As usual there is only one line open and everything is over priced. This morning I left my items sitting on the counter and walked out. Non existent customer service. For the 3 years I have tried to shop there. Never again. Worst store in Lexington. One star rating is too good.

Absolutely the worst grocery store in Lexington NC and the food is out of date and they still selling it to the public. If you can shop else where, food Lion is always the best option. If you cant read than stay read, stay away from compare food in Lexington NC. This place is taking advantage of the less fortunate. No ratings. Terrible

I can personally say that the cashier infront (short one) was very nice and a great helper. She deserves a raise for all her good work. Also she pretty much runs that b. So please give her a shout and round of applause. Definitely one of the best people I’ve met and the cutest!

I really like Compare Foods as for their clerks thats a very different matter. Used to get greeted with a Smile and small chitchat. And have a nice day. They used to help. Not anymore!And they were not crowded only 2 3 customers in store.

They always have what Im looking for with reasonable prices. Fast and friendly employees, and the store is always clean.

Friendly atmosphere. Everyone was very helpful and making sure that I could find what I was looking for. Also constantly upgrading appearance and Aesthetics of store. Very nice.

They do not understand how the check cashing process works. Most payroll checks deal with outside companies to do payroll. So if a local check has a local company logo on it and the bank is local, Thats means its not an out of town check. You do not personally go yourself to retrieve the money if the check bounces. I think you need to be qualified to be a manager. At least kno what you are talking about so you dont look stupid.

I love this place its so cheap easy to park and find your car always near the store. Never to busy because theyre very fast it depends on you as far as long your there5 stars any day,Friendly and easy access to what you need.

They do have cheaper prices but they lack in freshness & quality. The produce was old, wilted, & some rotting. I would never buy any meats from there because the sanitation of the meat & packaging looked sceptical. Almost like a 3rd world market but the 3rd world market has fresher items.

Good place to shop but keep on price they do not keep them updated in the system. They will correct the prices for you.

The store provides a nice variety of ethnic foods that I cant find in other stores. I go for the ginger root which is usually priced considerably less than other stores.

Compared to the Raleigh they dont have a wide selection like pepper sause and normal things like curry powder vs curry past things Im used to getting but there pretty good on prices and variety of meats

Always check your receipts. They almost always charge more then advertised and even if u cath them they dont fix it. They just do an overide. They cont on u not keepin up with what u owe.

Had several things that you could not find at other grocery stores. Prices were okay on some things. But the store was very cold. Even on a 50 degree day it felt colder in the store.

No one greeded us . Meat didnt look fresh. Strawberries severely rotten on the shelf.. The few on sale items I did pick up. Rang up full price.
