I visit Las Vegas frequently. On my last few trips, I have requested mobility scooters so that I can be a little more adventurous. I cannot do a lot of walking, so the scooters are the perfect companion!! I have been 100% pleased with the service that I received from Desert medical. The equipment has been in top-notch condition and the young lady that I spoke with by the name of Angela assisting me with all of my questions and she always the confirms my reservation and makes sure that my scooters are available when I arrive. My casino host was of no assistance AT ALL, so I now call Desert Medical directly and I have not had any problems. I highly recommend using Desert Medical for scooters!! Don’t depend on your Casino Host, make your reservation in advance by calling Angela or reserving online. Definitely 5-Star service!!

I WAS GOING TO LAS VEGAS SO I ORDED A WHEEL CHAIR FROM DESERT MEDICAL. IT WAS SO EASY AND VERY NICE ON PHONE, SHE SAID CHAIR WOULD BE AT BELL DESK WHEN I ARRIVED. WHEN I GOT THERE CHAIR WAS THERE, NICE CLEAN VERY HAPPY WITH IT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Scam artists! I rented a cart for initially for 2 days, but due to problems on the trip I needed to return the cart a day early. They happily took the cart back to re-rent to the next person but kept my money for the 2 days. I called to dispute and they said too bad, there are no refunds. They also refused to give me a receipt showing proof of return so all I could do was take a picture of their return roster.

SCOOTER RENTERS BEWARE - The last time we stayed at Ceasars Palace, we rented a mobiity scooter from their bell desk. When I called the bell desk to rent a scooter for our arrival on April 25th I was told they only had a limited quantity and it was first come first serve and it might be best if I rented one from a private company. They recommended Desert Medical and gave me their telephone number. Desert Medical quoted me $50 a day, plus $65 to deliver the scooter on a Sunday. I called 2 other companies who gave me a lower price, but both said that Ceasars would often not allow them to deliver their scooters, so I rented it from Desert Medical. At that time they told me that all of their scooters had a universal key and that we should keep the scooter in our room at night. The scooter they provided was pretty beat up with one broken knob and it often did not stop when it should have. In the past, we had always left the scooter in the hallway as it is impossible for one person to hold the door open and drive the scooter into the room; it is a 2 person job. When the bellman brought up our bags he said we could park it down the hall where there was an electrical outlet so we could chrage it. We did this and between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am, someone came up to the 58th floor at Ceasars and stole it. Hotel security did nothing to help us, only to say we needed to call the police department. When I called Desert Medical they basically said I told you so and charged $900 to our credit card and sent out another scooter, which we put in the room at night until we left. I wonder where all of those stolen scooters end up.

Im from Denver and went to Vegas , I stayed at the Bally,s casino. I rented a cooler for three days. The guy told I have to sign this paper stating if it gets damaged , stolen I would have to pay for the scooter, and proceeded to tell me thT they get stolen alot. I said Ill keep the key on me if I have to leave it. He that dont matter cuz they do something to back wheels and just walk it away. I reported it to security . Which they acted like its an everyday acurrance . I called Desert , I had to pay $900 for the scooter. Beware...scam I think if they know there so easy to stolen, why not fix it instead of charging the customer, have some kind insurance on it. Some people just cant fork out that much money. Put a GPS on seems weird . Rented another one, someone took the key.

This place has the friendliest staff!!!Ang helped me get things in order for my trip when I had no clue what to do. Her knowledge of all the products in insane! Definitely 5 star service. No wonder why they are the leaders in Vegas!

ABSOLUTELY horrifying customer service! I got two scooters, one malfunctioned about 2 miles away and BRIAN told me it was my fault the scooter did not work! Nothing was done. No refund. No customer service at all. Angela has no backbone, she let Brian take over the call and then hang up on me. We disputed the transaction and got our money back, but I’ve never experienced this type of customer service ever in my life! And it’s my birthday 😒 do NOT get a mobility scooter from these scammers! They’ve been saying for 2 YEARS there was no record of the call. Lol look at previous reviews . Desert Medical should be embarrassed by their services .

Thank you. I cant say enough about Marie Townsend and the entire staff at Desert Medical Equipment.I will definitely use them the next time Im in Vegas. Their customers service went above and beyond. This is a company that take great care of their customers, and will stand behind their commitments. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give this place a 0 I would. I should have checked their BBB rating prior to renting from them, they have an F and I can definitely see why. We rented a scooter for my mom from 12/30-1/6. The first day the scooter malfunctioned and my mom had to be pushed through Circus Circus and through the parking lot. We contacted this company and were told we would receive a call back for 3 consecutive days without receiving a response. One of the times we called, we spoke with Angela (COO of the company) and she said she would call us back and never did. After calling them several times, we were finally told that we could take the scooter to the front desk and exchange it. Equipment malfunction is not uncommon but theres no excuse for poor customer service. There were no attempts to troubleshoot the scooter, no return calls, and my mom was not able to enjoy her trip for days because of this. Shame on Angela for her poor leadership and lack of customer service skills. I will never utilize them again and will discourage other owners at our resort.

Wow! What amazing customer service! Pulled parts off there own scooter to get us up and going while on vacation. Everyone I met there was extremely friendly and super helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of medical supplies. Thanks again for the help!

This place gave false information and was unable to use scooters rented for my mother and aunts all handicapped! This place should be ashamed for taking advantage of the elderly handicapped!!!! Had rented for 3 day use and was never able to use and charged over $500. Not recommended at all

Called Desert Medical Equipment late at night after arriving to :Las Vegas. The airline had damaged my power chair. I rented a power chair from them which arrived in under an hour at 10:30pm. They took it on themselves to reach out to the airline for payment, and refunded my credit card. The also picked up and repaired my broken wheelchair. I was impressed.

Rented mobility scooter from Paris Hotel. After less than 3 hrs with scooter showing fully charged, battery died. Called desert medical and was told by both Carla and supervisor Angela, no one availalable for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs so just charge it. I was at the MGM.My husband walked back to get me the charging cord.I told them that was not acceptable!! Over an hour later William brought me a different scooter.I dont think telling a client to spend hours of their first day on vacation is even slightly acceptable customer service!

I was in Vegas for the weekend and managed to leave my CPAP hose at home. I called desert medical and they put a hose aside for me. They also have delivery, but I was close by so I just took a taxi. They were wonderful! Turns out the also rent the CPAP equipment if I were ever to have a malfunction while in town, or decide I dont want to bring my machine with me. Thank you again for such great service!!

My portable nebulizer pump quit while on vacation. Called and spoke with Angela, she had a pump in stock and was able to get it later that day.

The lady answering the phone first off just said yes we have what you need. Didn’t even try to verify then said I needed to bring an entire unit to them so they could charge me to asses the issue.I said no I need batteries for a scooter and if they wanted to make a sale of the batteries then I would come get them. They hung up on me.Garbage customer service

Customer service is the worst, they do not care about the customer satisfaction and also very rude. On my last two trips to Las Vegas I rented a power wheelchair from this place. The battery was charged when I got the chair and in a couple of hours the battery would drain, one of the times I was by myself when the chair died on me. I’m going back to Vegas soon and i called to rent a chair again and was denied a chair, she said it was because i had complained several times.
