Can’t say enough good things about these folks! My first order with them was for some ammo back in January/February. No issues, was received in great shape and well packaged. My recent purchase was their great sale on the Springfield Hellcat. I ordered on June 18th and by the afternoon of June 24th I was picking up my purchase at the local dealer. As with the ammo, it was obviously well packaged as the manufacturer box looked like it had just left from the assembly line. You’ve got a customer from Maine for life.

These people are Spammers. I bought a gun from them, and shortly started receiving marketing emails from them that I didnt sign up for. So I should just unsubscribe, right? Wrong... I tried that several times, and they just keep coming. At least one email each day, and sometimes up to 3 per day. So, I contacted the shop directly, to complain about not being able to stop their incessant emails. The person I spoke with told me that they were having trouble with their unsubscribe process, and he asked me to provide my email address, and assured me that he would unsubscribe me manually. Well, that was weeks ago, and they just keep coming. So now Im blacklisting them, and leaving this review as a memento of my annoyance.

They have a professional staff and a wide selection. The staff is glad to answer questions and helpful in finding a good fit for each customer.

Mom and pop shops are dwindling. Superstores are now the norm. Service and sales people are a different breed too, nowadays.Best to go online, figure out what you want and can afford and find who offers the best price for the item you’re interested in. You can then decide how to proceed from there: purchase online, support local business and families, make an excursion to save some etc.Before going to DEG I do my research. When I come to the store I know exactly what I want and (obviously) agree to the price. Yes, I have seen identical items ‘on sale’ elsewhere for substantially less, but chose not to travel the extra hour or so. That is my choice. No one coerced me to buy anything anywhere. I don’t carry on about price gouging, especially on recreational products. More so when supply is limited.My interaction with staff is thus minimal and the transaction seamless.I don’t concern myself with how store employees view or feel about me. To me they’re just part of the transaction mechanism. I go to the store to pick up an item, not new friends... If someone wants to be polite and make some small talk, I reciprocate, but don’t expect or demand it. The way I see it is that employees and salesmen are there to help with your purchase and solely for that purpose. For gossip, hang around your local barbecue. For politics, heckle your coworkers and acquaintances. If you need a therapist, make an appointment by a professional one...I thus have no disappointments and will always be a satisfied customer.My transaction yesterday was a pleasurable experience. Salesman was respectful and performed his duties as expected.The store is really nice and a huge selection is on display for up-close-and-personal viewing. Go, and youll feel like a kid in the candy shop.

I have been a patron of DeGuns for many years, and have purchased a few fire arms from them. Staff are always very helpful, but one day in particular really stands out for me. I came in on a Sunday to take a guns 101 class, the Instructor Wayne was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Ben was also very instrumental during this class, he was very patient with me while I fired several guns on the range and then he assisted me with picking out the perfect handgun to purchase . During this class I shared with Wayne an issue I had with a previous gun purchase. Wayne immediately looked into the situation and worked with DeGuns staff to not only rectify the situation but he went way above and beyond to exceed my expectations. Wayne is a top-notch instructor as well as being top notch in providing the best customer service. Was looking for trigger anti walk pins that said were in stock. Employee put minimal effort in helping. After looking in the same spots I already looked he started helping someone else without saying anything. Very frustrating. Wish I could say this was the first time something like this happened.

Ammunition is way over priced. its 2.5 times what I pay at my local store. Waste of time. Creedmore is sub 20 a box for S&B right now for us, and at one of the most successful retailers in our region. (No threat of going out of business for them) Ordering online for almost three times the cost does not make sense.

I ordered my ammo on 6/19 its was delivered on 6/23 less than 5 days. I only purchased one box because I was sceptical. They have my ammo business forever. The advertising on the side of the highway actually was good thing. Thank you so much.

