Wow came in for an oil change and a fix on my windshield wiper. Made an appointment a week ago showed up at 9am and sitting here now at 12. At least I have time to write my first review ever. Sad to see a brand like Pep boys fall so low I guess these will all be closed soon with this level of service. 1921 to 2021 RIP it was good when it lasted

Amazing staff... Brandon and Diane at Pep Boys #868 are awesome fixed my car in no time and had me back on the road..been here twice and was treated like family both times..I work for Lyft and wasnt aware of the discounts but Brandon informed me and added the discounts without me even asking...you dont find too many honest mechanics and this Pep Boys is one..I will definitely come back for all of my automotive need...10 ⭐s

I was very Lucky (just joking) to get a flat tire right near this tire shop and managed to pull in and they tell me they’re not going to help me at all they’re to busy and don’t have any time available to even try to help me , so I guess I wasnt very lucky at all when I got a flat tire near the one place in the world that could help me with it and they wouldn’t. It’s very sad to see how they acted towards me with a flat tire. Just me a single mother and my daughter had to sit out front and change it our selves. Lol then I was also told I couldn’t sit out front of their store changing the tire my self and would need to move my vehicle but we already had the tire off by that point and just stayed in the same spot to finish. Then after getting the spare on we found out it was also flat and they again wouldn’t help me put air in it with their machine or do anything to help us so we were left stranded. I’m very disappointed and will never come to this location or any other pep boys locations again for anything because they refused to help someone with something so small and didn’t take but a few min. You know it’s really sad because all I was asking for was a little help , just something and they didn’t care at all.

I had scheduled an appointment yesterday for 930 today but was told that it may be an hour maybe 2 before they could get to my car. I was told they had only 1 tech. I didnt fuss but just decided to go elsewhere. My suggestion would be to improve the online system or something. If 930 slot was not available then it should not have allowed me to schedule the appt. It was a waste of time and gas. I am only posting this so perhaps management can look into this and make changes. Most people schedule appointments for certain times. The gentleman Ian said that the system gets me in the day. And there was no apology or understanding. A call should have been made telling me that time is not available. The point of the schedule is to reserve a time so I can do other things. What is the point of the online scheduling if I am just going to come drop off my car and wait hrs to be seen? Where is the logic in that? Perhaps because it was a free service maybe it didnt matter? I have spent money on other repairs at other PepBoys. I likely will not bring any business to this location.

I’m sorry to say I did not have a great experience at this location. After reading all the great reviews, I was sure I would also have a positive experience.. I went there for a free AC check. my air was coming out ice cold on the passenger side but about one half what it should be for the drivers side. I was told by Ian that they will let me know before they do anything that cost money. . I waited patiently in the waiting area. Ian did call up to the desk and mentioned it might be the actuator ,but we are still checking it out. After a few minutes, Brandon came in and said it’s the condenser. The estimate was quite high, over $1000.. I figured I’d get another opinion elsewhere.; I asked for my key and Brandon says you owe me $60. Apparently they put dye in the lines to check for a leak and by doing so it renders the AC completely not working. So now I have no air at all and he wants $60 from me. I told him I don’t feel I should be charged.because I was never informed about what the test would do to my AC.or about any charge. He then said fine, you don’t owe me anything and don’t come back. I was completely taken aback so I asked him what did you say to me..he said again , I said don’t come back.. I was never rude to him but he sure was to me.

My wife and I are extremely happy with every part of our experience at this location. Brandon, the manager was incredibly helpful, friendly, and transparent when it came to fixing a difficult air conditioning leak on our car. He searched high and low and ultimately went out of his way to find a discontinued part that was very difficult to find. In short, he’s just a stand up dude you can trust. I will be returning for any future repairs without a doubt.

Pep Boys on North Rancho Dr Las Vegas Nevada was fantastic. They dont have parts,oil, or tools of any kind to purchase but the service repair and oil change part is open. But they can supply for your oil change oil for your vehicle for a oil change service. Phil at the service counter was nice and helpful for my oil change. I purchased my oil and filter at OReilly auto parts. And Pep Boys changed my oil and filter out for $ 22.00. Thats a good deal.

By far customer service outstanding!! Went in for an oil change very fast and friendly but prior to that visit I had taken my car in for a lyft inspection which did not pass due to a dent in my left fender. Brandon went above and beyond first with trying to help me search for touch up paint then taking it upon himself to find me a fender and ordered it for me made me feel like he really cared. Best customer service no doubt. Its reassuring when you can find a mechanic that you can trust and know your in good hands. Thanks again Brandon for your outstanding service.

