Pro Cyclery is outstanding in every regard. Like many, I was tempted by online bike dealers. I recently purchased a new road bike from Pro Cyclery and Im so glad I bought local. After test riding several models, the staff helped me make the best choice for me. I was able to purchase a much better bike than what I found online. Expert fitting and setup ensured a great ride. My first bad review to some one BUT, I took my sons bike there a month ago for a bike service (general check over) they said fine and went over the counter to see that they have a card board post showing a price over $100 for a tune up bike service.. I asked if hey had a quicker more affordable bike service ... the answer was no then a second employee suddenly came to indicate me that my bike looked like crashed from the front (what was a lye the bike has never been in an accident; he just look at it for a second) and that they were very sorry for not been able to service it at all!My husband was upset but understood me for not falling for the Summerlin OVER PRICE $$$.. we took the bike to a shop at the East side of Las Vegas..they gave us an excellent bike check up for $35.It is up to you what you want to pay.. just advising.

Not only did he take care of our needs but went above and beyond to ensure that the bikes were safe for the kids, taking care of a handlebar and brake issue that could have resulted in injury. Pro Cyclery is a top notch bike shop in Las Vegas. I was on a cycling trip in September, and I had a major issue with my front skewer on my Cervelo R5. I could not get my front wheel off and could not bring the bike back with me on the plane. I was able to drop my bike off at Pro Cyclery, and fly back to Austin without a worry. They were honest, trustworthy, and completely fair on pricing. Their customer service was excellent, and they fixed my issue in a timely manner, and did a fantastic job. Run by cyclists for cyclists - Cheri and the team at Pro Cyclery really know their onions!I recently travelled to Vegas from the UK on business for a week and had a free day, being a keen cyclist I wanted to experience cycling in the desert - not something you can do in the UK! After a brief internet search I found Pro Cyclery and contacted them via eMail to ask a few questions about bike availability and cycling in the US. I received a response overnight answering all of my questions and a few more that I hadnt thought of! I exchanged a couple more mails before confirming the booking of a new Wilier Zero 7, sent over my bike fitting details and started to look forward to a day in the saddle in the Nevada desert! When I arrived at the shop I was given a very warm welcome by Cheri and the team, they took plenty of time to talk me through a suggested route that used bus and cycle lanes to get into the desert, and then into the local national park. The Wilier was ready and waiting for me as promised, and had been setup to the same dimensions as my own bikes, so was ready to go. The shop is extremely well stocked with plenty of kit, so if you forget anything there is a fair chance you can buy it there. After an initial wrong turn I followed the suggested route for nearly 75 miles, doing two loops of the Red Rock Scenic route (which is highly recommend). The route is a 13 mile one way road through a national park and costs $3 to get in, you’re greeted with a 4 mile climb of circa 6% average followed by a 9 mile gradual descent (with a few fast sections where it’s easy to exceed 45 mph). Take it easy on the descents as if you go on a weekend you might round a bend to find a car at the side of the road taking in the views! Most of the climbing is long and steady with one or two very short ‘kickers’, so the key is to keep it steady and push a steady cadence. Although I went in the end of Jan when there was snow on the higher ground, the sun is still fierce and the air dry so make sure you bring 2 x bottles and put lip balm on, I didn’t and by the end of the day had very cracked lips. The Wilier rode faultlessly, it’s a real climbers bike so is ideal for the local terrain and is a surefooted descender – despite pushing as hard as I could I never felt like I was close to the edge of its abilities. The lightweight frame responds to an out of the saddle blast with a sprightly surge forward and no sign of any flex from the frame, the Dura-Ace setup was silky-smooth even when changing up under pressure on the climbs, the new Dura-Ace requires only the lightest of persuasion to change gear, and the brake modulation is progressive and predictable - just what you need on the dusty roads.Thank you Cheri & co, my day in the desert was the highlight of my week in Vegas - if I find myself in Vegas again I will be sure to drop in again!

To some it may not be a big deal but for me my stress levels are extremely high right now due to my mom who battling cancer again and this time it’s stage 4 and we have 3 family members that has/had COVID-19. Eric and David are great. Every time I’ve gone in there and dealt with them it has been a good experience. But I’ve had a bad experience every time with Shane. That guy is very rude. I have stopped shopping there because of how they allow their staff to treat customers. A friend of mine and I were out on our lunch break one day and decided to go look at some bike stuff. As we were browsing one of sales person approached us to see if they can help us find something. We kindly replied “we are just looking around” which is what we do to put together a mental shopping list for the future. Then Shane yelled out from around the corner “those guys don’t ever buy anything”. As we get ready to leave the store my friend starts talking shop with Shane and Shane proceeds to trash talk my friends bike. Saying things about his cannondale lefty about how poor the brakes are and how strange it handles. Which would have been fine to get his opinion on it but the way he delivered it almost seems like he was trash talking his bike and my friend took offense on the subject. Prior to buying a bike there. They were very friendly. As soon as the purchase was made their attitude towards us change as if they got what they needed and they were done. It’s truly sad because their is the only Yeti dealer in town and I’ve been thinking about picking one up. Now I’m either going to just order the bike online and save money cutting out the middle man or drive to another state to pick up a bike. I’ve been going to Mcghies, Las Vegas culvert, and giant for bike related purchases now. This store has left me a bad taste in my mouth because of Shane and I’m not going back there anymore. I’ve met a handful of people also who have had similar experiences and it’s crazy how this is how they run their business.

