If you are looking for affordable office furniture, this is the place. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Right now it is very difficult to find office furniture in stock anywhere and we needed to furnish three offices quickly. They helped us assess inventory to determine our options! It all worked out and the price was very reasonable.

The first new mattress I bought from them the slats were all broken. They finally replaced it but were extremely ugly and this one is doing the same thing. It’s almost $300 I’ll have to throw away. This time I’ll go to BBB as I do t want to be verbally abused by these folks. I’m a senior and have no reason to lie. My sister came to take care of me after surgery and can’t sleep in this bed. She sinks in the muddle and this is with an expensive topper I could not afford an expensive mattress as I’m on social security but they should not be allowed to just steal your money. I was told it was a good mattress

Could only find better prices buying out of a mini storage building (who buys mattresses from a mini storage building). Great people. Great products. Go there, but your mattress there. Save some money from the big stores prices. Youll be glad you did!

We furnished almost our entire house with furniture from this wonderful store. Having sold everything we owned in a prior move we were starting fresh with a new house in this state and had literally nothing. The prices at this store were well under half of what we would have paid anywhere else, and believe me, I am a savvy shopper who went everywhere and compared tons of online pricing. No one could match or even come close to these prices. Bob was amazing to deal with. He worked out deliveries and he and his brother were the ones to actually deliver the furniture. Its a family run business that takes pride in their work. I got an amazing stand-up desk for such a reasonable price! I had not been able to find any that I could afford until I came here. I highly recommend this store!

I had visited Absolute discount mattress and furniture a few times. I finally decided after my husband was murdered that it was time to change up my space. I had purchased a dining table with four chairs, a mattress, and a bed frame. I thought that the prices were reasonable. However, the staff’s communication skills were lacking. I was not informed when me furniture came in. I had to call constantly. The mattress I purchased was much firmer than I remembered and actually makes it hard for me to sleep but of course they would not accept the mattress back. I went to pick up my dining table and chair and I realized I had been charged for six chairs instead of four. To my dismay, the manager refused to simply refund me for the two chairs and let me take the set home. The store has two locations and there is not a lot of communication between the two locations. Although the communication issue was not on my part, I felt that I was ultimately penalized for it. I had to wait an additional 5 weeks to receive my set. I called on a Friday to find out what was going on with my set. The manager and one of the employees rambled a but on the phone and then I was told my set had come in Wednesday. I asked them why I wasnt informed and when could I pick up the set. The response I received was not what a paying customer would like to hear. They told me I could come pick up the set in boxes. I have a friend with the same set and her set was assembled when she purchased it. I called back immediately after speaking with my friend and requested the set be assembled prior to pick up. I was told that there would be further delay on getting the set, and they weren’t sure when they would be able to get the set assembled. The following Tuesday afternoon comes and I get a call from them stating my set had come in and did I want to pick up the set assembled or in boxes.. . to my surprise I responded with I know because it had been in since last week, or at least that is what I was told when I called to check on the set Friday. I was very frustrated at this point. The employee on the other line apologized. Stating they had just come into work and that she should not of even called. I still do not have my set and I am a very disappointed and dissatisfied customer at this point.

Unprofessional, inconsistent, unreliable, rude, tacky, dirty, terrible quality. The mattress I chose in the showroom was not what I got, they had their kids working, and I had to call repeatedly to schedule my delivery, which did not occur when it was schedule. The guys who delivered also were rude. $400 later we threw out the garbage mattress because it was so bumpy, spiky and uncomfortable, after a month of use, no one could sleep on it. WASTE. Zero stars

I searched all over town for the best deal on a queen mattress set, and I found the best price at Absolute Discount. Not only am I pleased with the price, but I am exceptionally happy with the customer service that I received in store. The gentleman working in the office was incredibly nice, and I did not feel pressured at all - nor did I feel I was being taken advantage of by tacky sales gimmicks that you may normally experience at national retailers. I will definitely return, as well as recommend them to my friends and family. Great work, folks!

Staff nice and friendly but my mistake not comparing prices before purchasing a sofa. After paying for sofa and then looking at some other places I realized I paid A few hundred dollars more than I would have at Ashely furniture for same sofa..bummed..not the best deal in town😢 And they do an ALL SALES FINAL SO I AM STUCK! Even worse I am not completely in love with the sofa!

Absolute discount? More like absolute disappointment. After being quoted 2 weeks, and lied to 4 times by the son, I finally have a couch. But if I could get my money back instead of this couch, I absolutely would. Im always a fan of supporting local places but this place Columbia would be better off without. Spend your money elsewhere.

