Lawrence Nissan came to my office where my car was located and got it started. I drove out to the service center and they took care of changing out the dead battery on a holiday weekend. They have superior service and response time. Our next vehicle will be a Nissan!

I had some warranty work that needed to be done. Parts were ordered in April of 2021 and they didn’t get around to doing the work until July 23 2021. So I dropped off my vehicle for the warranty work to be done. I then get a call later saying that the part was damaged, and that they would have to order another part. Basically they had the parts for at least a couple months, never calling me. I called a couple of times and was told the parts hadn’t come in yet. They are also refusing to do all of the warranty work, saying they are only going to do part of it. As of now I’m waiting for the call, that the parts for a second time have arrived.

My experience with the service department at McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence is always excellent. Paul is awesome as a service writer and he always keeps me informed about the status of my vehicle. As part of my last oil change and tire rotation appointment, they provided me with an video inspection of my 2018 Nissan Altima SR. Deandre, the gentleman who performed the video walk around, did an amazing job of showing me the critical areas of my vehicle and the condition these were in. I’m a technologist and have been in customer service for 30+ years so this video really sold me that McCarthy Nissan cares about their customers. Thank you for proving excellent customer service!

Service was done in a timely manner. All personnel were courteous and friendly. Needed to leave car for 30,000 mile maintenance. I didn’t have a ride so they got me a Lift pickup. I would definitely recommend. Oh! The car wash was great!

Staff was very friendly. I will say that my car was returned to me with a piece on top of the windshield completely bent and raised up at a 90 degree angle. I walked back in and a service member came out, tried to put it back in place unsuccessfully. He contacted a manager who came out, also unsuccessful at fixing. Manager taped it down with what appeared to be painters tape, said that their car wash must have lifted the piece up. Said they have ordered a replacement and will call me when it arrives to fix it. Tape came off on the drive home. Awaiting call back for them to fix the piece, hopefully of which will be 100% free as the car was not brought in the way it was returned to me. I will update my stars once the car is fixed. Service was efficient and friendly however :)

I had a fantastic customer service experience with McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence. They were very responsive and communicated the issues with my truck to me in a way that I could easily understand. I was provided with options that saved me time and money, as well as peace of mind that my Frontier was well maintained. I was especially impressed with the I-service that allowed the shop to send me video of the issues they found. McCarthy Nissan of Lawrence established a great deal of trust with me, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I will be going to them for all of my future car maintenance needs.

I had an issue with an item that was installed aftermarket that seemed to be drawing on my battery. The company wouldn’t replace it until I could prove that the draw wasn’t coming from my car. I live in KC but the soonest appointment I could find in KC was 2 weeks out. McCarthy. Nissan Lawrence got me in the next day, did the diagnostic test for me.

Weird interaction where I asked if theyd match a price on an offer from the topeka Nissan dealership for a synthetic oil change, tire rotate and inspection and was told they would match the price, but confirmed as I was setting up the appointment that it would only cover an oil change. The price for the special was $0.04 more than their regular synthetic oil change price...was just an annoying waste of time.

I went in and had a key fob programmed that I had ordered and purchased there at your business. It was a great experience all around. Clean work area, I was told it would take an hour and it took 30-45 minutes and they rinsed off my car!! I’ll be back for sure.

I made an appt to get my oil changed and a wheel alignment. When I got there I told the service guy that I was there for an oil change and alignment. I also commented that I wanted front windshield wipers and he said ok and sent me inside to wait.My appt was for 10:30. I waited for 2 hours for the car to be fixed and when they told me it was ready they didn’t do the alignment. They said we thought you wanted us to check alignment. I said no I asked for an oil change and an alignment. I waited almost another hour for the alignment to be done. I asked for a discount for having to wait so long and they made an excuse about the oil plug seizing up and it took longer. No discount or apology for their mistakeI won’t be using McCarthy Nissan in the future. If my husband had brought my car in this would never have happened. I also got estimates for brakes and. Cv axle and boot. Their prices are outrageous and I feel that I was taken advantage of this because I am a woman. I’ve been doing business with Briggs since 2011. I had my car looked at by another repair shop and he said the factory didn’t have the part you said I needed. And it has a lifetime guarantee that I was not told about by McCarthy. I will get my car serviced by a company that I can trust.

Quality of vacuuming was pretty low. We were told we could bring it back but “the vacuum guy” leaves at 5p .... We work until 5p... and apparently they can’t have someone else vacuum, it’s GOTTA BE THE “VACCUUM GUY”!!

McCarthy auto group cant seem to recognize a safety issue when a customer comes in with a serious concern about their vehicle so I think people should know this before they decide to bring their vehicle that they depend on for themselves and the family and loved ones that they may have in that vehicle. McCarthy auto group is not suitable to recognize a problem or to comprehend a customers concern. McCarthy auto group is very unprofessional in customer service I would not recommend anyone to go to this establishment. I brought my vehicle to them thinking nissan dealership, should know more about a nissan car than any other shop well I had a bad bearing made a faint noise hard to locate but as a driver of my own vehicle I know how it feels and sounds, and I know enough about the mechanics of a vehicle to know the area and even the part to focus my attention onto ,I explained every small detail from the start of the first noise noise, they had my car up on the lift 3 times still not concentrating at the issue, when you hear the faintest odd noise your car makes that is unusual they say to take it to a service center to have checked out cause it can be something serious so when they say serious, it can be life threatening, a wheel bearing is a part of the suspension that when it starts going bad the sounds it makes can sound similar to (first stage)worn breaks a chirping sound or (second stage)thumping sound similar to your tires hitting the road then the final stage of its life grinding rumbling sound which at this stage can fail at any second , when this bearing starts to go bad it can freeze up instantly stopping the wheel from turning or to fall off completely and cause a serious wreck ,a friend of mine died from wheel bearing that failed froze up on the highway stopping the wheel from turning which put exreame pressure on it causing it to fold under the vehicle that put the vehicle into a violent roll.The staff at McCarthy Nissan does not recognize this danger even when it is explained to them from a concerned customer, I am shocked and disappointed on how unaware they are when it comes to safety. So I decided that I am not allowing my vehicle to be driven on any road till it is repaired and I am going to set out to find another dealership or shop that that has the professionaly trained staff that puts their customers saftey first, I am going to start with other nissan dealerships so read the reviews hopefully you will be reading a good review that i have wrote, and wont have to go through what I went through, saftey of a others is a value I think everyone should embrace.. stay safe

Charge lite came on at night on my 20+ year-old car, I made an appointment online for next morning, Al in service listened to my story, got the mechanic on the car, got the problem diagnosed and alternator replaced. I was quoted a price to get some work done but then there was a miscommunication when it came time to pay for the work. It turns out my initial quote was perhaps lower than it should have been. They went ahead and honored the lower price was quoted. They were all very professional throughout the process. I would recommend them if you need service in the Lawrence area.

As a dealership not a fan of McCarthy. However these service guys and girls were from Briggs and have been professional and fairly quick with my vehicles. I typically dont like dealer service but my car is under warranty. They learned my name and had a shuttle service so I did not need to miss work. I would not hesitate to get your Nissan serviced here even with the name change.

Pretty poor experience. Took a week to fix a catalytic converters and forgot to change my serpentine belt. Extremely high hourly rate. The mechanics are good guys, but this dealership is lookin to rip you off.
