If youre looking for a solid tire shop, VIP Tires in Lawrence, MA, should be on your list.Called them Sunday inquiring about some tires that another shop was going to need about 2 weeks to get for me, and Al, the Asst. Manager, said he could get them within a couple of days. Boy he delivered too. The tires only took one day to arrive, and he also matched the pricing that the other shop in NH was going to charge me out the door. So they truly stand behind their price match guarantee.Once I took the truck in, both Al and Mark the technician on staff were awesome guys.Not sure why I havent been to this place before, but dont see myself buying tires from any other place in the future.Both Al and Mark have been with the company over 10 years, so that also shows that VIP Tires takes care of its people too. Which makes me even more happy to take my business there.Good work VIP Tires team.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience,I went to vip before and the reason I return is because years back I did an oil change and the guy was super helpful and told me all the things my car needed he was very professional.but went back almost a month ago and they charge me almost 800 dollars the receipt said they charge me for a diagnostic labor that was 117 Valve cover gasket that was 231 Valve cover gasket set that was83.13 R and R Valve cover gasket 93.60 ignition wire set54.92 they did the oil change even though I told them that it wasnt necessary because I did it myself 2 weeks prior! That was 35 fan belt power steering system 100.81 the belt 18.91 serpentine belt replacement 99.14 the list goes on and on with extra fees. This was on an old car a 1993 Toyota Camry and the worse thing is that my car got an antifreeze leak ever since I brought it there.and when I went to pay they didnt go through the stuff they did to the car.before I would give them a 5 stars,but today just 1 star.i feel like they ripped me off.and before I leave the receipt said 282.59 in parts and 493.91 in labor it came to 787.01 to be exact. in labor plus tax and all the chananigan

Went for a vehicle alignment that I had an appointment for at 3:00 p.m.. They took the car right away and were done in 20 minutes awesome service clean place and price was exactly as stated online $109. I originally had an appointment at Firestone at 11:00 a.m. they were awful said I had to wait an hour before they could even look at the car and I had made this appointment two days ahead of time so I went to VIP they were excellent.

Went in for my axel on my Saturn and got great care from Michael. Everything went smooth and everything works much better!

Not finding it (presumably due to steep temperature drop overnight) they refilled the air and swapped it back in place with the spare. All of this was done with the greatest care, attention and professionalism and good attitude! I was looking at a used vehicle and needed a trustworthy opinion in a pinch since I was in an unknown area out of state. These guys were AWESOME with their inspection details and suggestions and made me feel like I was at my local VIP. I bought the car and dont regret it, and thanks to their advice was able to find what was wrong and get the seller to take care of it before I bought it to make sure thats all it was. Amazing experience! I literally wont go anywhere else or let any other mechanic touch my car. The guys at VIP know my car inside and out and theyre always super helpful if I have any questions without just trying to sell me something. Even though theyre usually pretty busy (try to schedule an appointment first vs. showing up out of the blue), youre legitimately out of there within 20 minutes. Its awesome if youre so busy that you have to use your lunch break to go get an oil change. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

I own four cars and wouldnt think of having anyone other than VIP work on them.They are honest, incredibly competent, professional, and totally customer-focused. From a simple oil change for my Jeep to dropping the engine and transmission on my Jag Ive been very satisfied with the quality and cost of the work. In fact, Ive repeatedly chosen them over going to the dealership because their work is that good.When I last brought in my Jag for new brakes the tech who worked on it, Sean, actually made a point of cleaning the rims as well—now thats service!I highly recommend them.

The service desk guys are friendly and working quickly. They charged me a very reasonable price for a small repair, including diagnosis.Parking was very difficult. Usually thats not the case, but I think the winter tire swap wave was hitting them.

For 3 years, I have been bringing my 2007 CRV to VIP in Lawrence for oil changes and have always appreciated the polite, friendly and professional staff but it wasnt until some recent car problems that I realized just how extraordinary the team is. Not only did they work hard to get to the root of the problem,they moved heaven and earth to get the right parts at a fair price. Through no fault on their end, the process was about 2 weeks until resolution. I really appreciated the superior communication every step of the way and Each person I spoke with was personable, helpful and eager to help. I hope that managers and VIP corporate are aware of how truly remarkable the team is!

Ive been using VIP for the last couple years and could not speak more highly of the team and the service there. Ive bought three sets of tires from them and theyve been prompt and courteous each time. On my latest trip I noticed a charge that didnt seem to make much sense to me on my bill after having left the station. I called VIP the next day and after a 2 minute conversation John (I believe thats the managers name) fully agreed that the charge didnt make sense and fully refunded the charge despite the fact that it was a standard charge, according to the VIP corporate team. John went to bat on my behalf and Ill be a customer there for a long time because of it.

I have been taking my cars to VIP in lawrence for about 20 years now . The service is always friendly and never have I walked away feeling over charged for the work done They have been open and honest about what needs to be done but never pushy.Friendly and accomodating as I tend to make last minute appiontments.