Horrible customer service and they didnt keep their end of the verbal contract.My husband and I visited this place to find a specific mattress. After looking at all their mattresses on site, we spoke to the two me there, Jim and Bob. They looked up the mattress I was wanting and said they could order it for us. They said they place orders on Mondays, mattresses are delivered on Friday, and they will either deliver Friday or Monday depending when the mattress arrives.We called and placed the order on a Monday, paying the deposit, I was told it would be in on Friday and they would call me on Friday to set up delivery. He told me they could deliver Friday if it came in early enough, if not, then they would deliver on Monday.I never received a phone call on Friday. I called and left a message on Today at 5:30, the recording said they close at 6, so I expected a return call before the end of the day. I didnt receive a return call on Friday.Bob called me on Saturday morning around 10:30 to set up delivery. I was busy shopping at the mall with my 2 year old. Very inconvenient time to discuss mattress delivery and payment. I was told the mattresses didnt arrive until late Friday evening, and the earliest they could deliver would be Tuesday. Not Monday, Tuesday. He scheduled my delivery for Tuesday between 10am - 1pm. I explained to him how desperately I needed my mattress ASAP due to my bad back. I had to pay the remaining balance on the mattress and was going to do so on the phone, but because I was in the mall, he advised me to call back at a more convenient time anytime prior to delivery to pay the balance. I called first thing Tuesday morning to pay the balance and was told they couldnt deliver my mattress that day because I never called to pay the balance.Instead of calling me to get payment on Monday, they simply removed me from the delivery list. Horrible customer service.After speaking to both Jim and Bob, they refused to deliver to me Tuesday, even though they were still loading mattresses for delivery that day. I expressed my severe dislike for their horrible customer service and after a very heated conversation, requested my deposit back and told them to keep their mattress.They are refusing to return my deposit, even though they didnt hold up their end of the agreement to begin with. I have filed a dispute and will be getting my deposit back.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!!

If you are looking for a quality mattress at a great price you need to stop by and visit there showroom. All the mattress sets they carry are display so you can lay on them to find your perfect comfort before you buy. We purchased a Serta Mattress and after shopping around the area at other mattress store found there prices to be more reasonable than the others we looked at. They carry mattresses starting at $179 a set all the way up to the high end adjustable beds and mattresses.

Awful, awful, customer interaction! Dropped by this store on a whim looking for a desk. First encounter with an employee who rudely asks me Whatcha looking for? I tell him looking for the office furniture section. First door is locked (which is actual door to walk into the furniture section) and he tells me I have to go the next door. Second encounter with saleswoman no better. Felt like I was bothering her by just coming in! And I think she rolled her eyes at me. Kindly walked out, even though I really wanted the desk I saw. Would rather pay $1000 to someone else than this business. Also contacted Sauder (for whom this business is an exclusive provider of the Brands discounted office furniture) and made them aware of the service I received today regarding there products being sold here. Well see how this plays out!

Went to look at a vanity table for my wife but shes handicap (wheelchair) & there is NO ACCESSIBLE to their showroom. There is a handicap parking spot (?)... I wonder what thats about.

Store associates were very courteous and polite. I told them my price range and the associate showed me exactly what was in my budget. I didnt feel pressured at all to buy anything. Upon purchasing my matress they went out of the way to get me same day delivery. Within thirty minutes they were knocking at my door and quickly set up up my mattress. I am highly satisfied with customer service i received and definitely recommend.

My experience wasnt that great. They were nice and all but I put a bedset on layaway being told that if I changed my mind I could cancel it. Less than 24hrs later someone gave me a great set for $100. The owner refused to give me my money back after being told I could. He offered a store credit which I dont need. Wont be going back

