I’m disabled so I carry a shoulder backpack… It’s to me the same as a purse would be for woman… I’m a really regular customer at 640, I’m there a lot… Yesterday I walked in and this very rude punk of a guy told me leave my bag at the door… Any cash, credit cards and my ID were in my bag, so that wasn’t an option and I was ask to leave… Dude I can’t do anything about you but it would make my day if you lost even 1 customer!!!#rude

We no longer live in Knox and was visiting for a wedding , stopped to get some drinks for the couple,. and horrible decison. Not sure if ownership has changed since our last time in but All the workers seemed completely lost and offered no help. or maybe even high not sure. Store smelled like a smoke shack, and needed a good cleaning and seemed to be under managed. Ended up going to Total Wine it was a bit of a drive , but much much better choice.

I would give it 5 stars for the staff and the reasonable prices, but they have taken ZERO COVID precautions even protecting the staff! Not to mention that on multiple occasions the staff have been allowed to smoke inside the store, which is DISGUSTING! Unfortunately, we are taking our business elsewhere.

Have been here several times. Everyone is very helpful, but no masks. I was in today and overheard a person behind the counter explaining how they had put straight a woman wearing a mask because the sheriffs department said they wouldnt enforce the law. Wont go back. Would not recommend.

Nice people and has about everything you need

This is the kind of place that gives bourbon drinkers a headache. The owner told me I keep my pappy for my judges. Very interesting. Also they tell you they hold things and then when you show up the sell them. Dont waste your time. Go to Christies instead. They are friendly and there is no crazy secondary mark up or games to try and trick you into buying liquor at crazy prices.

Friendly and helpful staff. They offer a reasonably wide selection for the size of the store. Good if looking for semi-standard items. For fancier specialty items, you will be better off at a larger Knoxville store.

Plain and Simple liquor store. Reasonable prices and the vast majority of your mid-tier and bottom shelf brands are available here. They do not specialize in exceptionally top shelf items but that does not present a problem for our purchases.

Great selection of liquors and wines and some mixers.Prices are very competitive. The store entrance is easily accessible for the mobility challenged as is the inside of the store. The parking lot is flat and easy to navigate. Easy in and out of the parking lot as well.

I would consider 640 liquor store to be a very clean & nicely maintained facility, inside & out. With Its fully stocked inventory, including an excellent selection of Wines, liquor, liqours, including all sizes, brands, & varieties , you cant go wrong stopping here. The prices are very competitive, with many options, from low end to high-end products, & a huge selection of miniature / airplane bottles.

The staff was nice and helpful. However, I am seriously having a problem with stores gouging us on products like Blantons, Wellers, Stagg etc. Ive bought two bottles of Wellers the same week for $38. 640 has it priced for $99. No thanks, Ill take my business somewhere else that puts product on the shelf for fair price