Another UPDATE Ttoday 01-14-2020: I brought my car to MY Mechanic and $700.00 worth of damage later my car is finally fixed CORRECTLY, coils were damage when they didnt tighten the valve cover and other parts properly and the so called new spark plugs and wires that were so called replaced were no good when my car was at VIP for the 3rd or 4th time they had to go over to the dealer to replace the valve cover that was already fixed...NOT. AFTER ALL THIS THE ONLY THING I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK to help pay this extra Bill off. Now I know it probably wont happen But on the extremely slight chance they will do the right thing that is what I want.UPDATE still ZERO STARS: as of January 3rd, 2020 I have had my car in a real shop and all the work that was done wrong on my car has wrecked the coils in my engine, thanks a lot.PS to the District Manager Anthony, you have a real nerve leaving me a voice mail message stating I had to update my review and give your so called certified technicians 5 stars cause the job is complete... not its not for me and you will never get that from me unless my money in full is given back... 4 times in there and its still not rightPLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THIS THIS PLACE EVERZero Stars if I could, 3 visits to fix a leaking valve gasket cover, 1st tech didnt put it on right and the 2nd tech didnt see this problem either, the 3rd time VIP had to go to the dealership to replace the same part the valve gasket cover and the temperature gage because the valve cover wasnt put together correctly to begin with and it blew the temp gage, its still leaking today after over a month of dealing with this problem started this process on 10-06-19 its now 12-4-19 Still leakimg and now I am waiting for a call from the DM, BOTTOM LINE NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN

Generally good service, but nothing to write home about. I once had an issue with having an air filter changed. Not only did the feeling of being upsold linger over the interaction, but they also failed to install it properly! I was furious, but the manager did make things right (free oil change coupon). I would double check work just to make sure if you do service here. Other than that though I usually leave satisfied.

Tech was thorough and balancing still perfect at 10K miles.Been back here many times since my first service and tire install. They are no-nonsense, hard-working folks who are honest and get the job done.

My vehicle broke down.. AAA digested I take my vehicle there to get it repaired... They flat out lied to me on the cost and the time to repair ... I would never bring a vehicle there again... Stay away

Will never be coming here again. Our car was brought in to get the battery replaced. It wasnt even an hour later that the power steering fluid was leaking. Not a slow leak like what comes after years and years of use and wearing away. The fluid was utterly drained. We have NEVER had problems with the power steering fluid (or any kind of fluid) and the car is regularly inspected to make sure it is working properly. If I could rate at negative 5 stars I would.

Always do a great job, always take care of my concerns but never let me leave without giving me a heads up of any issues that I should keep an eye on, thank you so much for all your hard work

When you get a call from your son who is 130 miles away that he has a flat tire and it is not reparable, what does a mother do? She goes into the Auburn, Me VIP and speaks with the gentleman who provided top notch service when she needed tires for her vehicle. Matt M., the manager in Auburn reassured me that he would take care of us. Picking up the phone to call the VIP in Lawrence, Mass, he spoke with the manager Jon R. and explained the situation. Within minutes, they discussed the specific tires that would be the best fit for our vehicle and provided pricing information. Without hesitation, Jon had my son come right over to have the work done, despite the fact it was late afternoon nearing closing time. He would take care of the vehicle even if he had to work on it himself. Cant say enough about these two VIPs, and by that I mean Matt and Jon. Overall outstanding customer service. Peace of mind for this mom!

Took my 2004 Lexus es330 here for a tune up, alignment and new tires. The job was good at a fair priceThe alignment wasnt perfect, but I spoke up and it was redone to my liking. I would recommend on account of mechanic experience and hardware

Last night, I got a terrible flat tire on my way home from work -- and my car doesnt come with a spare. I had the car towed to this VIP location just as it was set to close. George, the man who helped me, came right out and met me in the parking lot, friendly and happy to help -- not at all grumpy that I rolled in at 6. He and the technician put on a new tire and I was able to drive myself home within 20 minutes of showing up. Really fantastic. Thank you so, so much.

Ive been going to VIP for a little while now. They have all been great. My recent visit was because of my brakes and my taillights. I like them because they explain thungs so I can understand and if they see something they will bring it to your attention.

I have used VIP for 8 years now. They just keep getting better. The service department is in great shape with Jon the shop manager and Esteban asst mgr. I brought my 1 year old Subaru Forester for tire rotation. Esteban expertly pointed out balance & alignment, the the oil was dirty, the cabin filter looked like Star Wars the trash bin Chewy and Lea were trapping in...No sales pressure at all from Jon and Esteban, just reminding me the Subi has 20K and its due for service. They showed me the filter and dip stick...let me decide what service I wanted. Excellent work guys!!!

VIP estimated and completed the resonator and pipe work for about $100-120 less than the dealership. And so far, so good, ran like new. Parts were in stock with no waiting or phone calls to parts supply stores.

Great service and people at VIP. Since I bought my car more than a year ago, I have taken it to VIP for all servicing - new tires, tire rotation and alignment, oil changes, and (this month) new brake pads and rotors. There is a waiting area with coffee and a Roku TV. And there is free WiFi!

Dont waste your time if you have a flat. they are there to sell you tires not repair them. I was told they could not fix a simple patch job and I would have to buy new tire/s at $150 (incl everything). Went down the street just a bit on the right side and got it repaired and installed for $20. It was not a huge blow out, it was a simple nail in the tire scenario.customer service attentiveness was very good and I can see they carry a lot of other things there so I will try them for other things hense the 3 stars.

A bait and switch on pricing. Dropped off my vehicle to have (4) new tires put on, along with a new battery. The person at the front desk informed me that someone would call me within the hour to discuss my options. I received that call and I asked them the cost. It was communicated to me that it would be $112.99 per tire, what they failed to mention was that there is labor and extras on top of it. Upon picking up my vehicle, I was expecting $112.99 x 4 = $452.00. Instead, my bill was $916!!! (that included a new $122 battery)... The person on the phone was not at all clear and about additional costs.
