We bought our house less than 2 years ago. Up until about August 2020 we would always highly recommend them to anybody who was considering buying a home. We loved ours and love the layout. When we first moved in we had a few problems that were fixed quickly with in the warranty period.Now fast forward to August 2020 we noticed a dip in our floor between the kitchen and dining room (not on a seam) we have been trying to get in contact with Robbie(owner) to figure out what was going on. He FINALLY called us saying he was sending Scotbilt out to look at the problem. They came checked everything and determined it was a blocking issue. So they suggested we get back in touch with Robbie. My husband called him every week. He was once again FINALLY able to get him on the phone to be told he would be out in a week or so to look at it himself. Guess what a month later and NOTHING.To add to my prior review. They had a major break down in communication. The repair to our home was on the manufacturer. However the manufacturer tried to blame it on the set up. The guy who set it up came out to make sure the house was level and it was perfect. Once they got that established they quickly resolved the issue with the floor sagging.I will still recommend Lexington Discount Homes. They have tons of models to walk through and honestly not sure anyone can beat their prices.Again thank you for making this right and fixing the floor. Im glad it was able to be fixed without pulling the flooring up.

I cant say enough about this place. Will and Robbie and the entire staff of Lexington Discount Homes are very friendly and professional and made this an easy purchase. Once the home was brought out to my land they wasted no time getting the appropriate contractors to do the install. Less than 2 weeks after delivery the home has had footers poured, house set, blocking, underpinning, septic and power hookup and all inside trim done, and steps built. My wife and I both are very pleased with the pride each contractor has seemed to take in their work and the friendliness of each one and we are very excited to soon be moving in. Not only did they give me the best price on the home, their customer service has been excellent. I would highly recommend Lexington Discount Homes to anyone looking to purchase. I shopped around a couple months before making a purchase and am glad we chose to go with them. Best price, honest and friendly staff. Definitely 5 stars.

Would not recommend unless you want to be moving in when your first payment is due and ok with them dragging their feet with everything except them getting their money. 4 years ago awesome place and great service. That is the only reason I came back a second time. Definitely not what it used to be. I have 2 friends wanting to buy a home after seeing mine, but will not be sending them this way because of how the process has been. Excuse after excuse.

I have a on going problem with Lexington Discount Homes. I was promised a matching vynal floor in my living room. It was put in with very poor workmanship. Does not not match other flooring and there is abundance of staples coming thru flooring. Both doors have been worked on numerous times still gaps around doors. Neither works properly. While trying to get floor redone the owner spoke to me very insulting to a 77 year old woman said I was a old woman that was to hard to please and would be a cold day in hell before I got another floor. Floor still in bad shape.

Just got into my home and I couldn’t be mire pleased with the customer service. Ask for Will. He is awesome!!! Highly recommend!

We bought our home for these wonderful people and love it. . They worked very hard when we was ordering our house. They really go over and beyond.

Friendly people to do business with but the contractors the hire are fair. My steps were done poorly. Uneven and poorly built. Took 5 months to get them to fix them and they still arent level. They are dangerous to walk on when wet. I recommend you hire your own contractor for your steps if you buy from them.

We saw some nice models and some great concepts. Some models did not make the best use of space though. It was interesting how well some were designed and fitted for a pre-made home.

They have gone above and beyond!!! Nice people and you can trust their word. Im very happy I didnt shop anywhere else!!!

We love the layout of our home. We purchased our new home 2 years ago. The main issue for us is mice. We asked before purchasing our home if it would be tight enough to be mouse proof. Robbie gave my wife his word that it would be. Sad to say since the first month we have battled mice. Every time someone came out they stated yes there was an issue but we solved it. Only to have yet another mouse make our home its. We are very clean people keeping even our dog food far away from the house as to not draw vermin. We are afraid to use poison due to small children and a beloved outside dog.Robbie from Lexington Discount Homes who made the promise ended up saying that:1 – We must have brought them from our last home.2 – We live in the woods so we need to get used to animals.3 – Mice are acrobatic.He even stated he is dealing with mice in his own home. As I write this review I just heard a mouse trap snap I kid you not (I included a picture of this mouse)! I lived in my last home that was built in the 50s and only had 3 mice in 13 years. Food has to be stored in containers. Floors have to be sanitized because we have young ones. All due to lies and bad setup. Holes cut under sinks and tub are large enough for a raccoon and are un-foamed. The barrier under the house looks good but is obviously not working. Needless to say we will be sealing the home but we have to destroy the barrier or cut holes in the cabinets to do so. I strongly encourage you to get in contract that they will deal with this or do not buy from them.Michael

Weve been in our home for 3 months.we can only use 1 bathroom because of a water a leak.the master bath receptacles dont work because of a bad gfi.we had a walk through 2 months ago.They did fix the popping noises in the floors. But there back now.said they was gonna be back the next day to fix the leak in the bathroom. Never showed back up.told us clayton would be here to fix all problems with in 2 weeks.that was 2 months ago.also cant lock our back sliding door.cant leave the entrance door open due to the gap in the screen door that lets bugs in.Im sure the wet rotted sheet rock is probably growing mold by now.the back deck has no concrete around the post.so they are warping.looks like a snake when you look down the hand rails.oh.and ot a door knob about to fall off.

They helped us out of a real bind when another company did not start building our home. We found out 3 months later it was not even started and we had sold our stick built home. Will jumped into action and got our custom built Scotbilt home on line and his crew brought and set up our beautiful lovely home. Everyone who does business with the company and owner only has good things to say about them including us. Only buy from lexington discount homes!

Friendly until they have your money then the lack of service is so bad they dodge phone calls has taken 6 months just to get a few things done floor is still one and a half inches unlevel and a lot of other things. My brother in law is buying two homes and i told him to never buy from them. Couldnt do any worse at any other lot

What an awesome experience I had with the whole team at Lexington Discount Homes. Very friendly and super helpful in my purchase of my new mobile home. Jon Rodgers and all the staff were so great to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a mobile home. Great pricing on all their homes.

We have been dealing with this place since November of 2019. It has been the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in any aspect. We still do not have a home as of 11/12/2021and they can not tell us when we will. We signed the first agreement in November 2020 and were told we would have our home in May. We had to sign another agreement early February due to a $4,000 price increase and then were told due to Covid the timeline had moved back to July. Since then the timeline has been pushed back so many times. From May to July to August to October to last we were told early part of 2022 or they dont really know for sure. The communication from the actual manufacturing company in Alabama has been better than that from the sales person at Lexington Discount Homes. They claim they cannot get lead times, etc from the manufacturer but we have called and have had no issues getting in contact with someone. We understand Covid has affected things but this is beyond ridiculous. I had conversation with Jon back in May about a certain model (the Monroe) trying to see if they would get homes in on the lot that we could purchase and have sooner. They actually had one of these models come in in October and it was sold with us never knowing they even had it until I had saw it on the website and asked about it, and by then it had already been sold. From lack of communication to selling another home out from under us after we signed an agreement and were waiting on an appraisal, because cash in hand is better customer service than calling and speaking with the people that already had agreed to purchase the home first. I would not recommend this place. I have heard from friends that have purchased from here that they have had issues with their homes and they have refused to fix. If I could leave zero stars or negative stars, I most definitely would. Im wondering since it has been this much of a hassle trying to even get a home and the lack of communication and customer service have been this bad how is it going to be if and when we get a home.
