Super friendly and helpful staff. (And very patient for those needing lots of extra help.) The staff was also very accessible, which is not always the case in most stores. The store was clean and easy to maneuver. The prices were reasonable and it was easy to download a coupon from he website. Overall, it made for a great and easy shopping experience.

Michaels was always my go-to store for paper crafts. I signed up for their rewards program and never got a single coupon. I also checked the box for the senior discount and never received that either. When asked, the clerk said it just comes off the rewards card which I gave her but it was never deducted from my total. Recently, I returned a very pricey tape dispenser refill that was defective and DID NOT WORK. I did get a refund, but when I went back a couple of weeks later to buy another, when I got home I saw it was the exact same tape I returned, with the package taped back together, and it STILL DID NOT WORK. Beware at the store in Lincoln at 48th and R. Why would anyone put defective merchandise back on the shelf??? Ill be going to Jo-Anns from now on.

I have a lot of fun in Michaels looking at stuff, just not enough time to get it all done.

We enjoy this Michaels. They let us bring our dog in, very helpful if we are out running other errands. Always good prices or discounts on a lot of items. After holidays their inventory on clearance and discount items goes quickly but if you can catch it, they have fantastic deals. Prices year round arent bad though and they have a good variety of most of whatever you should need.

Great place for crafts

I am so thankful to the staff here for putting up with me every time I come in to buy markers. Im not the best with color so when I need to find the perfect color marker for something I always ending up asking the staff to eyeball it for me. Theyre always very nice and helpful about it and Im do glad that they are. Ive thought about applying for a job in the past, because I would love to talk to customers about what kind of art projects they are working on, and I think it would be nice to talk to an employee about what kind of art they do, to make a sense of art community and get to know the people working. But I might just say that because talking about art with new people is a nice experience.

Im an artist so I love any art and craft store. Michaels has products I cant get at other stores in Lincoln including a wide variety of adhesive choices. Thats what I was in for last. Also a great place to purchase solid color t-shirts. Great for moms of boys who arent super concerned about their clothes.

Thought I would give Michaels a second chance in the framing department. I needed a piece of mat board cut to frame size. I was under the impression that girl knew what she was doing. I go to pay for the mat board and one other item and it was $30 I +questioned. The price of the mat board was $15.99 ( $5 to have it cut. The price of the entire piece of mat board was $15.99. I told the girl I wanted the entire piece since I paid for it.I get home to put the project together. She didnt even cut the mat board correctly. So I wasted the $5 she charged me, and had to recut myself.Never ever shop at Michaels again.

This is really a coll store. So may artist type stuff I could have spent hours there just looking at everything. It was great Christmas shopping fun!

They have a great selection of craft items. And the prices are pretty good. They also tend to have good deals happening, so theres a good chance what you want might be on sale. My biggest complaint is that the checkout line moves so slowly. It seems like thats the case at every Michaels, unfortunately.

Good place to go for crafting or cute decorations for holidays. They were decked out for fall and Halloween. I am not ready for either! The staff was helpful. I was just browsing, but managed to spend $55 anyway!

I knew that Michaels had a good reputation, and it surpassed my expectations. I was surprised at the wide and varied the selection of products on hand. This went well beyond crafty things, and I encourage you to drop in if you are looking for a gift, or just want to kill some time before or after a movie.

I was looking for something special. I had to find someone to help me. She was rude. They did not have what I was looking for. However, it is a vary nice place with a ton of crafts. When my daughter was younger we want there a lot. They have so much to choose and have items like Wilton. Very nice store that I drive all the way across town to get there. It is worth the drive.

They dont have a very good selection of beads. They always seem picked over and had none of the stuff that was suppose to be on sale.

This was my first time in Michaels and it was just really crowded and there wasnt as much stuff as I have become accustomed to at Hobby Lobby. It seemed a little more expensive as well. The clerk was very polite.

Floor staff unhelpful and inattentive. No suggestions when asked, and unwilling to explain or attempt to explain services. Called earlier and left on hold for over ten minutes to check to see if they even carried an item.

I love this store! One of my favs. They almost always have what Im looking for. The staff has always been friendly and happy to help me find what Im looking for. They even offer demonstrations on crafts. They have a rewards program that is terrific. Even ordering online from their website is easy but not as fun as wondering around the store and seeing everything they have.

Michaels has EVERYTHING for every hobby and more. Just walk in and you will find something that you cannot live without. Crafty items, metal, wood, furniture, designing materials, paints...need I go on?Just go and take a look and you will return with a new idea each time!

I love this place went for replacement blades for my cricut and the lady at the register was super nice and helpful and answered my questions as well as double checked with a lady to make sure I got the right blades. She was awesome.

I prefer Michaels. The N48th location is clean and organized, but I couldnt find immediate help with an item search. This is the only one I shop at so I cant speak for the others.

We were looking for wedding flowers. We had multiple employees helping to get extras from the back. We didnt even ask! They just offered! At checkout, they asked if wed like the flowers put in boxes so 2 additional employees got boxes, put them together and packaged everything. All of the employees were extremely helpful and were always smiling and friendly. Such an extremely wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

One of my favorite stores. Im glad they now offer in-store pickup. Good selection of your basic arts and crafts to buy. Staff is usually knowledgeable and helpful.

Michaels can be compared to hobby lobby seeing as its main product line is craft items. They carry alot of seasonal items as well. Good for people who enjoys artistic things like making jewelry or sewing, making cards or painting. They also have a lot of discount on certain items every week. I like the location as well. Would definitely recommend.

Lots of promos as usual. Loved the selection, the store seems organized and the associates are friendly. We bought 3 decent sized plants to put into our terrarium and even a tortoise figurine and spent under 20 bucks.

I would love a better selection of scrapbook paper but overall satisfied. The prices seem a little high sometimes so make sure you bring a coupon. Sometimes I can find great deals in the clearance section.

I like this location better than the other Lincoln store. This one is larger, therefore it is less cramped. The employees are very helpful. Most will attempt to apply all the coupons available, to give you the lowest prices.

Very clean and easy to shop. I dont shop there much because they only accept one coupon at a time. I prefer Joann Fabric because they will take as many coupons as you have. I just used 6 coupons and they will even make sure you have used all coupons available.

I needed a certain size crochet hook. And they had one in a 3 pc.set for only $4.99! Plus regular priced yarn was buy two get the third, free!

Michales isnt a bad store. They have some decent sales and coupons. I was a little sad to find out that their coupon policy is really tight. You can only use multiple coupons only if they arent the same type. By that I mean that you cant use a it 50% off one item coupon and a 40%off one item together, but you can use a 50% off one item coupon and a 5 dollars off a purchase of 25 dollars or more coupon. Its a bit frustrating. One other positive though is that they accept competitor coupons. So if you have a Joann Fabrics coupon or a Hobby Lobby coupon you can use it at Michales.

It can be difficult to find staff at frame studio. They should put in a bell, buzzer, something for customers to notify staff. Prices are decent when there are sales or coupons.
