It was amazing! I ended up buying a Yamaha p-45B Electronic Keyboard that is Absolutely WOW! The Customer Service was OUTSTANDING, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!( the pictures do no justice as this keyboard is absolutely captivating!)

I received a very rude reception as soon as I walked in the door by a manager who was worried about my attire. I assumed with it being a free country and all Id wear or not wear what I wanted in public. It really made me regret not going on EBAY to begin with.

Worked with Callen and Kristen and I had an incredible experience. They really knew what they were talking about, we’re very patient with me, and got me all set up with everything I needed. I would 10/10 recommend going to this location!

We bought an electric guitar and an amp last Saturday with a total of $700+. We noticed that the guitar has string buzzing problems when we play at home. We think it might be just a minor thing (because it is a brand new one), so we drove there today with the guitar and ask if they can help check. However, a young woman said we need to pay 80 bucks if we want to check the guitar. I told her that we just bought it within a week but they refused even looking at it and kept saying we have to pay 80 bucks first before they looked at the guitar. And she rolled her eyes at me.We bought the guitar with full price without even bargain or checking online (we want to support a local store), but we are extremely frustrated with the experience. I would say JB and Robert were really helpful, so one star for their help. Otherwise I would give 0 if I could.

I took a considerable amount of time in writing a lengthy review about my unfortunate experience at the Lincoln, NE Guitar Center. You wrote back, indicating that you would address this rip-off with management there. I mentioned that the gal who was the manager that night was part of the steal. I have been expecting to hear back from you but it is no surprise that this Senior Citizen has been ignored. In addition, my review has conveniently disappeared from the general reviews. Is this how you deal with customers who have been mistreated and stolen from? Hiding the evidence of my experience at the Guitar Center, Lincoln, NE does not make this unethical and costly trip to the GC go away. Did you say some magic words which made my whole experience disappear? Does the silence on your end mean it didnt happen? Shame on you for throwing out all those conciliatory words about addressing this problem and then, simply ignoring me. Bought a new Gibson SG and couldnt have been happier with the service!

Employees were very patient with me while I nervously paced around the store for two hours deciding if I should spend the money on a new bass guitar. They answered my weird questions well doing their best to explain different types of guitar pickups to a beginner. In the end I left with a fantastic guitar that was recommended to me by multiple employees. Couldnt be happier with my experience! Everyone was super supportive and made me feel better about being a beginner. Highly reccomend!

The staff is extremely helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Which is good when neither myself or my son have any idea.

They informed us on prices, told us what we were in for, and eventually sold us a great product (amp). One of the best guitar places in town in my opinion.

Lying liars and the lies they tell. Dont call for pricing before you go to Guitar Center because it is the old bait and switch here. Price was 75 bucks higher than what was quoted on the phone when I got there. Plus, the 3 year plan turned into a 2 year plan and was also 10 bucks higher. Lastly, I was asked to choose between two boxes, one that was clearly dropped on a corner in shipping or the other with a hole ripped through the side...with no discount on either.You are selling music...act right Southpointe Guitar Center.I wisely took my 600 dollars of business elsewhere.

Such a great example of customer service while everyone is extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been coming to this store for over 4 years and under Jamie’s management I’ve always been satisfied.I recently purchased two studio monitors (Adam Audio T5V’s) which I absolutely adored and am thankful an employee convinced me to stray from my original monitor choice. I as well had to return them a 5 or 6 months later due to necessary car repairs. Jamie was very fair with me and I left very satisfied.I will never go to another store for my music production or alteration needs.

Used to be able to go into the accoustic room and play different models and brands, but now they have the upper end ones up high AND locked. This is how I ended up buying my last Taylor from them. I wont be going back to pick a new/updated guitar. Its no longer fun to drop in and pick the next guitar for my wish list. All the guitars down low are entry level only.

Wow, when you first walk in and have never been there before, it is very overwhelming. A very nice gentleman assistant us on what we were looking for. From what I can see, you can get pretty much anything you need with what ever instrument you may have. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable of your needs. I would highly recommend this place for all your instruments needs.

