Came here for all our arts and crafts store the service we received was very friendly and courteous and the staff was very helpful

BRYAN is an amazing employee! Right when I walked in, he greeted me with a smile and asked me warmly if I needed assistance. Lucky for me, I did, and Bryan went above and beyond to give me assistance. He called the manager in the back to ask where some zip ties were, not because he didn’t know where they were, but because he wanted to make sure he had the right aisle as there’s over 100 aisles in the store. This reassurance and extra step really made my shopping trip pleasant and quick and it was all because Bryan wanted to make sure I had a fast easy experience. WONDERFUL JOB BRYAN AND MICHAELS 🤙

Michaels is always great. I went to the Cooper/Baseline location on Friday afternoon with a cartload of at least eighty separate flowers, plus other items. He helped me while being pleasant (and sweating in the heat... Lets crank up the AC for your employees) and even called for backup so the other customers didnt have to wait for me. Amazing.Edited to add the employee was named Bryan

I love crafts and they have tons of options for even the craftiest crafters to craft. My beef, however, is with the store set up. I feel like I always have to ask someone where an item is in Michaels. I prefer to look for things myself and find that difficult in Michaels.

Store was very busy but only 2 registers open. Staff not friendly nor helpful.

Lianna in the framing department was awesome. She’s so kind and helpful and when I asked about something else I needed to purchase she actually left her department and took the time to walk me to the aisle instead of just telling me where it was. Great attitude and great customer service.

This store was clean, organized, easy to locate what we were looking for, and staff was very friendly and helpful.

My mother went in the other to buy a few things and she tried to pay with a 100 dollar bill. She cashier checked the bill and said it was fake (it was not fake) and told her they don’t accept 100 dollar bills (how are you not going to accept 100 dollar bills when you sell items that worth 300 or more). My mother then tried to pay with a 50 and was again told it was fake (again it was not fake). The cashier offered to get the manager (I assume thinking my mother would say no) and my mother agreed they should get the manager. Once the manager came she checked both bill and told the cashier both were fine. My mother owns a small business and knows when bills are fake. I truly believe the cashier assumed that because my mother was hispanic and didn’t speak much english that the bills would automatically be fake. We won’t be returning to this location.

Getting a medium sized carpet custom framed. The 70% coupon really helped. The carpet had some damage. For free they were going to repair the edge. Great price for custom frames. But most of the gold frames were out of stock, but I found a simple clean modern gold frame

I was at this location for the first time just checking out the store. I met Lisa who was an amazing associate and she is very knowledgeable, pleasant and personable. I would definitely go back.

I absolutely love Michaels, however my visit yesterday was rather disappointing. Me and my boyfriend were looking for adhesive letters and passed 2 associates standing in the middle of the aisle and talking who were absolutely no help. They were 2 older women more interested in gossiping than helping customers. This was further proven when the poor girl up front was left alone to handle a very long line. I stood in line for over 10 minutes easily and neither one of the chatty cathys felt like coming up and helping ring customers out. I thought about leaving multiple times. The young woman up front deserved props for doing her best to get people out the door with their purchases. Her work ethic was night and day better than the gossip gals in back.Honestly next time Im going to put the items I picked out back and go to a store where employees are actually interested in doing something other than talking to each other.

Samuel and Lianna went above and beyond in the custom framing department. Samuel was especially helpful in mat and frame suggestions. They were both patient and friendly and seemed genuinely happy with their jobs and helping customers. Glad I have found a new favorite Michael’s store.

Cindy was super awesome! She offered and helped me carry my stuff to the car. I wish I could email the manager directly, I still might. She was really friendly and helpful as well. I havent come across a more helpful person at any Michaels I have been to in the past and Cindy was it!

Went to Michaels to have artwork framed. The two young men who assisted me were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. They gave me ideas that helped me pick out the right frame and mat to compliment my owl picture. Lots to see and great sales going on now!

I go to this store everytime I have the chance. The staff is just absolutely awesome. I never have to hunt down someone who works here.They are extremely knowledgeable, and if they dont know, they will find the answer for you.Ive been to a few different Michaels in the valley, and this one is by far my favorite!

Love shopping here for any of my crafting needs. You always find a coupon online and I love that they support local teachers with a discount as well.

Always a great time at Michaels. They had so many paint it your self picture frames. Great mothers day idea. They will no longer be taking competitor coupons soon.

Im only giving them three stars the last time I was in here the prices were a lot more reasonable than they were this time. Ill have to start going to Walmart and Hobby Lobby for my crafts admitting lie I dont go that often to the craft store and so its been awhile but still the prices are astronomical I was just recently at Hobby Lobby and Walmart purchasing some of these same items that I need for the holidays and they were much lower in price.

Rephael went above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed for my project. I’m not really handy with crafts in fact I don’t even have scotch tape at home but I had a very important project to do with somebody that I love very much and it could not have been possible without Raphael! Team members like him are the reason why I will continue to come to this Michaels location and also why I will continue to recommend it to all of my family, friends, and colleagues!!! I don’t know why anybody wouldn’t want to spend their money here! 😁

Shelves are bare. They had nothing that I needed that I usually buy there. Went to Hobby Lobby and they had everything..... Plus theres employees walking around helping.

