On Wed., Aug. 18, we flew from Denver, CO. to Chicago, IL. to look at a car that is for sale at this dealership with the good possibility of purchasing it. We felt that it was the right car, low mileage and good price. It had a clean Carfax rating and we were assured that it would be worth our time and money to inspect and drive the car. Our intent was to purchase the car and drive it back to Colorado. From the start, the ignition key didnt work and the salesman had to jump-start the engine. It seemed to work afterward, but we wondered if the key needed a new battery and we didnt want to get stranded if the key didnt work. A more serious problem developed when I drove the car and the brake pedal almost went to the floorboards. I began to wonder if I was going to get stopped a few times during the test drive and felt it was a safety issue. The salesman was along during the test drive and tried to tell us that perhaps the brake fluid was low. Upon inspection by the dealership mechanic it was determined that the car needed a complete brake job. We decided not to take the car out of concern that there may be other issues. It was our opinion that the car was not inspected by a mechanic prior to putting the car up for sale. If you are considering purchasing a car from this dealership, especially in our case when we flew 1,000 miles, we would recommend hiring a mechanic to inspect the car and getting a report prior to making a commitment to see a car in person. It was an expensive lesson for us.

I bought a Civic Si from Ayman and Motozone about a month ago and had an absolutely spectacular experience. The location in a back warehouse was a bit odd but Ayman explained that most of their business is done online and the facilities were still nice enough. They were very fair and allowed me to have it completely inspected at a Honda dealership before purchase. There were some minor issues with the car (worn brakes and tires) but Moto zone was very accommodating and willing to install replacements. I decided to do it myself and they were very fair in negotiating a fairer price that reflected the work needed. Very fair and reasonable negotiators!All in all, both Ayman and management at Motozone were incredibly reasonable and polite and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality vehicle at a fair price!

I had read very good reviews on this company so i decided to go ahead and try to get a vehicle. I am from out of town so i was communicating via e-mail to get the details etc of how it would work. From a previous review someone said they were very helpful and good for them when they did the same thing! I was ready to purchase a vehicle and have it shipped to me and when i was asking for the final details the next day they informed me that they sold the vehicle because someone put down a deposit to hold it until next week! Why was i not offered that option when we had been talking about it for 2 days. Im very upset about the customer service offered for this. They were aware i lived out of state and would have to make arrangements to get the vehicle. Had i known a deposit would have held it i would have offered that as well.

Not a traditional dealership. That being said I got a great vehicle at a great price. Paperwork took 5 minutes. Smoothest transaction ever. No BS with extended warranties etc....Seemed to be honest people who base their business on customer satisfaction. Got the impression that they would help with any issues. My husband and I drove by right at closing time because we were in the area & had seen a car we were interested in for our daughter. The owner, Moe was amazing & let us test drive the Nissan without hesitation. My car battery died, and they drove to me and replaced the battery immediately without question. They also went and got zip ties to make sure my license plate was on. After driving from out of town to motozone inc to purchase a 6500 dollar car i was told that after taxes and fees the price of the car came out to 8193 dollars which is odd because after checking sales tax and registration and fees in illinois it would not even be an extra 1000 dollars... This man is trying to add fees that.dont exist and after doing thorough inspection i found that this man is illegally adding fraudulent fees i was very dissapointed to find that i could not even buy the vehicle for ADVERTISED price and that he would not be able.to selltle on a better price and the man would not let me just pay the original price and get it registered in my own state the man was very unhelpful and was smirking and smiling hoping i would just pay. I am reporting this place to the bbb for the simple fact that the extra fees that he was charging were fraudulant and i feel that taxes are always included however in illinois dealership fees do not exceed 500 dollars and tax title and registration is roughly 400 dollars so an extra 800 to 1000 dollars was added and for that reason alone i will be reporting to bbb. Do your homework on fees before going to this place i am not the only one who has had a bad experience the workers even told me not to buy from there and that the owner is GREASY that didnt stop me from wanting the car but rather the fees that dont exist that were added PLEASE if you go to this place have an established price or have some type of written agreement before wasting time ESPECIALLY coming from out of state. Overall Ripoff