I had never been here before. My daughter needed a keyboard. Im pretty sure we were greeted by every staff member. Not one of them was at all pushy. The gal that helped us was awesome! She was honest, respectful of our budget. She even helped load it into my car, which took some time. I was very happy with our purchase and very impressed with the staff!

They fixed up my 15+ year old bass, and now it plays better than it did the day I bought it. Fair pricing for all the work they had to do.

Ive been to this location several times and have had an excellent experience each time. The staff knows their stuff and engages their customers quickly. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I recently purchased a guitar for my son and after getting it home and ready to play, we discovered that we had gotten the wrong size guitar. When I returned the staff took excellent care of me. They processed an exchange quickly and with no fuss.I highly recommend this Guitar Center for all of your musical needs. I will be making many more purchases at this location and plan on getting lessons soon.

Guitar center has always been helpful to me. Recently I traded a couple guitars and effect pedals for a Bose unit. They were very fair in negotiating a trade. I will definitely continue to do business with them.

I had a bad experience on an online order, and at first I was upset. But once I was connected to Nathan (A manager).. He helped me get the order sorted out. He was very professional even in my frustration. We came to an agreement and got it sorted out. So even with the mishap, I am happy about the conclusion. Thank you Nathan!

Fairly small in size but packed full of gear. A lot of entry and mid range gear but a little bit lacking in the higher end. Helpful staff. Didn’t bug me even though I was jamming for close to an hour on multiple instruments and amplification. Will visit again soon.

I had an excellent experience shopping for and purchasing a snare drum today at this Guitar Center. The sales associate who helped me (Christian), went way above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect snare for me. I highly recommend this location!

Josh and Shay were absolutely amazing! A used bass Id called about sold FIVE MINUTES before I walked through the door. They worked with me and Jamie (the store manager) to get me set up with a new bass for close to the price of the used one. They were so great to work with. I highly recommend GC!

The guitar tech, Brian, has the patience of a saint. Ive got an LTD that keeps back bowing and hes been very accommodating trying to get it right for me without continually charging me for the work. Big chains almost always rely on the quality of their employees and Brian is top notch.

It’s sad when a business’s manager doesn’t have the knowledge and customer service skills of their employees. Was working with, I believe her name was Kristen, and it was a lot of incoherent babbling. Spent 5 minutes with a young man, I believe his name was Dylan, and I had all the information I needed and was on my way to the checkout. When I received my receipt the sale was under what appeared to be Kristen’s name. Bunch of B.S. for a manager who was completely incompetent to steal a sale away from arguably the best employee I’ve seen in there in a long while. Hire more kids like him. The instructional rooms/studios are massive and very diverse in instrument selection. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great customer service. I had ordered a piece of used electronic equipment on the telephone with the main GC office, and I forgot to tell the young lady that I wanted shipped to my daughter across the country to the West Coast - and not to my home on the East Coast. I realized the error right after, called GC Customer Service and they said I needed to call the Lincoln store to change the shipping because that was where the used equipment was. Dylan (I believe that was his name) answered and put me at ease. He took care of what needed to done. He was so polite and nice. And even called me back. This is the second time in a week that a GC has done something nice for me. And I will review that on that stores google reviews.

The guitar repair guy here is very good. I shipped an online order to this store, it arrived in 2 days, and they set me up for free in about 5 minutes. I particularly like to hang out in the acoustic room here. They have a good variety of Martin and Taylor guitars just begging to be played.

Pretty cool place. Lots of stuff. Only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because it feels so Corporate. The staff is more interested in making the sale than learning what youre into and maybe jamming with you for a minute. Thats the only thing missing.

I hadnt been to a GC since I was quite a bit younger, and that probably explains a lot. In the late 90s guitar center was THE place for musicians. Then musicians friend and local swaps got big. My most recent experience with GC was unfortunately awful: broken demo stuff, empty shelves, and 5+ employees wandering around for 2 customers.Its sad that Guitar Center has fallen on hard times, but is anybody surprised? Theyve apparently carried the same business model for brick and mortar from the 90s and have become a dinosaur. That being said, the online used inventory is awesome and prices are competitive with local joints.I hope they can make a comeback, but they probably need to focus on competing with local swaps like music go round.

If you play left handed do not go to this store. Only 2 lefty guitars. I know its about business, but still .
