Jeff is highly knowledgeable and will never lie or misrepresent something to get a sale. He will keep his word and has worked with me when items bought have had issues. His store is a bit small and cluttered but has a lot of interesting items for great prices if you know what to look for. $25 for transfers.

Been here twice in the last two weeks. First time was picking up a transfer and the second was purchasing my first handgun. My experience was amazing. Jeff makes you feel at home and will answer any questions you might have. As long as I live in Lincoln, you will not find me anywhere else. There is no other place to be.

Jeff helped me with an FFL transfer. He was nothing short of GREAT in doing so. Quick responses to emails & answered any questions I had. When I went to pick up my new gun, we ended up just talking for a good half hour about guns & firearm history. Hes super knowledgeable & was a great guy just to talk with. Highly recommended establishment. I visited with an issue with a handgun (M&P Shield; 9mm) which I had not purchased here, but Jeff (the owner) quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly at no charge. This is Great local Gun Store, I have bought, transferred, and even sold a few guns here. Jeff is an upstanding guy. You never know what he might have on the shelves. The inventory changes frequently. Good, and even great deals can be had there, one just has to stop by. He deals mostly in used guns, some new guns, but will special order for very reasonable prices. I personally love the atmosphere of this place.

Wonderful experience! Came looking for a used gun case and to dispose of some old ammunition and flares. Had two antique guns that the staff helped me to identify and appraise. They cleaned them immaculately! Would recommend them to anyone in the market for older gun shopping, appraisal and service.

Nebraska Gun is the only store I will consider when trying to buy or sell a firearm. The staff is professional and more knowledgeable than any other I have encountered in Lincoln. Additional benefits include the most honest interaction and feedback you could ask for from a firearms retailer. Another thing I like is that this is a truly local small business. These guys always have answers to your questions. They also do consignment sales as well as FFL transfer-ins.

Twice Ive been there and twice Ive had a bad experience I thought maybe going the 2nd time would improve my idea of them but it did not change. Very paranoid, I thought but when colored customers entered the establishment he quickly took his hand off his gun on his hip. I guess he was afraid of upsetting them, which tells me he was just fooling around while I was in the store.

Great no hype no pressure atmosphere. If you have a question, ask. They know guns and they have honest pricing. They have rare ammo. If you know you want a particular gun ask. It may be in the safe.

The owner is very knowledgeable about firearms and quick to answer any questions. There is no intimidation factor that you may see in some larger firearm shops. The prices seem to be very fair and they are a firearm transfer friendly business. I have had a great experience with Nebraska gun over the last year.

Ive been doing business with this place for several years. The coolest guns I own Ive either gotten from Nebraska Gun, or with the help of Nebraska Gun with their FFL transfers. The other comment about rare ammo is true, too. They may not have it all the time, but if you frequent the place enough, youll see some obscure calibers. Its small, so it may not be for everyone, but I love it. Im tired of a lot of those other RUDE gun stores.

Edit: Went in to Nebraska Gun today and had a great experience on an FFL transfer. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you Nebraska Gun...we all have bad days. I will be back !First time I used them for an FFL I went in to pick up my pistol and waited 15 minutes while the person behind the counter had a meaningless conversation with a couple other guys that didnt seem like they were even there to buy anything. During this time while I stood there looking right at the person working....I never even got acknowledged. I tried to use them a 2nd time as an FFL...I called GlockStore to find out where my order was. Upon research, found out they they had been trying to contact Nebraska Gun for several days to get the FFL transfer started. They received no response...meanwhile the pistol was sitting in California waiting for someone from Nebraska Gun to return a call. Looking back to my initial experience I guess that doesnt surprise me. I will not be returning to Ne Gun for any of my gun needs. PS - I see there are a lot of other posts about how knowledgeable the staff is....unfortunately, I was never given the time of day and seemed to be bothering them. So thats hard to say, I guess.