Store is clean good customer service have so much to choose from if you like make necklace they have alot to choose from I love all the different colors they have the paint is amazing. Some things can be pricey but you will find that in all stores.

Terrible customer service , I waited in the back by the pens,markers , colored pencils, paints , etc .. for help because I was interested in buying items that were locked up. After being there for about 30 minutes, not one person came to help. I picked out a few that were available and on the shelf and on my way to check out I got a phone call and it was an emergency and so I had to leave promptly so I set the items down instead of purchasing them and on my way out the door and employee came running out publicly humiliating me. She yelled at me in front of customers and other people in the parking lot at the top of her lungs if youre going to steal from here then you better not come back!!. It would be one thing if I was a thief , but I am far from that ! I shop at Michaels a couple times a month and purchase everything. Ive never in my life been accused of stealing from a store so this was very humiliating , being a lot of people heard it. I had a $200 budget that night and I didnt get to spend any of it because I didnt get help for the items that I needed and then I had to leave promptly because of a family emergency. I dont think Ill be shopping at Michaels ever again! and on top of that I called the store to confront the situation because I was so bothered by it. The manager I spoke to was very unapologetic, full of excuses, crass. I didnt even get an Im sorry. I feel super disappointed because Michaels is one of my favorite stores to meet all of my craft needs. Well it was........

I ordered prints from Australia which didnt fit any frames that I could find. I went to Michaels and a very helpful young lady showed me exactly what I needed and best of all the frames were extremely affordable. I also was able to downdoad a coupon which saved 20% - even better. Thank you.

They do awesome work when saving old photos. I had an original black and white print from 1979 that need a fram. They not only helped pick out the right fram for the photo but also the mate to make the photo pop and look like it was shot the day before.

This was my first instore visit to Michaels in a year. Two of the associates who brought me my items curbside were there to welcome me warmly. I was celebrating shot 2 of the vaccine.

The framing department customer service is not up to par with any Michael’s that I have ever been in. I ordered a very large frame mat and was unhappy with the quality of customer service I received and when I try to calling to ask questions about the picture not fitting, they would not answer my call. I called five times and was put on hold three times for over 10 minutes. When I finally decided to drive over, they said that the picture that I had ordered did not fit their mat even though I ordered the size that they told me to. They were unfriendly, and did not make me feel good about a purchase I had made there. I left with no answers and a copy from mat with a cut in it, which they said happens often when cut by hand. Will not do framing business at this location again.

Went gor paint and shopped their bead section. So many crystals to make bracelets...amethyst, agates, lapis, jasper etc...

Starting x- mas projects no better place to go then Michaels for what you need for those projects

When I come to Micheals I typically always have an amazing experience even if I don’t find what I was originally looking for. Today I was truly disappointed with the service of my cashier. When I first walked into the store she was coughing all over the place and I thought to myself that I really hoped she didn’t check me out when I was done. As I imagined she was the cashier available when I was ready. I had some returns and she checked me me out no problem. After she handed me my return; I had a question about it but then I remember I had purchased my daughter something so I told her never mind I had answered my own question. Instead of saying no problem or just not saying anything at all.She rolled her eyes at me and was clearly annoyed/irritated. I have worked in customer service my whole life so this was just sad to me. Truly disappointed

This store always seems to have a lot more things in stock than Tempe marketplace. Pretty much the only place Ive been able to get the silhouette iridescent printable sticker paper. Every other store seems to be sold out.Overall, for everything, this is a pretty well stocked store.

Why do you have so many employees walking around asking if I need help finding anything that it’s beyond irritating. Can’t even have a thought of my own and only one cashier??? I used to find my trips there relaxing... now I actually have chosen to spend my money at a different craft store.

Very clean and the staff was very helpful! I found pretty much everything I needed except for cardboard cylinders, which wasnt a big deal at all!!

Michaels is just OK. Its 3 days before Valentines and almost nothing in stock. But Easter is already well stocked. I only found one thing, out of 4, I wanted but did not buy it, quality seemed cheap. I was walking around for 30 minutes looking for stuff and not one person asked if they could help me. I gave them 4 stars, because they are well stocked on most stuff.

Let me begin by saying I am a top fan of Michaels, just not this location because of a particular employee named Mary. Because of Mary, I have NEVER had worse shopping experience at Michaels EVER!!! She was beyond rude and basically followed me around the store, like on my heels, to the point where I told her how uncomfortable she was making me and just left. This is after I had set the basket that I was carrying down, for her to pick it up, and tell me she would take it up to the register for me..ummmm, excuse me WHAAAAA???? I was beyond flabbergasted. Needless to say Ill be contacting the store manager tomorrow along with corporate (too late tonight) and will definitely never return to this location. Thanks Mary!!