Wow....worked with Robert on my car inspection to set up the appointment. Very helpful and understanding. When I went in Robert was off and I worked with Brandon, also very helpful and understand. Did not actually charge me the inspection fee since it was a quick look of the car which was amazing. Thanks guys!

Had to have 4 new tires I ordered online put on my SUV. The wait time was long (1.5 hours) to install them even with a call ahead. The sensor light came on shortly after I drove off. Took it back 2 days later, the manager Brandon was very helpful in finding the cause and looking up how to reset it. The fact I was able to bring it back and even though they couldnt find the answer, they were honest and helpful in pointing me in the right direction. Reasonably priced as well.

I sell parts to Every shop in town and this is who I chose to do repairs and buy tires on my personal vehicle. Honest, Professional, More than qualified, Friendly and Thorough! They not only installed my Awesome new tires, they checked over Everything and explained codes I didnt know were there and what I Needed to repair and why. Brandon’s integrity is without question. From the moment I first called these guys to see if they could look at my car, I knew I was going to have a good experience.I had recently taken my Jeep to another pepboys in Henderson and that was a mistake!! I was completely overcharged for the smallest fix (which I told them what was wrong with my car as it had happened before and they still tried to ignore me). After getting my car back and being overcharged at this location, it still wasnt running right, and thats when I called the Pep Boys location at 4141Rancho Dr.Brandon (the manager) and his team were able to get me in the same day I called and listened to what I had to say. After looking at the work the other location had done Brandon himself walked me through the work the other location had done, and helped me understand everything I needed to know! Something the other location also didnt bother to do. After taking my car back to the original location I was prepared to get fixed what should have been taken care of in the first place.When it time to get a simple oil change I knew I had to go back and see Brandon and his team, and Im glad I did. He recognized me (and my car lol) and asked me how things had gone after I saw him last. He reassured me that if I ever needed anything for my car to go see him and he would take care of me. The BEST customer service and someone who will listen to your concerns!!Point blank, if you ever need anything for your car go to this location and speak to Brandon. Never going to another location again!

The first and last time I will attempt to do business with their service department. Brandon, Store Manager-Service, didnt attempt to provide me with any quality service whatsoever. After sitting and waiting at the service counter for a minute, Brandon comes to the counter as if hes ready to do work, but its all a ploy. This joker was incapable of doing what 2 other Pep Boys service departments could. Using the same information I provided Brandon, the Pep Boys on Flamingo & Jones and the Pep Boys on S. Eastern have been able to service the vehicle without incident. Brandon on the other hand, wanted to have me to jump through hoops. I confirmed with another Pep Boys that as long as I had the correct Purchase Order Request Form, and the car is within 200 miles of the mileage due for the next oil change (which it was), Pep Boys can service the vehicle. Brandon on the other wanted something else. Furthermore, somehow not having this paperwork was directly correlated with his inability to tell me how long the job would take to complete. Go-figure, a Store Manager of Service who cant tell me how long I should expect to wait for an oil change (there were no cars in the bays of the service area). Im assuming as the Store Manager for Service he knew exactly what he was doing, and rather than service, he shows a propensity to hinder Pep Boys customers. I would expect better from a Store Manager. Shout out to Danny (Store Manager - Service, Flamingo & Joned) who did the job a store manager at another location didnt want to do or proved himself incapable of doing. Thank you, Brandon for the inconvenience of having to drive from N. Rancho to Flamingo & Jones to be helped by another Pep Boys. Im certain this is (not) what Pep Boys recruited, hired, or promoted you for. Wrongfully judging a book by its cover has earned you and the location you represent a bad google review. Job well done!