I’ve only had great experiences here. Dave and the crew have great customer service and are very knowledgeable. Ammo is always in stock and has no limit on purchases. It’s comical the rage people are expressing over the price. Yeah, it may be more affordable at Scheels, but it’s never on the shelf. When it is on the shelf people are fighting over it and turn around and sell it on gunbroker for twice the price to someone that doesn’t have access to any. “Pot calling the kettle black” if you ask me. The only thing I would upgrade is the parking lot. It’s like navigating through land mines.

Nice quite big place with big parking lot., fair prices ( I looked knifes only ), but not enough workers & not fair enough with customers. ( I mean if I spend over$-200 , they could sharp one personal knife for free / to make me happy & show their professional sharpening work. ) Also they must be honest & open for warranties & returns .

If you plan on selling or trading a firearm, go somewhere else. They offered what they called 50% of wholesale. Good working gun with gunsmith installed improvements. Spent close to $850 on the gun got offered $150 for it. Looked like a decent selection of guns inside but didnt slow down on my way out. Ill stick to my normal dealer. Hard to get past a bad first impression. If they want to rob you on a trade or sale what are they doing to the price of their guns?Im going to add to this, the reply I received from the owner is much like the the replies to others on here. Seems to make up stories to fit his agenda. I did not request cash ever. Was looking to trade for value towards another firearm. Beware of this place there seems to be a lot more going on behind the scenes here than you can tell at first sight. Mr. Owner no need for another reply it wont help, and doesnt change my position. Everytime I went the employees had terrible attitudes, never had a good experience with anyone. Went in to trade a PCC and they tried to scam me $1500, while they had a older gen for $3200 sitting right next to where I was standing. I will continue driving hours for a better gun store.Looked at another review and seen another complaint the same as mine, to clear up any confusion beforehand I did not specify a price until after they came back and said they would do $1500. I made sure they were talking about a trade instead of straight up selling and they told me there wouldnt be a difference. My pcc which goes for 2600 brand new and 2,450.00 on alantic firearms without accessories and the lowest price I seen on gunbroker was 2,200.00. Again without the options that was on mine. I asked if they would go 2200 to trade and I was denied. After that I couldnt get the time of day by any of the employees as they treated me and my friends like the plague.If I could give no stars I would.

I was looking for ammunition that was sold out everywhere I looked and DEGuns had it listed online as being in stock. I called them to verify and they said they had it. They were very friendly and professional on the phone. I placed the order and received my shipment 4 days later. I was very pleased with my interaction with this company.

Website says range opens at 11am, apparently it takes over 45 mins to get set up.. its 11:45 and still telling me and 2 other guys to hang tight till range officer is ready.. if your going to advertise range open at 11 maybe the range should open at 11 and not 12:00..I will say once on the range the range master was very knowledgeable and very friendly and very safe. Range Range master definitely knows what he’s doing.

I purchased a rifle from this company in September. It took several weeks for them to locate a dealer. After, a few weeks, they found one and shipped my gun to that dealer. To my surprise, it was a residential home. OMG! When the man came to do door he was on defense to see a black woman coming to his home. I asked him was he the gun the dealer and he said yes, but he does not do business with people he do not know. He only does business with family and friends. Then, I replied you signed for my gun. You knew then I was not a family or friend. He refused to give me my gun. I did not feel comfortable with his disposition. I felt he did not want to do business with a black woman! I am immediately contacted Deguns. The company did not answer. I call them from the same number they called me from. Then, I replied to an email they sent me in reference to my gun has been shipped. I sent several emails. No response! I am asking myself is this company in collusion with this gun dealer. The next day, I contacted my bank and explained my rage with company. The bank refunded my money and launched an investigation. Guess what! After three weeks, Deguns contact me, stating I must sent my emails to a non-monitoring server! What!!! I told them I replied to the email you sent me stating my gun was shipped. Then, they said you must have called the wrong number. Then, I replied, I redial the number you called me from asking me questions about the gun on my voicemail. My experience with this company has been a nightmare!!! My recommendation buy a gun locally. Don’t fool with these guys. They are not right! The only reason, they called me back is because the bank withdrawal my $661. If I did not dispute it, I would never heard from this company. Don’t buy from them!