I used to take my bike there and get good results. Until last week, I did not realize they were under new ownership. You can definitely tell that the new owners are riding on the reputation of the old owners. It feels like youre at a car dealership when you take your bike there for repairs. The mechanic actually gave me a dirty look when I approached the repair area and looked around the store for his employee who greeted me. I told him that I needed my rear derailleur adjusted. He said he would be glad to get me up and running, but that all of the mechanics were busy with other bikes. When I told him that I could leave my bike, he put a chain measure on my chain and told me that I needed a new chain, and that it actually cost 15 dollars to install the chain, but since I was buying it from them they would install it free and adjust my derailleur. The next day they call me and tell me that my new chain is installed. They didnt even touch the derailleur, so now Im out $50.00, but supposedly, I have a new chain. I definitely will not go there again.

Went in, had no idea what to ask for or expect other than some bullet points provided by an avid cyclist friend. She recommended this shop. Jayme was helpful, informative, friendly, zero pressure to buy anything. In fact, he said plenty of things like, you dont need to spend that much when youre just starting out, maybe try this one instead, this is all you need. Took the bike out for its maiden voyage and immediately noticed things Jayme had told me like, a stiffer frame helps momentum transfer to the road. Overall, pretty much a perfect experience. Absolutely amazing. I dont know where to begin, but heres the short version: I just had a bike fit from J, the mechanic at Pro Cyclery. Before the bike fit, I simply wasnt comfortable on the bike, and riding was more work than fun. My hands hurt, my butt hurt, and I was slow. After the fit, I feel balanced, comfortable, efficient and fast. And this feeling translated into real numbers: I just added a full 2.4 mph average speed onto my best time on the Anthem loop. I felt THAT good and pedaled THAT much more efficiently. I now feel like the bike and I are two components of one machine. J is part engineer, part artist, and part magician. Here are some details: He devoted a full two hours to measuring, observing, assessing, adjusting, watching... tweaking here and there and going through the process over again to make sure the fit was comprehensive and that every adjustment worked with the others. He adjusted EVERYTHING on the bike -- seat height, tilt, and fore-aft position, handlebar height, stem length, brake position on the bar, bar tilt/rotation -- everything -- and not just once. He ensured that all of the adjustments complemented each other. He tried different seat posts, stems, and stack heights. He didnt pressure me to buy anything, and guaranteed the fit. I was as impressed by his personable disposition and lack of arrogance as I was with his skill and competence. The rest of the staff is just as friendly, personable, and competent. The first time I visited the store, I was warmly greeted and treated like I was a friend, not a sales prospect. I didnt buy anything, but still felt welcome. The second time I visited, I was loaned a seat and told to try as many as it would take to find one that worked, with no pressure to buy. The third time I got a fantastic tune-up and a bike fit at an excellent price, so I know that the stellar customer service isnt just an act.Bottom line: These are wonderful, honest, competent folks who are passionate about cycling.

Absolutely fantastic bike shop- the new location is first rate, as is the staff. They recently helped me with something other shops wanted to charge for- and did it just to help. This is a place where you can trust the folks, and where they are most interested in helping you. I have no connection to Pro Cyclery, but I recommend it like my sister owns it. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I sat inside this shop for 20 minutes (I was the only customer in the shop) and never had 1 person ask if I needed any assistance. Actually it was more like they were avoiding me. After 20 minutes I just left and went to another bike store up the street and had a great experience. I wont be wasting my time in this store again.

Very disappointing and very offended. I went by this place yesterday looking for some stem spacers. In talking with one of the people and trying to explain a little home made thumb measuring, I reached to the back of one of the display bikes near the front door in an attempt to give a bit of a perspective a measurement. This guy pushed my hand aside like as if I was a child reaching for a breakable. I paused in dismay for a second, and then asked this guy Did you just push my hand away as if I was a child? He turned and said yes. I was instantly very put off that an employee would touch me much less push my hand away. He then preceded to try and give and excuse as to why he thought that was appropriate. I gathered my family and we left the store all the while this guy continued to try and excuse away his actions. What a shame, my employees would never do that to an individual/ customer. The best thing this guy could have done was listen to whatever nonsense I was spurting from my lips and then possible help me with my questions. I am guessing my lack of cool guy bike lingo may have been a reason he was not understanding my explanation. This store is very expensive in terms of cycling equipment, knowing this my intention was to pay whatever the cost as I figured these were the guys that knew how to solve my issue with raising my stem height. Sadly I shall never step foot in this store again and I shall never utter the name of the store to anyone even when talking bikes with my fellow riders. Very poor customer service.

I was in Las Vegas for a few days and wanted to ride the Red Rock scenic loop. Pro Cyclery delivered a very nice road bike to my hotel according to my specifications (pedals, garmin mount, etc), did a basic fitting in the hotel lobby and recommended cycling routes. All in all, perfect service, perfect bike and perfect ride!

How great that this small business is helping our local economy. How terrible a brat would complain publicly about a store where people are just trying to make a living selling things at a price that keeps the lights on.

Adding to my brothers earlier post, the staff was terrific for our MS Ride in November. I ended up with the wrong set of pedals for my shoes. (Which was completely my fault.) The staff and another volunteer went back to the bike shop to get the pedals I needed and met me out on the course to switch them out. And since they were at the event, they offered to take our bikes back to the shop after the ride so we didnt have to find a cab. Great staff and great service! In RE: The guy riding in the jean shorts... I didnt see this with my own eyes, but I heard he took all his power bars, gels, shots, etc. and even his lunch and gave it out to all the homeless people on the strip. What a guy!
