Wow!! My mind is blown! Consider this: spending around $140k on a vehicle, after a few months the engine needs to be replaced (which they did), than the ac wont work and after that constant repairs and droping of the vehicle to their shop for the last few years. The latest ordeal: recently replaced by them house batteries two of them, go bad, I paid $2700 for them (it includes the five minutes that takes to replace them) . After a few months, they go bad again. They will not cover the warranty on them because they say that the van wasnt plugged in. Now I have to purchase them online for roughly $300 (yeah huge price difference right?) I thought they would cover them since the batteries have a five year warranty, instead they want to charge another $2700 lol. Guys with the amount of money that has been spent on this vehicle, the headaches of always something going wrong with it, the fact that we never asked questions and trusted you with what youve been suggesting and charged, dont you think that a good customer service practice would of been to have these two batteries replaced for free?? Specifically when they were under warranty and even if they wouldnt be, Isnt there a sense of customer service specially from the owner that could possibly trickle down to the managers and employees?? This is beyond my comprehension, if you are charging those prices at least throw in some... I mean just some customer service with it. As you can tell am not very pleased with this whole situation so I would suggest to not bother replying to this with some cheesy comment trying to show viewers that you may care, it just wont make sense since caring from your outfit hasnt been a priority towards us.

Ive got a 2017 Thor Vegas that was having some issues. I made an appointment and took it into Van City RV and was pleasantly surprised with the service provided. My RV had been sitting in the Mojave desert for 4 years and needed to be checked over thoroughly. They offer an Annual Service that addresses and checks all the main components. Mike, the service guy was able to fix the little issues that were going on and verify all the remaining systems were working properly. The charges were exactly what was quoted and they were finished in a day. I highly recommend Van City RV for your RV service needs. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Ill definitely be back!

The day before we were to leave to California, I received a recall notice for the Onan generator on our LTV Unity. Since we were going through Nevada, I called Van City RV in Las Vegas. I talked to Romeo at Van City and he fit me in with an appointment. When we got to Van City, we were the first ones on the service list. Allen did the recall work and in no time, we were on our way to California. I am really pleased with Van City RV in Las Vegas and Van City RV in Colorado Springs, Colorado where we bought our Unity. Thanks, guys, for great service.

For Class B RV service and repairs, Van City RV Las Vegas is the place to go.We have been RVing in 2 different Class B RV’s. Our first one was the Roadtrek, which we owned for 10 years. For the first few years, when we needed repairs, we were often frustrated and seldom satisfied with the repairs. That’s until we found Van City RV Las Vegas. They know their Class B rigs and how to service them properly! The whole team at Van City is a class act. From the first phone call, to the walk through, to figuring out the issues, to the estimate, to the final walk through when they hand you back your rig, their professionalism is impressive. They are very thorough and it is obvious that they love their job. It’s our second year now with our Leisure Van and after a mishap with the black water tank, we chose to travel 6 hours from home to have the damage fixed at Van City. And again we are more than 100% satisfied. From Rose who handled my first call and explained exactly what they would need to write the estimate, to Romeo who provided a detailed estimate and promptly replied all our emails, and to Allen, our new hero, who did the repair thoughtfully and thoroughly, saving us time and money. Van City RV Las Vegas: you rock!!!

Had another great experience with the service department. Special thanks to Romeo, Allen and Rose. During the past few weeks our RV required some unexpected repairs and the service department was able to schedule two last minute appointments. The required work was done on schedule and Allen even took the time to review what they did to make sure I was happy. Thanks everyone for making a stressful situation much easier.

Super impressed with the staff a Van City in Las Vegas. I was driving through Las Vegas with multiple issues with my Leisure Luxuary Van. I called them in the morning, and they were able to service my RV right away. Romeo & Rose in the front office work were incredibly nice. They spoiled my German Shepherd with treats & love.Alan & Jame’s in service got to work on my RV immediately. They were able to save me a few bucks on the repair, which I was not expecting. They did an exceptional job with the repairs.I wish I didn’t have to wear a face mask because I wanted them to see that I was smiling ear-to-ear.Now, I’m getting back on the road to Colorado with happily pleasant thoughts of the fabulous staff at Van City of Las Vegas.

We had our 2021 Dynamax Isata 3 24FWM serviced at Van City RV in March 2021. The service scheduling was easy and quick. The work was completed quickly and efficiently by the service technician Allan. We had the Motorhome back the next day in great condition. The sales people are professional, not pushy and work with you to help determine the exact type of motorhome fits your individual needs. They do not try to make the decisions for you. We love visiting Van City and talking to the sales and service staff. Straight talk and Great service. What else could you want from a Recreational Vehicle company?

What an experience! We purchased our Pleasure-Way Plateau FL from Van City Las Vegas in June and took delivery this week. Every step of the way we were treated like old friends! Mark, our salesman was so knowledgeable without being pushy. Steve, in finance, went above and beyond to make our purchase easy, even though we are from out of state. And there is NO ONE who knows more about the workings of Class B vans than Ryan! He spent two full days answering questions and teaching us the ins and outs. Van City arranged for us to stay at the beautiful Oasis RV park so we could build our confidence. The customer service at Van City Las Vegas is superior. We will plan on making our way back to Vegas for services - These are the people I WANT taking care of me and our beautiful van!