I have seen better prices in pawn shops that are notorious for being high priced. Fell well short of your reputation. Your response is the reason you lost another 🌟. The item that was advertised is different than what was shipped to me and the company told me there is nothing they can do to correct it and offered a scripted apology for compensation. This company also has higher prices and in retrospect I would take my business elsewhere, to the more trustworthy companies out there.

Have placed several online orders for .233 and 9mm. ammunition from here, they have always been very prompt shipping them and keep you updated on progress. Have found their prices to be very reasonable considering the current state of the market. I have no problem ordering from DEGuns in the future.

Look elsewhere if you are headed there for any gunsmithing services. Picked up one of my rifles that I brought to them nearly 13 months ago for a simple repair. They apparently took it apart at some point since the safety is missing, but thats as far as it got. Revolving excuses. Holidays. Turnover. Covid. Cant get ahold of manufacturer. Etc.... Gunsmith will NOT return calls despite several messages left. The gunsmith works part time in the evenings, but no one will answer the phone after 5pm, so I had to actually drive out there to get updates. Do NOT recommend.

Amazing place with helpful staff

I have bought all of my firearms from DE guns and think they are a fantastic gun store the only think keeping me from 5 stars is the range. Its great I would love to come more frequently but the last time I went they charged you for either 2 hour or all day which I dont want to pay for 2 hours when usually I go out to shoot 150 rounds or so which takes me closer to 30 minutes to an hour. If you could pay for 30 minutes or even an hour instead of 2 I would definitely shoot there more often I just dont want to pay for time I wont use.

My absolute favorite place to shop. Everyone there from the sales staff, the class instructors, the management, and the range officers have to be some of the best in the business. They are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help the customer. Could not ask for a better experience!

Was a regular DE customer back at their tiny shop on N. 66th Street and remained so after their move to 31st & O, even though service did slip considerably (and, no, Im not talking about chit-chat). Over the last 3-4 years prices have just soared vis-a-vis the competition. Sadly, I no longer recognize the place.DEs facility and operation are impressive and I am happy to see your success. I am beyond upsetI understand a no refund on new guns but a usedgun that breaks the day after my purchase should be refunded I purchased a used gun 7/17/20 and you sent it in for repairs and 3 months and I am still waiting  this is not acceptable

Good selection, decent prices but beware the advise. A friend and I went in there recently and was told by an employee that you cant shoot 556 & 223 out of an AR unless the barrel had 223 Wylde printed on the barrel. He was wildly adamant that you gun will blow up if you use the wrong ammo. I tried to politely correct him after a few minutes of him trying to push us to buy new guns based on this, even though he never asked what our firearms are chambered in. If he did he would have found out that nothing he was trying to push applied to us, nor was it exactly true. We went down the road after being annoyed to another store.

I have an FFL and as a gun dealer I have never dealt with a more unorganized or unprofessional company. They are clearly trying way too hard to be bigger than they can be. Ordered some magazines online, called several times and never received a response on why my items never shipped. Over a month of time wasted no refund provided finally had to dispute the charge with my cc company. There are much better places to get lose end stuff you need. Don’t waste your time.

I have bought multiple products from the store. Ben, Ron and Dave have been very helpful over the last couple of months/years that I have been a customer. Ben has helped me with accessories, higher quality ammo, magazines and finding things outside of the store that were not carried by DEguns. Majority of things he was able to find through DEguns. I ordered a Benelli Case Model 94010 and was shipped a Model 94000 which is a cheaper case. I contacted DE and sent pictures of my receipt and the tag on the case showing this information. I contacted DE by email and phone and spoke to Cory who seemed helpful but never sent me a RMA label to ship the wrong case back and I asked them to ship the right case that you can see on the receipt (94010). I have emailed several times, and now I dont get a response at all. Just want DE to ship me the case I ordered and I am more than happy to ship the case they sent in error back. Hoping this post will get a response otherwise, I could not recommend this Company to any of my many shooting buddies. This has gone on for over a month now.Update-I received the shipping label to return the case shortly after posting this review. Good start, but I have not received the credit to the card I used to order the case yet. Will update this post if and when the credit is issued by DE otherwise I have to dispute the charge with the CC company.Update 2-I finally received credit to my CC almost 3 months after receiving the wrong initial shipment. I appreciate that but I would not order again from the Company. Lost what would have been a loyal customer.