I went in to get my air conditioning evaluation for free . The service manager Brandon Lamb performed this evaluation. He also did a electrical analysis as well . After his review ( partnered with a women/ who looks even more Sketchy) he concludes that my a/c module is not responding and needs to be replaced . However , quickly then said they can not find these replacement parts . He then took me to over look his findings and implied that he will add water to my radiator liquid housing (because he found a leak in radiator) .After attempting to leave the shop I noticed my check light engine was on , when I turned the a/c on ( because he recharged it ) my car would not stay on past 30 seconds and was shaking bad. When turning a/c off it appeared fine it wasn’t till I started to drive off when I noticed that my car would not accelerate past 15 mph !!! A simple a/c had now arose to check light engine sign , car powering off , and acceleration / transmission issues . After Brandon became upset because of my frustration he immediately tried to brush me off . Telling me I need to get transmission work done because the module is not responding for power to accelerate. Not only is the a/c module not responding now it’s my module for transmission signals ?This was a complete mess/ disaster. If you have a used car they will try and blame every following issue on that fact . I spoke with the consumers relations department at corporate which then got me in contact with the service area director . At this point they are still not trying to take responsibility using words like “if “ it was pepboys that caused issue they will stand behind the repairs .The BUTTON line is that my car was driving PERFECTLY fine until after Brandon Lamb touched it . I did not have any check engine lights , and had recently passed the smog check . My car could accelerate with no issues at all . To be treated less than right in a situation I was wronged in shows injustice ethics on the whole pepboys company . This is my community if I am not treated fairly here where else can I go to find a just living .I am praying that they take accountability and just simply repair what they broke so we can all go back to our normal lives. It’s already enough with COVID-19 and job loss do we need to have the burden of being cheated !!!

Needed a A/C Service to my 2015 Altima find on the internet that Pep Boys doing service for $39.95. Made appointment and in the end of the day I got a bill for $55.14. Instead of service the run a system leak evaluation for $48.09. I told the technician, Brandon that my A/C start to cool after half a mile. After 4 hours I got a call that the system is fine, no leeks but they offer me to add Freon for $205. Since I knew the A/C steel cooling, I refused there offer. On my way home I noticed that the A/C doesn’t Cool at all and they amply the all Freon. I am a senior citizen and driving for two days with no A/C. They got a working system and got back not working system. Be carful

Brought my girlfriend today to get a part on her car removed and replaced. She purchased the part. This store quoted her double of what the other pep boys location has quoted her for labor. Be very careful with this Rancho location.EDIT: questioned the price difference and was informed initial quoted price was for a similar but different part. Labor charged was correct

My experience was Great based on the customer service I received from the young man named Chris who works there. He worked diligently in helping me in reference to my battery. Could not find receipt to warranty out my bad battery nor could not find in system so he he assisted me in obtaining a great deal on a new battery. Everyone else I dealt with there did not put forth the same effort as this young man did. Chris gave excellent customer service and we need more workers like that. This store should recognize him for that because he is the reason Im writing a great review. Kudos Boo!!

This Pep Boys is so awesome. I took my car in with a whole host of problems, thinking it was just the wheel bearing but it was that PLUS like a million other things. Everyone that works there provided the most amazing customer service, they kept my car overnight and fixed EVERYTHING for me. My car is no longer making any noise and I feel 100% safe to go like anywhere with my baby in the car and its such an amazing feeling.

I would give this location 0 stars if I could. I bought tires a few years ago from them and was promised a rebate, but then after paying for the tires I was informed that the rebate actually didnt apply. Then on Friday, I tried to get a flat tire fixed after paying for the service back when I bought tires and was told that since my tires are 4 years old they are no longer able to service them due to a new policy. After picking up my car I was able to take my tire to a different tire company and get it fixed in minutes with no questions asked. Nothing but a constant headache from Pep Boys. Will never be back. They are a shady company scamming people out of services they paid for because of new policy.

Mike, Joey, John and (I think?) Eddie, or if I have that wrong than the crew that closed the store on 2/18 are amazing! I had a last minute tire emergency and every other store had just closed...these guys got me back on the road within 20 minutes and offered amazing customer service while I waited. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable even though I showed up very near closing time. This is actually the second time Pep Boys has saved me (the other time was something with my battery at a store in Florida) and their incredible customer service has convinced me to become a lifelong customer and shop here for all of my car needs! My favorite auto parts store. I blew out a couple tires and Tracy (I believe that was her name, it was a while ago) took great care of me. Had an issue with one of the replacements and the service manager fixed it right away!The parts department is always friendly. I usually order my parts online and pick them up. Had my alternator replaced on my 2006 Mustang. I had called a day earlier and gotten prices for a new & remanufactured alternator as well as labor charges. It turned out that Pep Boys was the least expensive of the 3 or 4 that I had called and gotten quotes from. Also liked the idea that they are a national chain and also gave a lifetime warranty.When I brought my car in with an appointment the next day, I spoke with Joy, a service writer. When she give me a price on what it would be to replace the alternator + labor, it was about $48 more. The price I had been quoted was the takeout price if you purchased just the part. I had brought my notes with me, which was a good thing. They honored the price I was quoted + the labor and also gave me a 10% discount coupon off the labor charge.Joy was very professional and spoke to her manager, Pete Anderson about honoring the quote.Just want to say Thank You to Joy and Pete!

