I just had the worst experience ever at this store. One of the employees there started raising his voice at me because my service dog was in the store. Instead of approaching the situation professionally the guy just started cursing at me and raising his voice. When I asked for the manager he started mocking me. Wow, this persons attitude was really aggressive. The guys name is Derrick Walker (securitas). Shoppers beware of this individual! I will be filling a formal complaint with their corporate office. There are legal steps employees need to follow when dealing with service dogs and this guy clearly does not have the proper training or attitude. SMART & FINAL SHAME ON YOU!

This place is cool. The workers are super chill I t’s got a lot of stuff even though it’s a smaller smart and final. But the lines are really long even if it’s gets super busy they never open more than 2 registers. Only got a drink and paper towels ended up waiting 20 minutes in line

The best Oven Roasted Chicken ever. Just $6.99 for a huge 3 lb Roasted Chicken, soo juice and very good taste season. I’ve never had tried it before now I’m going to buy that Chicken ever on the Smart & Final Extra LoL.

Since they are open earlier than most, I love this grocery store. We have a great variety of their things, fresh produce, and meats. Compared to those I went to earlier, their rates were also much more affordable. The staff is good too, and compared to other grocery stores, I find it refreshing to do my groceries here. Highly advised!

This grocery store has a range of items to pick from, and they were all imported and inexpensive. Its where I buy my grocery stores on a daily basis as its near my home. I always like market shopping. With my work schedule, I always make time to put together a list and spend a necessary amount of minutes at the supermarket to get my food for the week. I can do all my food shopping easily and save myself the time and hassle of going to the supermarket because all stores are so quick!

The value for money and quality of the items you get here is hard to beat. A good place for buying your everyday needs. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend doing some of your groceries shopping at this store. I stumbled upon this store when I was with my son. The store itself was fascinating. Theyve got a bit of everything. Especially for my sons stuff and snacks. All the meats and vegetables were fresh, which I like the most. They had a wide range of everything selections.

By far, thia is the most convienent in and out, in less than half an hour. Never crowded, and always has what you need fr0m your supermarket. Oh yeah, plenty of free parking. Even on superbowl sunday.

Last Sunday, I went to this grocery shop and I was so fascinated at the products that they had. It was all in great deals. The fresh produce that they had was amazing. All kinds of meats, fish, fruits, and vegetables as well. This grocery shop is really impressive. A highly recommended grocery shop!

This is a huge building filled with a wide array of restaurants, juice bars, and a few breweries to choose from. Taquerias are the most prevalent cuisine but you can find just about anything you’re looking for. It just depends how long the line is for what you’re interested in having. Best bet is to have one person order while the other looks for a place to sit which could take as long as it does for your food to be cooked. Fun lively loud place.

This place is like a warehouse kind of grocery supermarket. All the items I need are here. The place is also clean and organized.

Just got out of there hopefully covid-19 free. There were too many people inside. It was impossible to be socially distanced. Of course there are shoppers who dont wear their mask right.No one is by the doors controlling the number of people going in nor out. The store manager should be keeping a very close eye on this especially for the sake of the employees risking their life. While waiting in line, I saw the managers come out of his office only when needed.

They have a good liquor store, small pharmacy, great bakery, fresh seafood market, fresh produce, etc. Ive been going to this store for four years now and see no reason to go to another place.

I just discovered this store and it is great. The prices on some items are competitive but not on all of the products that u buy. However, they carry items that other stores do not carry and the store is very clean, neat and spacious.

This place is such a great neighborhood store. Its small but mighty. Its chock full of great produce and all the basics you could need. They are also very accommodating to any special orders. Id say the meat section is not their strength but you can find decent cuts for your basic needs. Customer service couldnt be any better. Great place.

S&F is one of the best markets we have downtown. Not too over-crowded nor over-priced. I love the prepared fruit bowls which are always fresh. My friend loves the ROTISSERIE CHICKEN=she says it is the BEST. I also love the array of fruit & the boxed dinners (am watching my calories, per Nutritionist. Also the cashiers & Clarence (security) are very helpful.

I love this location. S&F is my favorite market and I try to shop there any time I can. I love that they have a downtown location so its a short distance from my job at Little Tokyo. After I get off from work, I dont need to go miles off to my nearest S&F, I can just go one mile here near Olympic. The staff are great too. Its also the only market in the entire Los Angeles district that has Mexican Cola, which is the only soda I buy nowadays, so thats a plus for me.

I just came to Smart and Final. I came with a friend since he does not have a car. We took 4 waters. Two for him and two for me. The cashier did not want to charge us separately. They were rude. I don’t appreciate the customer service when we are living in a apedemic . I even offer to show our IDs.

The low grade is for the stores poor hygiene as apparently this location allows customers to bring pets inside. When asked about a terrier roaming the aisles with its owners, a staff member simply replied dogs are ok. Maybe your pet is well-behaved but this one was sniffing around the fresh meat and obviously not a service animal. Another thing thats obvious is the employees at this Smart & Final either dont know about or cant be bothered with food safety laws.

Rude rude rude customer service, some of the employees here have a terrible attitude and a poor way of treating customers and I will not be returning. I’m disappointed in the management attitude as well. If I could give -1 stars I would.

My favorite for bulk shopping. The only store I know with the biggest bag of bleu cheese crumbles.

This is my go-to store for all my main grocery needs. Dont pay any attention to the negative comment I just read from one unstable reviewer by the name of Steve Rivera. Im sure any security guard was doing his job professionally and had a good reason for being suspicious of this particular character-SR. Ive seen many mentally homeless maniacs cause problems at this store being located central in the heart of DTLA, so SR is probably no exception. I never had any bad experience when entering this store. (So Steve Rivera- please get a life and quit your complaining!). Also the hot soup bar is pretty decent. Wish they bring back my favorite cheese & broccoli soup though 😋

Has most of what I needed. Place is clean. Its not a huge so will find some produce, meats frozen foods, cereals, party supplies, wines, candies, snacks, canned food, cake mixes and more. Ive also been offered help to find things. I like it cuz it is in walking distance from work. Employees are nice too.

Smart & Final is a great place to shop when youre in a hurry. The prices are good, many times less than the super markets. Really good prices on whole bean coffees (and a grinder in the store, so your coffee is super fresh), dairy products, eggs and meats. A decent selection of produce. A good amount of party paraphernalia in larger packages, so better prices.

Ive seen a homeless man fight a plastic bag once outside and another dude flexing his muscles in front of the mirror like he was gonna fight someone. I think they DO have security guards but Ive no idea how they deter this type of behavior.Ive never seen lines here and rarely does the store have more than 10 customers total.

Like the food part of Costco without the crowds, membership, and impulse buys that make Costco the $300 store.A downtown secret: plentiful free parking! And right off Figueroa, too! Ridiculous! If you live downtown, you know that is a singular feature.Also, amazing hours! Open early and late. As a working musician, I appreciate this!

From the moment I entered I was made uncomfortable by the security, a black guy with a cubic zirconia earing. Just cause Im dressed dirty doesnt mean Im a downtown homeless person.. Very unwelcome feeling even though Im a cash paying customer. At least hes making the girls feel welcome with more than a greeting.
