I am not understanding why they are not open until 8 PM anymore. YesI know it’s Covid but what does that have to do with their hours?It’s very inconvenient!!

Im giving 4 stars only because the store itself is awesome, and VERY few employees there. The most recent visit really upset me to the point I was about to leave. I walk in like normal and I always expect someone to ask me if I need help, especially if they arent the regular cashiers. This time I was asked over and over seemed like every minute, I had already told the woman that I knew exactly what I went in for. Yet, she kept asking and somewhat watching me. I overheard her tell another cashier that I was making a decision, which is fine but I swear I heard her tell the other woman to watch her. If it wasnt the fact I didnt want to go to another store, I would have told her what I thought. I probably spend more there than the average person so it was uncalled for in my opinion. Ive worked retail for years and I would have NEVER acted like that towards someone unless I see them acting suspicious. I wasnt even in there for 5 minutes, hence I know what I came for... Unless she can read my mind to know what color I want to dye my hair next....I would have asked for help.Other than that; the store and the other 2 women that know me that work there are GREAT!

I am standing at the store, curbside order, I pay for the order. She brings it out the store. I look at its the wrong thing.o asked for. She tell me she can not take it back and I cant have a refund. People akere its the right product before tpay for product. I will nevertheless shop at this store again. Worst experience I ever had

Did not have a color i needed for the 4th time but did say they would call when or if it came in.also had to pay 15 cents for a bag to put my purchase in to carr

This Sally Beauty location is pretty good. The employees are usually helpful and nice, and the store is organized in a logical way where it is easy to find what you need.There used to be an elderly lady who worked here that was kind of mean. She acted like you were inconveniencing her by coming into the store, and God forbid you try to use any coupons. When I was bleaching my hair, I asked her for an estimate of how much bleach I would need to cover all of my hair. Instead of simply saying she didnt know, she recommended that I get an amount of bleach that ended up being about HALF the amount that I actually needed.BUT since she doesnt seem to work at this location anymore, it has gotten a lot better. The girls that work in there now are really sweet and helpful.

Friendly employees with little to no knowledge of the products. The only employee in the store sold me about $15 of hair bleaching supplies. The developer was too strong and I didnt know until I started bleaching. When I got home I got started I didnt leave it in for very long. It bleached my roots burned my scalp and made the red color brighter instead of removing it. I tried the color remover before bleaching it didnt do anything either.

Another store I will boycott for taking advantage of this fake pandemic. Opening at 10am, but only taking orders at the door.

I really love the convenience of having a Sally Beauty Supply in Lexington. The store itsself is very nice. Its always clean and well lit. Parking is usually pretty easy to find. It can be crowded sometimes since it is in a shopping center. Sally offers great discounts for professional stylists and consumers alike.They have several great color and styling product lines that are even comparable to salon exclusive lines. Their selection of appliances are great because there are prices points for every budget. I really like that their makeup selection has expanded over the years. Their nail and skin care items are limited but you can always find something great. I particularly love their false lashes and often times you can find them on sale.While Sally Beauty Supply is a smaller store, I believe it makes it easier to find what you need sometimes. Youre not lost among hundreds of different products trying to make a decision. They also offer salon equipment which can be ordered in store and delivered to your home. At one time they were delivering products to salons, in the area, as well. I think thats a great service to offer because beyond Sally, the closest professional beauty supply stores are in Winston or High Point. Sally Beauty is a great choice for local professionals and consumers alike.I have to say that the current manager is really great. I had gone in several months ago to buy a couple of things and someone approached me outside. They had been in the store when I was updating my information for my Sally Pro Card, so they heard my name which they addressed me by, which caught me off guard. This person told me a story about their car running out of gas and needing money. Whether or not they were telling the truth, I didnt have any cash on me to give them anything.If I had, I probably would have given them a dollar or two honestly. I told them no and that I was sorry but they should try some of the local businesses around here. This person proceeded to keep asking me and blocked my path to my vehicle. I was starting to get very uncomfortable that they wouldnt take no for an answer. I decided to go back into the store and told the manager what happened.She said that I was more than welcome to stay in the store until they left. So this person asked a gentlemen who was coming into the store who also declined to give this individual money. This person entered the store once more and said some pretty rude things about me. I explained I was uncomfortable and that they stood in the way to block me from getting into my car.The manager was very nice and level headed and explained to this person that they could not be outside the store panhandling and making people uncomfortable. She was very direct and firm with her words but was still respectful. I really appreciate that she went out of her way for me to do this. The manager could have just told me to deal with it myself but she could tell I was anxious. She also could have been rude to this person but she let them know tactfully that panhandling wasnt allowed. I thought that she handled the situation really well.