I went in to purchase a mattress as I was a returning customer with previous excellent service. The same gentlemen whom helped me previously helped with this purchase. The previous visit I went through a leasing company for 90 days interest and fee free. Everything was paid off and had no issue. Upon returning two weeks ago I was going to pay in full but asked if the same program applied as before. I was assured that it did and there was interest free and only needed to pay $49.95 down towards my actual purchase (as was the previous agreement). Since I didnt have any issues with last purchase I assumed what the employee told me was accurate and correct, so the places he provided me to sign , I did without hesitation. Here we are two weeks later and I am now at a loss of $49.95 , with Okinus stating that the additional fee is for early payoff within 90 days and any amount paid doesnt go towards the actual purchase as it did last time. (These are new rules since last purchase which i was not informed). Okinus said they of course were unable to do anything being that they werent there during closing of contract that i signed. I reached out to Absolute Discount Mattress, and spoke with a gentlemen (not the one whom helped with purchase), whom was very unprofessional and initially told me i was wrong about previous purchase that i had paid a fee before, but then apologized and corrected himself when he located agreement. Then he advised me that i was never asked for a down payment (for this current contract) because they dont collect down payment on Okinus, that the $49.95 was a fee that was if i paid off within 90 days. I explained to the gentlemen that i was asked for the $49.95 but i insisted on paying more as i did last time, and was told this payment would go towards my purchase as it did before. He (although he was not present) insisted this was not what was told to me. He said there was nothing they could do but he would review cameras and audio but still wouldnt change anything regardless of what the other gentlemen told me. I repeatedly felt as i was being called a liar, as everyone does make mistakes, and it very well could have been a misunderstanding or the gentlemen simply didnt know the changes that occured with Okinus as he has always been friendly and helpful. However this mistake which clearly they wont own up is ending up costing me $49.95, because i was just advised to sign in areas without seeing the actual contract before doing so. So yes i felt lured into a contract that was not needed , but only of convenience, but lesson learned for sure, dont believe what they tell you, and make sure to read contract, because if i were to go back in time id be very sure to take the computer in my hands to read instead of him just pointing out where to sign , no matter how many questions i asked , and no matter what he had told me.. very very misleading, and not a good way to do business by no means.

They first tried to deliver two defective mattresses in a row, apologized took them back. There were holes all around the sides of them and also a hole in the to of the second! Then owner calls and say we only have the newer versiOn of this, you want it? I ask is it the same firmness? “To me it is. If we bring it you will have to pay for delivery. “ I try to protest, but I say okay let’s try, we are desperate. Third one arrives, saggy as heck. I call and tell him it was nothing like the other one. They won’t refund fOr delivery. I try to explain that he is making a poor decision punishing an already slighted customer and that he should get the make of the faulty mattresses to pay for delivery, but no luck. What a disappointment and insult. Stay away from this place. They must be selling factory seconds without advertising that?

Bob and Jim were very helpful to me and made sure I was satisfied with what I chose before I left the store and they even stayed a little late to make sure things were set up to be delivered. Thanks again you guys !!

Great price for our box spring.

On April 28th, 2014, my husband and I went to this place, after finding their ad online for a camo bedroom set. We went in, found a bedroom set for our teen daughter, and put the $700 down on both sets, to be paid in full before delivery. We were told that our furniture would be delivered within 7-10 days, and we would get a call ahead of time to schedule our delivery.On May 9th, we hadnt heard anything from Mr. Morris (the guy who we dealt with) and decided to give them a call. Mr. Morris said that our daughters bedroom set would be in the following week, but he wasnt sure when OUR bedroom set would be in, but that he would find out and give us a call back. We understood that there were some delays, and we were willing to wait a little while longer, even though our daughter didnt have a bedroom set (we had just moved across the country 3 days before making this purchase).We didnt receive a call back. So, we called again a couple of days later. Still no word on when our bedroom set would be in, so we asked if they could go ahead and deliver our daughters bedroom set when it came in. We were told that it would be in the NEXT week (May 11th-17th), and that they would have to put it together in the warehouse.At this point, I was VERY frustrated. Here we are, moved into our new home, and cant put our bedroom things away because we were lied to. Nevertheless, we knew we had to sit back and wait.Last week (on Thursday, May 15th, I believe), we were told that OUR bedroom set would be in THE FOLLOWING WEEK (May 18th-24th), and they would get both sets delivered to us.They FINALLY called my husband YESTERDAY, May 21st, and told him that the furniture would be here tomorrow (which is today, May 22nd) between 2 and 4 pm. He paid off the sets (for a total of over $1300).Its been over 3 weeks since the bedroom sets were ordered.What do they do TODAY? Call my husband at noon, and ask if they can RESCHEDULE OUR DELIVERY because they had a medical emergency IN THE WAREHOUSE that DID NOT AFFECT OUR DELIVERY GUYS.SO WHY TRY TO RESCHEDULE OUR DELIVERY???? Its NOON! Why isnt the furniture already on the truck, if that was the reason for the need to reschedule? You dont have a big enough truck to fit multiple orders on it? Ok. I understand. Do you seriously only have 1 or 2 people in your warehouse who can load furniture on a truck? Nobody else can load furniture on a truck, including the delivery guys... who UNLOAD the truck? Seriously...I *was* originally promoting business for them.. but, after all of this, I have to say that I will NEVER purchase from them again. That takes A LOT of HARD WORK for me to not want to purchase from a place. Absolute Discount absolutely did it.