Some employees lack informationon the products and then leave you their without consulting or asking for anyone else to help. Slow online response time thru support chat. Twice I was told they would call me after a purchase application and still never got a call.

Steve got us in quickly and helped us with an overview of what all the property had to offer us on our first time visit. Luke helped us get our sight fixed on the spot. Chris sighted us in at the range. And I got a 100 yard bulls eye twice in a row! Lisa was a great go cart taxi driver. The staff made our morning at Deguns a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff. Cashier greeted the whole family as soon as we walked in. The other staff went out of their way to make sure we got the best deal available on the ammo we purchased.

We were there when they opened the range at 11am !One range was taken and we were next in line, we had to fill out a range waver which we were totally ok of doing, but standing there and waiting for 30 plus minutes while one employee was checking customers out and we stood there while people came in after us and paid and went out to the range and some did not even do the waver like they were told to do! After another ten minutes the guy told a customer that the ranges were full! Very poorly run! We will not return!!

Im not sure what the review saying they wont work with your FFL was talking about. I called today to make sure they had my FFLs information and they had said they reached out to my FFL multiple times, eventually they got it squared away for me and my gun is shipping now even though it was my mistake and I should have made sure they had it in the first place. Thats above and beyond what I was expecting. I will definitely be buying from these guys again! Amazing customer service!

Completely rude and unprofessional, awful customer service. Called my FFL dealer lazy and told me they must have forgotten about my order, when I had just talked to my local store and they said DEGUNS made no attempt to contact them. I was then not informed anything like this was going on , and it was not until I reached out the day I was supposed to receive my delivery that they informed me, very rudely, that they were unable to send it out and that this was somehow my fault.

I have been to this store several times. The store is huge! Their staff is friendly and very helpful. After I saw they have Black Rifle coffee I was in love! I went shooting yesterday and it was awesome! I heard it gets very busy on Fridays and the weekend but other days theres barely anyone shooting.

We have had 5 star visits but recently we have had nothing but bad experiences there. The sales staff has been incredibly rude.

Aka, more guns.1st update - 4/17/2020. Called them yesterday and the associate said that he would pass on to the owner what was going on and how someone would be in touch. Didn’t hear anything yesterday and nothing today so far, so I called 4 times and no answer.........Not sure if this was a random bad experience or a new thing, I have been a long time customer with zero problems prior to yesterday. For now I won’t go into details until I get ahold of management or the owner, I don’t want to lump everyone into the same boat for the situation that unfolded yesterday. After many attempts to get ahold of someone, with no prevail, hopefully this will get the recognition that is needed.

Great quick friendly service however...... The gunsmith in department is five-stars but you will pay for it and you absolutely will to the point where you should have just replaced the gun or parts that were damaged. I learned that firsthand this evening. Luke did a great job fixing my issue and calling me immediately after but I almost regret even taking it there because of how expensive it is to have a gun worked on. 100 per hour. You will receive a doctor bill after having your gun worked on. However they are FAST. So you if dont care about money and its all time than burn your money and save time. They called me after the service to offer to clean the extensive fouling in my gun and wanted to charge me another $50 on top of the 100 to clean lead fouling out of a 5 inch barrel........... I will do it myself for $15 worth of equipment and personal time.Update: Luke gave me the 50 dollar cleaning service for free. Barrel looks like million dollars. 5 stars for Dr. Gun-smith Luke

I purchased a Smith and Wesson Victory about a month ago, I ordered on a Saturday and picked it up at my FFL an Tuesday 3 days later. The price was very good and the service was fast and very the order process was very easy and effortless. I did not have to talk to anyone from their company. I ordered it got processed, shipped and I picked it up 3 days later. I will buy from this company in the future when I am in the market for another firearm and I am a customer that is very hard to satisfy. If I have to contact anyone during the ordering process or have to put any extra effort into a purchase I do not order again. I have very high standards and the whole point of ordering online is not to have to talk to anyone or jump through a bunch of hoops. Thank You Deguns.