I have been extremely satisfied with my experience at Pep boys. Dustin provides outstanding customer service, and its always a fair deal. I have been to the boys for multiple jobs on my 2002 pt cruiser. They helped resolve my rack and pinion problem, did a brake job, and replaced my radiator. Im a repeat customer to Pep Boys because of their consistent high quality work and the great customer service from Dustin and the gang. Ill continue to use the boys for my routine maintenance and for the tough jobs that I cant tackle on my own. They also are consistent with a ten percent military discount.

Dustin was a dream come true! I feel like this was the first time I felt I could actually trust someone at an auto shop. From our conversation on the phone, to his impeccable etiquette in person, he was wonderful. He went over exactly what would be done to my car and even invited me to watch it all go down from outside the bay.Gary was so thorough in explaining what was an immediate concern with my car, what things might be a problem in the future, and how to properly maintain it all.Im so appreciative for all their honesty and effort! Made an appointment on their website the previous night to have my two front tires replaced. When I showed up for my appointment, I wasn’t even in their system, and they weren’t going to honor the promo code available online. However, the guy that helped me managed to get me a discount anyway, which I greatly appreciated.A couple hours later they called and said my car was ready, but upon my return, I noticed the new tires were on the back. A different guy at the desk tried to explain that they put the new tires on the back, and rotate your old rear tires to the front. However, I specifically got my tires changed due to a bump and slit on my passenger front tire, and the same bump and slit were still there, so someone didn’t do something right. Gotta wait two more hours now for them to fix it. Disappointing.

I normally take my car to a private mechanic but during my recent visit to a local car show I happened to experience some car trouble. All the participants at this show urged me to take it to the Rancho location because of the store managers involvement with local scene. I actually asked several people during the show about where to take it and received the same answer every time. After the show I had it towed to them. WOW!!!, First I was greeted by a real friendly man named Dustin. Just a happy smiley type of guy. My repair took most of the next day but it gave me a chance to get to know these people. Chris my service guy was wonderful and very patient with my hearing (age) issues. Im 70 years old and Chris treated me so kind and warm. They seemed a bit understaffed as Chris was going all over the place, but they still came together to help me out. I got to meet the stores manager Pete and its obvious why his store was recomended he took the time to let my 12 yr old Granddaughter teach him dance moves in front of the stereo department. (Gut wrenching FUNNY). He made sure that everyone was on top of their game and cared about everyone waiting for our cars. He came in and handed everyone some water and introduced himself and asked if we were being treated right. Who really cares these days? Really? He does. Tim and Walt Were very careful with my old car and you could tell they liked what they do. I see a few bad reviews about them. You cant please everyone but they sure try to. You all pleased me by going above and beyond. Please dont change anything. You made me believe that good trusting honest people still care more about the customer than the dollar bill.. THE STAFF HERE LOVE WHAT THEY DO AND IT SHOWS! I lost the serpentine belt on my Status on my way to work. Turns out the bolt holding the A/C compressor snapped (the reason the belt slid off in the first place). This repair would require more time to fix than the store had. It was around 6 pm, there were several cars ahead of mine, and the stored closed at 8 pm. I was late for work, stranded without my car, with no way to leave it overnight for a morning repair. But Dustin at he counter and the Walt the manager, after a brief pow wow, went above and beyond. At 8 pm, after the last car was finished, Dustin and the rest of the staff began (very slowly) closing out the registers, while Walt (very quickly) charged my new compressor, drilled out the broken bolt and replaced my belt. It was 9 pm when Walt finished and Dustin rang up my bill. Thanks guys! YOU REWROTE THE PEP BOY PLAYBOOK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!.

I called the Rancho location and spoke to Brandon, asked if there was any availability for an oil change. He said there is a 40 min wait if I can call back in 30 min to see where theyre at. I called back he said if I can be there soon, I said Ill be there in 15 min. Got there and took care of the car and was out in a little over an hour. Loved the kindness and the quick service. I had a great experience at Pep Boys. The team at this location (Rancho) is very competent and friendly. They confirmed my fears of a dying battery and were able to replace it while I waited. They accommodated my request for an oil change and adjusted the air pressure in my tires. Id definitely drive out of my way to have my car serviced here.