Buyer Beware! The true colors of this business has shown itself to us during these difficult times of Covid. We signed a contract to build a Dynamax back in February, only to watch the world change in the following weeks. This led to two challenges: 1) our employment/income was possibly in jeopardy and 2) with the Forest River plant shut down, there was, in our opinion, little to no chance of delivery this year in which to use the RV.Upon signing the contact we asked, “so what happens to our $10,000 deposit if for some crazy reason we would cancel this order?” We got the political, evasive, non-answer of “oh, that has never happened, and even it does, we’ll work it out…”. We left that non-answer slide because at the time we could not envision a scenario where we would cancel the contract. We notified Van City ~3 weeks after our contract signing that we wanted to cancel the order, in which they said it was too late because Forest River already assigned a VIN number to the build (conveniently just days prior to our notice). According to them, an assigned VIN meant they were committed to the build. We highly doubted that the Freightliner chassis ever left the lot and construction had begun, but that was their “story” and justification for not refunding our deposit. There were many other evasive, side-talking, non-answer communications from this company which are too lengthy to convey here that left us wondering why we ever decided to do business with them. The contract states the deposit may be kept for liquidated damages. I’m not a lawyer, but liquidated damages is basically a legal term that represents the estimate of future actual cost of damages. In the end, this company kept every penny of our $10,000 deposit for “liquidated damages” which we felt was unethical and unfair. There was no way, in our opinion, they incurred $10,000 of costs by pushing a purchase and build contract plus some trade-in transactions through their back-office. We offered $2-3,000 as a fair compromise, but it was turned down.Despite this bad experience, we ultimately decided to purchase an already built Dynamax from another dealership (at a much better price!) so we could enjoy the outdoors during this crazy summer and year. We’ll be writing a glowing, positive review for that dealership because they handled a few transaction challenges professionally, ethically and honestly. That is all you can ask for.In summary, you can always tell a company’s true colors when things go wrong. As you have read, we did not have a good experience with Van City and would not recommend them to friends, family or frankly anyone. Fortunately, we all get to choose who we patronize and give our hard earned money to. Good luck if you choose to do business here.

I have waited weeks before posting this review, because I wanted to experience the post-sale stuff as well as what it was like to buy my camper there. My conclusion: this has been a terrific place to do business. The sales side (Nanci) was relaxed and RV-savvy, with no pressure, and the finance guy landed us a better deal than I could get on my own through banks and credit unions. And for a couple of small issues weve needed to have addressed, the service department has stepped up fully. I have great confidence in this dealership, both in sales, financing and follow up service issues. No, I dont work here nor have family that does. Im simply a happy customer.

I felt like the dealer was very patient and polite, and very informative considering I dont know much about RVs. On the phone the tech tried to sell me on the idea of using AGP batteries. What he never said to me was, I have never installed a set before or I am unable or unwilling to do that. That would have been the trustworthy thing to have said, so that we would not have driven the 5 hours out, to have him again try to sell us on using AGMsWhen I found out the real fact of the matter, I turned the truck around and drove the 5 hours home.Despite all the great things I know about Wagonwheel RV, It left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I am new to the RV world, but not new to good customer service - and what it should look like. My wife and I looked at several options before opting to purchase a Class B Motorhome. As important as it was in selecting the right RV for our purposes, it was equally important in choosing a responsible dealer - a dealer who actually saw the significance in taking care of the customer and to dutifully provide the service all dealers typically promise. Our purchase did come with a few unforeseen hiccups - however the important point to make here is that Van City (and most notably the work of General Manager John Chelist and service technician Ryan Fairman) went above and beyond to correct the issues to ensure our total satisfaction. Because of their efforts, I can make without hesitation a 5 star recommendation of Van City Las Vegas! They made it apparent to us that they stand behind the products they sell. Good job.

Friendly enough. I will say they paid for a new fridge after the sale which they didnt HAVE to do. (I had to install it) However they also tried to convince me it was fine when I was suspicious. They also replaced the tires and coach batteries with the cheapest thing they could possibly find, before the sale. The batteries they installed were NOT deep cycles. Frustrating. Theyre OK as far a dealers go. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND do NOT accept their answers without doing MORE homework!

Had a bad experience trying to purchase a Leisure Travel Van Unity 24 MB from this dealership. Invoice on these vehicles with a good amount of options is around $110,000.00 and MSRP is around $145000.00 I know this because I have a friend in the business. If you dont believe me ask them to show you the dealer invoice. The best deal they offered me was around $135000.00. Why should I let these guys make over $20,000.00 on my purchase? There are other competitive brands on the market with similar chassis and are a much better deal. And dont believe all the Leisure Travel Van quality hype, its just like any other RV with its problems, just ask anyone who bought an older 24MB with the power Murphy Bed(they all broke which is why they are manual now). As for Wagon Trail RV itself I definitely did not like the condescending attitude of theyre sales manager John Chelist and the Owner Phil( who happened to be there) . Both seemed very rude and egotistical, like bad car salesman. Stay away from this place and do business elsewhere.