Not only does DE Guns get me the gear I need cheaply and with great speed, but their customer service is top notch. I recently called about a *used* product they have up for sale on their site. Despite its low price, the employee on the phone quickly retrieved the item from stock and answered all of my questions. Their shipping prices are reasonable, and they have lots to choose from. Seems like a good operation they have running over there, will definitely stop by again.

I brought a friend to De guns as I knew from past experiences this is the best place to purchase firearms from experts who know weapons. Mike was the our gun expert salesman who was able to demonstrate the various functions of the weapon s were we interested in and made our buying experience a total pleasure. We were intending on buying one weapon and left there with three and numerous boxes of ammo and extra magazines . Walked into the store and was immediately greeted by the very nice staff. I was shopping for some attachments for my current weapon as well as pricing a couple of Assault Rifles. Found them 2 or 3 years ago when they were operating out of their old hole in the wall location. Brother was having a gun transferred through them and their store was listed. Have purchased many guns and supplies through them. The gunsmith that works there is a great and honest guy. Does good work, fixed a colt 1911 that was jamming up.Transferred a gun through them from buds and the store clerk first tried to lie that they hadnt received it. I said no, you guys signed for it this morning. Then he went in the back and said they have it, but its not logged in yet. I said thats fine, can you log it in and do the transfer since I was in the store??? He then told me they have 300 guns to log in and they just do them in order. That sounds like days of paperwork to me. I dont live in Lincoln, and told that to the clerk. He didnt care.Edit. Owner checks reviews and cares about what happens in the store. Also made it right. Which goes a long way to keep customers.

Wonderful place. Wanted to buy a gun online for the first time and they were extremely helpful walked me through each step and told me what to expect even though i was just having something shipped to them. When i went to pick it up the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I told them what i was there for and the got me started on the process right away and it was quick and easy. Building was huge, selection was amazing and prices were very competitive especially their instore sales. On top of everything it was also really low pressure and as someone with a bit of an anxiety disorder that was very very appreciated.15 and a half gold stars, will always be purchasing my firearms here.

What a gun store! By far the best prices I have seen anywhere. They blow the big box stores out of the water with their pricing and service! I have never seen so many firearms under one roof! Great website too! Glad to have deguns local to me!

Just had my first experience with this shop and they did nothing but impress. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Even as busy as they were, they tried to give every single person the attention they needed. My purchase was quick and simple. Forms are filled out in the store on laptops so you can do them while they help other people and theyre very efficient in everything while still being thorough. On top of the great service, the selection is MASSIVE. If youre looking for the little guy to support, this is the place. You get mom and pop service with big box selection and internet pricing. There isnt a draw back, the literally dont fall short in any area. I was definitely thrown back in a very very good way!

Ive bought and sold many firearms to and from DE Guns. They have a very knowledgeable staff and very helpful to make sure that your experience with them is the best it can be. Unbiased and fair, they wont try to force anything on you and are very considerate of your likes and dislikes when it comes to all different types of products, not just guns themselves but all accessories. They are interested in making sure you have the right products to be most efficient and effective for the task youre trying to accomplish. If they dont have it, theyll get it and at no hassle. A great store. I was searching for a particular gun and was unable to find it, but they had several in stock at a great price. The employees seemed knowledgable but they didnt try to pressure a sale at all. They have a great selection and I will definitely be going their for all of my gun and ammo needs.