Fair bargaining prices, great low mileage options

I normally don’t write reviews unless I have a particularly negative or positive experience somewhere. This business is extremely worrisome the way its run, and if you are someone who looks for specific cars or is looking for a one (like me) from far away and travels to them, I really can’t stress enough that this place isn’t for you. I had email coordination with Motozone on a Lexus LS400 for sale where they repeatedly told me the car was in great shape, as well as great mechanical shape. Upon arriving after driving 7 hours, the exhaust stunk of rotten eggs, indicating a bad catalytic converter. It had a blinking check engine light and was running horribly. I had them put the Lexus up on a lift to inspect it, where I found a massive oil leak underneath as well as axles that were rusted dangerously to the point where this vehicle, even aside from any mechanical issues that were outright lied about, was dangerous to drive. If google let me post photos of the underside of this vehicle I would. When I asked the owner of the dealership, he said that this was someone’s trade-in and he didn’t know anything about the car. Keep in mind, I emailed him for multiple days where he promised the vehicle was in good condition, after I told him I was driving 7 hours and didn’t want to waste my time. He said he could make an adjustment on the vehicle for the catalytic converter, but the rust didn’t concern him as this is a chicago car. The problem is, he wanted to adjust for $1000 on a $1800+ repair, negating the fact that the car is entirely unsafe to drive with the axles being rusted. In total, this car likely needs about $4000 in work to start with. I told him I simply couldn’t make an offer on this car because I don’t want a project, as well as I’m worried for my safety if an axle snaps on the 7 hour drive home. In fairness, he did not push the matter any further. He was apologetic for my long drive, and offered to show me a different car. He showed me a low mileage Lexus ES300 that was in great mechanical shape, and said it was $6995, the same price as the LS400. We test drove it and mechanically it felt great. With further inspection underneath, I saw a rust problem 5X greater than that on the LS400. All over the frame, the wheels, practically everywhere you look. The rims were rusted and peeling as well, which is about $500. While I didn’t notice immediate danger on the ES300 like the LS400, the problem was much more widespread and rust covered the frame of the car and you could peel off pieces of the underside with your hands rather easily. I made him an offer around $5500, considering the extensive repairs needed with the rust. He declined and corrected his earlier statement, saying the car was $7995. We had a conversation of the KBB to which he said the CarFax of $9,000 was more accurate than the KBB of around $6500 in fair condition. The carfax value doesn’t take into account the massive rust issue which he claimed didn’t affect the frame, which was absolutely laughable, or the fact that the car had scratches and scuffs all over it. He repeatedly said that rust didn’t matter, only the mileage. In the If you end up looking at a car here, please look under these cars. At the end of the day, the ES300 doesn’t bother me much, as I genuinely believe he misspoke about the price, and if he believes it’s worth more, I can’t change his mind. What bothers me is that I drove 7 hours to be completely lied to by a dealership who then acts like he knows nothing about the car you’ve been in contact with him about. It’s one thing to have a northern car with some surface rust, but these cars were terrifying how bad the rust could be. Their included warranty (powertrain only) does NOT protect you against rust.Edit: that LS400 is dangerous to drive. Period. The wheel axles could snap from rust at any minute and if it happens while you’re driving 70MPH, you could die. You lied about the mechanical shape of the car and tried to have me sign paperwork before driving the car after driving 7 hours.

Moto Zone was horrible, its managed by one guy and I called Saturday asking about a car and I asked if I could get it financed when I called and he said okay and Monday I can come on and so I drove 2 hours there and he said he did not know how to finance and when I looked at the car he did not clean it and I had to show him how to jump the vehicle since the battery was dead my experience was awful and a waste of my time, I checked carmax where the carfax where I found the car and they said 10% down payment and a 4.00 rate, the guy was nice and claims there was a statement online saying they do not do finance and yet I called them and he said himself that they finance, NOT A DEALERSHIP, the owner doesnt understand the english language and says yes to anything and he said hed put the car on hold for me and did absolutely nothing. The car is on car fax with financial rates and everything, but it is false

ABSOLUTE BEST CAR DEALER IVE EVER DEALT WITH - PERIOD!! I negotiated the price of a car through EBay without seeing the car, then took a 1 way bus trip to get to the this place. A risky proposition. But my trust in Mo (the owner) was well placed. He & his staff were OUTSTANDING! The car was even better than advertised, the price was good. I was happy with every aspect of my experience. When I arrived, the car was ready to drive home & the paperwork was already prepared! All I had to do was sign & verify a few things; I was finished & driving home in around 30 minutes. PERFECT for a long distance purchase! I have purchased 16 vehicles in my life, this is BY FAR the best dealership I have EVER dealt with! I found that when buying a used vehicle, there is an immense amount of dealers that are not to be trusted, whether it be that they are selling vehicles that were totaled, etc.But Moto Zone is the exception. They are a small operation, but you dont have to worry about shady salesman, haggling over a price, or uncertainty about vehicle history. The process was incredibly easy, and low stress for me. I dread car shopping normally, but with places like this, it makes me feel much more comfortable.

I just purchased a BENZ C300 4MATIC 2009 with 59k miles from Mo and Ayman st Moto Zone. I got the car inspected by a mechanic prior to my purchase. My mechanic hadn’t seen a cleaner 2009 Benz. The transaction was extremely transparent. They gave me a price and told me exactly what the car was like even before I walked into the dealership. To my pleasant surprise, the car was much much better than what I’d expected. Not only was the transaction transparent but Ayman drove me back and fort from my mechanics just so that I felt 100 percent about the deal. I’m so happy. Clean transparent and real people . We found a car on their website that looked good, had low miles and a geat price. Called to make sure it was still there before we took the drive out. It was there when we arrived but the battery was dead due to the COVID-19 shutdowns. While we were there we looked at a few other cars in our price range. All of the cars had low milage and were in fairly good condition. We ended up test driving and purchasing a competely different car than the one we came to see. Ayman was great. It was the holiday weekend so he was the only one there in addition to a porter. He ran from one set of customers to another but never made us feel rushed or unimportant. He worked with us on the price as there were a few things with the car that neeed repairs. We couldnt have asked for a better experience!

I came by on Saturday looking for a car they had pictures of on car gurus. They said the night before that they had the car and I could come take a look whenever. I get there and not only was it a different car, but was in awful shape. They lied and thats unacceptable. You DID speak with me and I WAS there talking to your mechanics who kept calling the owner but he never showed up. What a joke.
