta had a wrench, check engine light and needed brakes. i couldnt be more impressed with him. he is not your typical mechanic, trust me. Richard and this group will do everything they can to help you and will not rip your wallet out in the process. they went the extra mile to even put the sun shade in the windshield. The brakes were $400 under dealer cost and they did a great job.

I am beyond impressed by everything about my experience at Autovaun. Josh was honest, informative, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He took care of an oil change, battery replacement and 45,000 mile service for my Audi — I got in within a few hours of calling and the whole service was finished within three hours! Plus, the prices were incredibly fair (less than a third of what it wouldve cost at the dealership) and Josh and his team had clearly taken the time to keep my car extremely clean and tidy as they worked.

I highly recommend Autovaun. As someone who often works on his own vehicles, Autovaun is my choice for the diagnostics and repairs I cant diagnose or repair myself. Every time I bring a vehicle to them I know I can trust that they will honestly diagnose the issue and correctly repair my vehicle. We moved away from Mesa (out to San Tan Valley) and I had searched for a new mechanic, but as I looked into other mechanics I realized I couldnt replace that feeling of trust just to save myself a 30 mile drive. They also offer a convenient service, if you ask them to they will run the vehicle through emissions after fixing the issue so that you dont have to guess when the vehicle is ready for testing. Ive been a customer of Autovauns for 20 years. I knew I found the right place when a new vehicle developed a weird problem of intermittent strong whiffs of chlorine bleach smell. The dealer I bought it from said they had never heard of such a thing and acted like I was imagining things. Said to bring it in when it happened again. Sure, Ill just be lucky enough to be driving by when the intermittent problem happens again. I stopped in at Autovaun on a whim. Vaun actually listened to me, said he was pretty sure what the issue was, and walked out to my car and showed me. He was correct and the issue was fixed. Ive been a customer ever since. Unfortunately Vaun passed way too young but his brother has continued to manage the business in the same professional, honest manner. Thanks, Autovaun!

I love this place! I usually do my own car work but every so often I need a mechanic and AutoVaun is incredible. They have excellent rates, customer service (they go so far beyond my expectations, Im amazed), and workers. Their mechanics are top notch and know what theyre doing. I highly recommend Autovaun Automotive. Josh / Steven are friendly and customer service. I had a serious breakdown and they took my Truck in and had it fixed and ready to pick up early the next morning. The repair involved replacing both front axiles which is not an easy repair.

Have taken our cars to Vauns for several years. They are friendly and helpful. The prices seem far and they have always stood behind everything they do. They are honest and will tell you if something that needs repaired can wait for a bit or is emergent.

Moved to area 10 years ago; was concerned about finding a reliable, reasonable, honest auto repair shop. Got it with Autovaun! Been taking both older Volvos there; much better rates than using a dealership. They are very good at troubleshooting and making only needed repairs or service and finding hard to get parts. No pushing the bill up. Only had one issue that was resolved quickly and fairly. Had another problem with failed emissions test. Autovaun not only made one small fix that was needed but took the vehicle back to the testing station and confronted the manager there about an erroneous defect. that really didnt exist. Now, thats service you can trust! Highly recommend.

Had upper and lower control arms replaced on my 99 Chevy van at a GMC dealership. Drove it down the highway and it was drifting to the right. Took it back to the dealership. They adjusted the alignment but itstill drifted to the right. They told me to go to a frame shop...my frame must be bent...nothing more they could do.Within an hour...Autovaun professional tech had my van perfectly aligned. Thank you guys for blessing my sock offs. Great job!

They filled my AC with freon and put in a dye that would let them know where the leak was. Since it was leaking I had them fix the ac. While there they noted my check engine light was on, explained to me it was most likely the catalytic converter and called the dealer finding out it was still under warranty. He told me to have them run a diagnostic. Sure enough, the catalytic converter needed to be replaced and everything was covered. I really appreciate Autovaun for going above and beyond to help me out like that.

We have been going to Autovaun for years, they are outstanding. They are not a discount service center so do not expect to save money over a dealership, but they are truly honest, there have been many times where a dealer told me one thing, with multiple items needing to be replaced and at a huge expense and autovaun found and repaired the actual single broken part. We have never had an issue with any work done and all the repairs have lasted us.

After using them for 15+ years I can confidently say that they provide excellent service. They are skilled at assessing what is wrong and honest in their recommendations of what work is needed to be done.

Vaun is one of the most honest mechanics we have been to. He will tell you what has to be done, what should be done, and what could be done, and lets you decide. Charges fair prices and does good work!

I over paid, a friend referred me after my brakes went out. They did get me in quickly that is why the 2stars but I was over charged. If I had gone to my mechanic, I would have saved $300 to $400 dollars. If budget is important to you like it is me, I would shop around.

There are lots of repair shops much closer to my house, but I always trust AutoVaun to give me straight advice, do quality work, and charge a fair price. If you follow every last recommendation in your owners manual (depending on the make and model) you will go broke. Vaun is very forthright about when something is a safety issue, when something that isnt in the owners manual needs to be done (such as something brought on by the very hot weather in Arizona), or when something is fine as is. I keep cars for a long time, and he has kept mine going for a long time without lots of unneeded work. Even when Ive had a big expense, I felt that he was giving the best advice (such as getting a factory rebuilt transmission instead of trying to fix the old one).

Honest efficient and straight forward, they were willing to walk me through the work needed and answered all my questions.

I walked in AutoVaun to ask how much it would cost to replace the lower arm brushings on a 99 Buick Century. The same day a different auto center, who changed my oil, had said they were cracked and would cost about $650 to replace and install them. I wanted to shop around for the best value and I went to AutoVaun to compare and I am glad I did! The owner of AutoVaun came out and talked with me and had me drive my car into his shop and we both looked at the arm brushings together. He showed me that they did not need to be replaced and that the other auto center was trying to rip me off. He also took the opportunity to clean the underside, which just had an oil change by that other auto center, and had oil everywhere. He did not charge me a penny for this great service. The owner told me even in oil changes he directs his mechanics to clean up after, which this other auto center did not. I was contemplating of selling this car because of so many repairs that needed to be done, but AutoVaun truly will only do the repairs that are truly warranted. He saved me a lot of money and stress. This is the most honest and trustworthy business in the auto service industry in the entire valley! I would recommend AutoVaun to anyone.
